I have been continuously vaping for 8 month...and recently I felt lots of phlegm inside my throat,it’s a little uncomfortable...
How many years have you been vaping,do you see any unwanted side effect while vaping?
I have been using 9-10ml of juice a day as I have nothing to do all day while vaping is what I enjoy.I couldn’t sleep if I didn’t satisfy my vaping needs,I mean right before I sleep, vaping would most probably be the last thing I do and then I drink a cup of water. The thing is,when I wake up my throat is extremely dry, which has been for the past week.Today I felt some phlegm in my throat(it’s been two month since I last felt sick).I am not worried for the short term,I am just thinking if my throat is always dry, when I wake up,would I develop throat cancer in the future?
I hope I can get back to work and keep myself busy so that I am not chain vaping...
Hey guys! I'm new here so thanks for having me! I have been vaping for 2 years now.
I am looking for a good system that can give me that throat hit and stand chain vaping at times. I had been using the Smok Nord and that was working really well, but it recently broke so I was recommended the Orion Lost Vape DNA. I prefer small mods and pens, but really need that throat hit since I started vaping once I quit cigs.
Salt Nic juices have helped a ton with that hit but with the Orion my coils are burning out in like 3 days? Lowering the wattage levels take away that throat hit, too.
What do you guys recommend?
THANK YOU!!
I am very curious. There is a LOT of talk about not knowing the long term effects of vaping. It has only really been around for a little more than 10 years.
Who here has been vaping the longest? I have been vaping for about 8 years. I have seen no bad side effects or health problems. It has dramatically improved my breathing, endurance, and just generally feeling much better.
Do we have anyone that is in the 10+ year category? 10+ years won't make the doctors happy but I think that is long enough to start picking away at the "don't know long term effect" garbage.
One of my friend on the other forum I visit said he had used vaping to quit cigarette, weed, cigar and shisha,it’s just so dam effective?
Last year when I was using Vape continuously for 6 month,my then gf suspected that I was high on .......,which I know I am not myself...
Hiya guys, I was a heavy smoker for a fair few years, and went cold turkey on real ciggs and jumped directly to E-Ciggs. I used the small ones for about 6 months (where they actually look like a real cigg) until I discovered tanks and refills.
I have used exclusively through my journey an EVOD battery, and EVOD clearomiser, along with a 1.8ohm coil. Which I replace regularly.
Now I am a chain vaper, I have it on my persons at all times, and am constantly puffing away on it. 10ml of liquid lasts me about 5-6 days.
I never had issue with vaping, I used VIP USA Tobacco liquid for about a year, and then they stopped making it, so I switched to The Alchemists Cupboard, and vape their Coconut Caramel Hazlenut Honey liquid.
Towards the end of my run with VIP, I noticed almost overnight, I had a feeling my throat was blocked with phlegm and kept having to swallow to relieve the feeling. I am now almost 8 months in using TAC Liquids and the blocked throat feeling is there 24/7, it seems to go after eating something, but returns within an hour. It's like I have food or something stuck in my throat, that wont go down. It actually feels like phlegm. Now when I wake up in a morning, it's almost completely gone, but after vaping it returns.
Has anyone else who vapes heavy ran into this after 2+ years of vaping? Is there anything I can do short of stopping to make this go away?
My liquid is 50VG/50PG, and I have been constantly using 18mg.
I'm going through a ton of stress at my job and recently began vaping ALOT more than I normally would, in two days I went through a 30mL bottle (not sure if that's a lot for some of you, but for me it is!)
about five days ago I woke up and my throat was EXTREMELY sore, extreme strep throat sore. For several days I could hardly talk and had excessive coughing spurts every 15-30 minutes. It's finally calmed down, last night I smoked a few cigarettes and had no discomfort in my throat, but I picked up my vape and tried to take a hit and the pain cannot be described. Today the same thing, I had a cigarette and was fine but when I go to hit my vape it's just unreal how bad the pain is in the back of my throat.
I know some people can have a bad reaction to the PG but I've been vaping for three + years and never had this type of problem. Has anyone else had this experience? Should i let my throat heal a little more before vaping? I just don't understand how a cigarette can be fine and the pain from the vape be so much.
I just got married and I had a job as retail salesperson inside a air conditioned shop. Now I am still quarentined overseas so I don’t know how will be the situation when I returned.I am a closet vaper,i recently invested on two mod, tank and many sub ohm coil,if I don’t use them I felt like I wasted and I don’t want to go through the trouble of selling them and lost money.I can sense that when I vape nic salt on a pod,my wife didn’t really complain and I myself felt more comfortable vaping it...whenever my wife walk out of the room,I would be chain vaping my sub ohm set up.I really hope I can use my mod and tank when all this f**king Conora virus is ok.Anyone can advise on my situation,or anyone here can sort of relate to me somehow?
Thanks for reading!
So I’ve been vaping 12MG nic for a while on my Kayfun and it’s the right amount of nic to satisfy my nic needs. Only thing is at 12 mg I do still get a few harsh throat hits and I’m not sure what the best way to tackle it is.
I’m already vaping Nic salt nicotine with hi VG, suppose I’m wondering is their any super smooth eliquds in the market that mint remedy this? I’ve noticed with some eloquids at 12mg is less harsh than other liquids at 12mg. I don’t make my own liquid tho so I have no clue on how flavours may effect throat hit.
I might also drop to 10MG and vape at a slightly higher wattage which I’m yet to experiment. Any advice would be fantastic!
I "successfully" quit vaping for 2 month. It actually wasn't that bad, I was able to fill the void with music/gum/walks. Right now I have 0 physical temptation to vape.
But there has been many stressful situations and I feel without the vape it made everything harder. To me, it's not that I had to have it, but it was something enjoyed. And taking it away made life a little less fun. It's like saying you can never eat candy or drink coffee again.
The only reason I quit was for the health benefits. I heard vaping can cause COPD but then I also hear it's a lot less harmful than smoking. But here's the thing that really demotivates one from quitting vaping:
We are not sure how harmful is it (if at all)
There are many other things bad for us in life, like air pollution, asbestos, etc. Is it worth giving up something that you enjoy for a marginal health benefit? I vape at a low wattage so I don't think I'm getting lots of formaldehydes.
I'm really thinking about going back to vaping. I think I'll vape a few more years and if news comes out by then that vaping is truly really bad, then I'll quit...
I don't know... it's not like we are going to live forever even if we don't vape/smoke/do anything unhealthy...
With all the bad press regarding vaping i've found myself really self-conscience about vaping in public lately. been vaping for 6 years solid and i haven't felt like this since i was a smoker. where once i was enjoying the freedom of blowing billowing blue-white clouds while waltzing down the avenue, now i feel like i'm the harlot in the midnight choir wearing a scarlet letter.
to top it off is my frustration of the talking heads in the media not telling the full truth about those who are falling ill or dying from vaping due to vaping things other than just nicotine. it seems easier for them to just lump everyone in a general vaping category without specifying the underlying cause.
i get that parents have been in a tizzy over their kids treating vaping like it's candy time at the O.K. Corral, but deal with that issue specifically. it's socially irresponsible to go after all vapors, many of whom might be tempted to pick up smoking again because, at least right now, it seems like it might become a more socially acceptable stigma than vaping ... imagine that ... despite the fact that smoking is many times more dangerous. of course there's always good 'ol Chantix ... if you don't mind the possible psychopathic side-effects.
anyway i don't know what the point of this is. i'm just frustrated and needed to vent.
