I am going to need to replace the ones that came in my Ageis Legend eventually.
Hello all, I just bought the Ageis X. Owned the Ageis legend and I'm in love with GeekVape.
My Smok mods were pure crap. Alien 220, battery door issue. G-Prev , 510 connector ended up doing the endless spinning when screwing on a tank.
So, to my question, the Ageis X says it has an updated As 2.0 chip. I googled it and can't find info on this chipset. Anyone have any info on this? Google DNA chipset and you get a billion such pages worth of information.
Aegis legend has a squonk I've been looking at. One thing I dont like is it's a single battery mod. My vaporesso switcher is getting to be very well used. No problems with it but I bought it used and have had it nearly a year. I dont think my friend used it much before he sold it to me and for 20 bucks, I'm not at all disappointed with it. I just feel like maybe I'll be needing a new mod eventually and since I dont have a spare, and since a new mod does have that shinyitis appeal, well you know. Anybody tried this squonker yet? My only concern is the single battery thing. I just prefer two mostly. And my last experience with squonking was less than satisfying so I'm kinda wondering, do I try again or just get a regular aegis legend.
I'm currently using an Aleader Obit 80 and I really like it. It's been the most reliable and delivers the vape I like. This one has held up for over probably 3 years now and is still going. Unfortunately, I dropped it recently and broke the resin case, taped it back and is still working.
Anyways looking for something to replace it with. I have tons of 18650 batteries and prefers for it to be light weight.
I'm seeing a lot of built in battery mods these days, not sure what's the deal with that.
So I have (2) 3100mAh Efest batteries rated @ 20A and (1) 2500mAh Efest batterie rated @ 35A. I'm experiencing a pretty annoying problem with all 3 of them and that is they aren't lasting nearly as long as I feel they should be. I can EASILY vape through a battery in less than one hour while heavy vaping. I'm aware that I am sub-ohming and that requires more power from the battery but these are just going way too fast and something isn't right. I have a BEC Pro mod that takes a single 18650 battery and I'm vaping an Aspire Atlantis tank @ 35 watts with the .5 ohm coil installed. I charge each battery fully with a Nitecore i2 before using them and it'll say 4.2V on my mod & on my Smart BEC app it will say 100% as I take my first few puffs but then starts draining at a ridiculous rate until they are dead. I am not aware what the mod efficiency is on my BEC Pro or if there might be something not working properly within my device. Can someone please help me find what's wrong with these? Maybe some of you have eperienced this problem with Efest batteries in the past? Thanks in advance!
Edit: These are genuine Efest batteries as I bought them straight from the manufacture on Ebay.
Hello All,
Does anyone know which 18650 battery would last the longest when vaping at 13 watts? I have listed some below but any not listed recommendations are welcome as well.
(PS please don't respond with battery safety information or suggestions for me to look at mooch ratings)
Also, does anyone know if the vendors in the last 3 below links are reliable?
Thanks!

Wismec 3 Battery? No good. Breaks within a year without dropping. Replicated on two mods.
Wismec 2/3 mod? Yet again, poor manufacturing. Wires not soldered properly. Almost lasted a year.
Squid Industries Double-Barrel? Craps out after 1 month without any damage. Wont turn on.
GeekVape Aegis Legend? 2 months and not reading the batteries right. Never so much as tipped over on my desk.
SMOK? Had more than I can count or bother to recall the exact models, but every one busted within a year.
None of them seem true to their warranties either. They make it as tedious a process as possible. I haven't tried with the Aegis Legend yet, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say it's probably more of the same.
At this point, I am convinced that I have spent more money on mods than I have on juice. These mods are all made like crap. I don't want to spend $80 every few months to get a new mod. I just want to vape for gods sake.
Has anyone had a mod that has lasted them over a year? What kind was it? I've asked this before and that's what led me to the Double-Barrel and the Aegis Legend. Both have failed on me even sooner than my previous attempts.
Molicel 18650s are ever so slightly bigger than samsungs. I found this the first time I popped a couple in my mod. The fit was a little bit tight. Now as this applies the the legend, the battery door being on the bottom and spring loaded, it's a bit of effort to close it. Not a deal breaker but i just need to make sure its closed securely. Now, lol, this morning I put in some freshly charged batteries, closed the cover and set it down only to have the door pop back open. The spring on this door was strong enough to flip my mod over when it popped open. Its probably only funny if you were here an saw this happen.
So weird question. On my 18650 Paragon I do not have a dry hit problem on my Mutation, but on my 18650 Parallel Dimitri box, after 2-3 hits, with smacked wick it is dry. I have a problem with my switch on my Dimitri where the voltage sometimes is not constant.
I'm thinking somehow this may be the problem, but any help is really appreciated.
Thanks
So i was thinking of starting a thread which might list every mod past and present which would be compiled by you from one day to the next. At first i thought it wouldn't be practical because no one would know if a mod had been added unless they read through the entire thread.
Then i thought if a list from A though Z were compiled systematically by members by copying and pasting the most recent list in this thread, and then contributing to it, ensuring your entries are inserted alphabetically (Even if it's only one or two mods), then eventually this thread could contain pretty much every mod that exists, and would be updated regularly, by you !. No pictures please !. Only brief descriptions such as "company name / name of mod / type of mod".
What better place for such a list than ECF, "The world's largest e-cigarette website.
Here's my contribution to start it off :

Voopoo Too 180 watt tc box mod (2 18650 batteries)

it's a list of all the mods i own at this present time.
If you're going to add to the list then you can add any mods you can think off as long as you place those mods into the existing alphabetical order ( description should start with the company name). Batteries such as, say, vision twist aren't mods so lets not get into those. Tube mods and box mods (Includes internal/built in battery mods) only please (Squonkers included)
And lets not forget Mechanicals.
If you think a previous desciption is incorrect then correct it.
Ensuring company names come first in your description will enable a logical, consistant "alphabetical" understanding of the list by anyone who views it.
If you don't know the name of the company who made the mod just insert the name of the mod etc.
So I ran into a good guy I hadn’t seen for a long time who vapes DL. He’d recently busted his main vape and had picked up a SMOK as a quick emergency backup.
I suggested an ageis legend and a Doom atty to him, but he wants light weight, which is a specialty of neither of those devices. He can wrap and wick an RTA, has a lot of kanthal to use up, and wants a tank bigger than 3ml. The more the merrier I suspect. His batteries also suck.
So if it would please the participants, I’m looking for suggestions.
Mod:
- light weight. Small would be nice to
- reasonably high quality. He doesn’t need ruggedized necessarily but he wants it to last.
- Low cost (he’s willing to work with Chinese no-names and to shop China channel. He likes Ali-express)
- 2x18650, though I suspect a 1x2x700 would also suffice. He vapes DL so a certain amount of power is needed
- No Blinky Lights (this one is absolutely non negotiable)
Atty:
- DL
- Doesn’t leak (yeah I know. Anything will leak.)
- Capacity over 3ml
I’d personally like to add no paint or gold electroplating over pit metal. He didn’t ask but they suck bad.
Gonna mail him a link to this thread.
UPDATE:
Dude is an old ECF member and his account still works!
The person I was asking for is @rigorist
He will have more accurate data than me.
