So Now What?

Our wonderful governor banned everything and I need some stuff, cotton and pods. Anyone shipping to a banned state?

Shipping Networks - Flavor Ban Lifted

I have not personally verified this information. But, I heard that these shipping networks are now shipping Eliquids to once banned states.

Can anyone verify?

Will The New Postal Ban Effect Liquid Nicotine On Its Own?

I have been mixing my own Juice for the last 1-2 years since my state (NJ) banned all flavored E-juice sales. None of my favorite sellers would ship to me anymore.

I did not stock up. I did not know this postal ban was a thing until 2 hours ago when I noticed the wholesaler I purchase from removed most of its products. Even if I did, the stuff will only last me about 2 years. With the way things are, these kinds of laws rarely get reversed once enacted. I thought the 21 age for buying tobacco products would never catch on and be repealed, but look where we are now. No matter how many angry letters you send or how many signatures you get, nothing will happen.

And so, I am left thinking about what I can and can not get in the future. VG and PG will always be around in bulk as it is not only used for vape juice. The flavoring is the same flavoring used for brewing and baking, so no issue there. The liquid nicotine, specifically the extract and not the salt, is where I question the future availability (the salt is almost definitely out of the question).

Are there any other uses for liquid nicotine or is this it for DYI?

Edit: Apparently VG and PG will also be banned, at least by UPS (link below). I guess nicotine solution is also out of the question there.

What Will Become Of Ecf In The Aftermath Of A Ban?

What will become of ECF in the aftermath? If flavors are banned and refillables get banned as well, would discussions about such subjects be allowed to continue? Where would the forum go from there?... monetizing the site might also be more difficult. I would hate to lose such a valuable resource.

Menthol And Mint Being Banned Too!?

Does anyone know if mint and menthol are considered flavors, for the purpose of the upcoming ban. I always thought they weren't but on the radio today, I thought I heard it say that they will be banned too.

I Am Not Brophmantooth Or A Scammer

I dont know why people say that I am as I cannot get onto VU cause I'm banned but please, hear me out. I have never scammed anyone. Hell I got sent $100 this weekend by mistake on PayPal and I returned it to the person. I can show proof of that. I did business with multiple people before I was banned and had nothing but 100% positive feedback. Jinxd from VU sent me $10 to send him an rta, i wasnt able to ship it cause i couldnt get his address from the messages. I paid him back and can prove that too. I traded MANY times with gadget, once for an authentic mod worth over $100. Did not scam him.
I want people to stop accusing me of stuff I did not do. I hate that people I dont even know or who dont know me hate me cause of something I did not do. I dont enjoy being harassed over this when I had nothing to do with what happened. Hell I am willing to pay or give or whatever happened to whoever got scammed just to clear my name. I have a good job I have had for many years now. I have no reason to scam anyone.
If I was scamming people on VU why the heck would I come here under the same name?? That makes no sense to me. Anyways, I'm sorry for whatever happened and if theres a way for me to fix it. I will. Just please, stop harassing me when I didnt do anything to anyone

New 'baddie'. Mint/ Menthol Flavor Causes Cancer.

E-cigarette cancer warning as new study finds mint and menthol flavour risk

The study of menthol and peppermint vapes revealed high concentrations of a carcinogenic additive called pulegone that US watchdogs recently banned in food.

The pulegone additive, a constituent of oil extracts from mint plants, is believed to cause liver cancer if absorbed in high enough quantities.

Mint, menthol e-cigarette liquids high in cancer-causing compound: study - Reuters

The findings, published in the journal JAMA Internal Medicine

Vape Pods Taste Minty Thanks to Extremely High Levels of a Chemical Banned in Food

But despite all the evidence that pulegone is carcinogenic and causes liver toxicity, researchers found the chemical is present in mint and menthol-flavored e-cig liquid at levels far above a safe threshold.

This study is the latest in a growing pile of proof to how little-regulated e-cigs and vapes are. To illustrate that, researchers compared pulegone levels in mint and menthol e-cig liquid to levels in menthol cigarettes. At all levels of daily consumption, pulegone exposure from vape pods are significantly higher than exposure from cigarettes, with rates ranging from 44 to 1,608 times higher.

So much for Juul's best seller - menthol.

Will Flavours Be Banned In New York In July 2020?

I read e.g. this article:
To Fight Vaping, New York City Bans Nearly All Flavored E-Cigarettes
Now I am a little confused.
I am visiting NYC in July 2020 and now I don't know if I can bring my flavoured e-liquid for personal use (perhaps 50ml with 2mg nic). Will vaping flavours in the streets of NYC be banned in July 2020? Is there already a final decision on this topic? I just want to make sure in advance. I'd take a tabacco flavour or unflavored liquid instead of mango when there will be a flavour ban.
Is here someone who knows more about the flavor ban in NY, perhaps also in Washingtin D.C. and Boston, where plan to travel for a daytrip?

Banned? Help!! I Have Been Out Of The Loop....

I just recently joined this community and have been reading the forums and I am scared! I live in Northern California, NOT San Francisco. I started vaping back in 2013 and quit cigarettes for good! I use Nautilus tanks and coils, Eleaf batteries (purchased on Ebay) and J-vapes out of Arizona. I have had no problems or warnings about getting these products. I use flavored tobaccos so I am not worried about a flavor ban....but what does this mean? I have just been vaping, oblivious to any problems or bans. Are all vaping products going to be banned? Will I not be able to purchase my items from Ebay or J-vapes anymore? Can someone please fill this out of touch person in with the latest news and what I should do? HELP!!!
