Hello everybody,
So we all know what we like or love about vaping, for me, it's pretty much everything, but there is always that one thing (or more!) that really grinds our gears! I want to hear it, and I want to hear why! It could be any number of things you can think of, but here is mine;
Low sub-Ohming... Contained energy is practically a bomb, we all know that, I have no beef with cloud chasers but responsibility is key. I cringe seeing things lower than 0.3 or 0.4, no battery can truly handle such extremities, and not many metals can either, hell, if it's done wrong any sub-Ohm can be dangerous. Yes it's very rare for things to go drastically wrong, but rare or not, the media loves it and makes everybody think it's a common occurence, how many of you thought you were going to die from Ebola!? But the whole point is that these are a much healthier alternative to smoking, lets not feed the nasty media trying to say otherwise- nobody wants to detonate or smoke heavy metals! Know your Ohms law!
Take it away!
Sam
Here's an interesting read... and their analysis of the data the FDA used makes sense.
In the new study, University College London health psychologist Martin Jarvis and his co-authors argue that a closer look at the survey data suggests the FDA exaggerated the threat posed by adolescent e-cigarette use.

The FDA Plans To Ban Flavored E-Cigarettes Based on a Nonexistent 'Epidemic' of Adolescent Nicotine Addiction
And so it begins......
WASHINGTON — The Trump administration said Wednesday it plans to ban the sale of non-tobacco-flavored electronic cigarettes amid a vaping crisis.
“The Trump Administration is making it clear that we intend to clear the market of flavored e-cigarettes to reverse the deeply concerning epidemic of youth e-cigarette use that is impacting children, families, schools and communities,” Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said in a statement. “We will not stand idly by as these products become an on-ramp to combustible cigarettes or nicotine addiction for a generation of youth.”
Michigan became the first state to prohibit sales of most flavored e-cigarettes last week in a bold move to curb the underage vaping epidemic. The ban, which will take effect in a few weeks, will cover both online and in-store sales of all e-cigarette flavors except tobacco.

Flavors...We all know how critical they are to our vaping and avoiding cigarettes.
So I am curious...
Just 2 things...
How old are you and what flavor are you vaping right now ?
I am 62 and vaping a watermelon and cherry mix
I do not know if anyone else has posted about this topic, so here is mine. I recently tried to order a new tank and juice from a vendor on Taobao ( big online store in China), and was met with, "search not found", over and over again. I sent a Wechat (Chinese Twitter) to a vendor that I know in another city and was informed that the Chinese government had banned the sale of ALL vaping products. The reason? Well to stop children vaping of course. Apparently there is an epidemic (no pun), of kids stealing their parents credit cards, ordering hardware and juice and then hoping their parents do not intercept the parcels. Forgive me for being incredulous with this regard. So at a hand wave the Country that benefits the most from the vaping industry bans it from their own country! So vapers in the West think yourself lucky that your governments can not just railroad vaping as much as their sponsors would like them to. I am coming up to 11 years of vaping, going to be hard to keep going when a 30ml bottle of juice is Wechat selling for about $25 plus postage. Especially as I can buy a pack of MB red for just over a $. So I wonder how long I will be able to vape as I sip on my Corona V.
Amid rising deaths and illnesses, Montana temporarily bans flavored e-cigarettes
Montana Gov. Steve Bullock on Tuesday enacted a 120-day ban on the sale of flavored vaping products, saying that e-cigarettes are a growing epidemic causing harm among today’s teens.
The ban will go into effect Oct. 22 and the 120 days is the maximum time allowed by law. The state is to implement emergency administrative rules to temporarily prohibit the sale of flavored e-cigarettes.
I had asked a while ago on here about the oral health impacts of vaping as I was concerned with how the dehydration caused by vaping would impact my gums. I never did get any solid answers and when visiting my dentist the other day I asked and they sent me the article linked below later that day. It turns out its the nicotine we need to worry about based on this article, i'm sure the dehydration isn't great either.
The take away from this article for me isn't that we should all stop vaping because its bad for our gums. Just that we should be aware of what vaping can do (especially excessive vaping) and take the proper steps to ensure it doesn't become a problem. If you aren't brushing your teeth as often as you should, and you aren't flossing while vaping excessively all day long there is a good chance you could run into issues with Periodontal Disease.

Hello everyone.
Hope you and your loved ones are staying safe.
What small things we do while vaping that deserve no explanation?
Myself I have the quirk (hope this is the right word) of only liking to set my wattage in some specific numbers and/or sequences:
2-7-12-17-22-27-32-etc or numbers ending with 9.
What else... I have a thing for black mods and black atomisers.
Anyone else have some things that fit the topic that want to share?
Stay safe. Have fun.
A while back I saw a group of teens trying to buy non-alcoholic beer. I was like "Good for them. You can enjoy beer without getting drunk". Little did I or they know, they couldn't buy it being underage which is dumb but a whole other topic.
It got me thinking, why not allow teens to buy zero nic pods or whatever. The big issue that I hear from most politicians is they don't want a whole new generation hooked on nicotine. A company like Juul for example could do some testing to prove they are safe, list the ingredients so people know what they are vaping etc. I mean they let kids buy McDonalds and Oreos. Want to talk about an epidemic.... obesity!!
