Does vaping with nicotine make us addicted?
Well i started vaping now , before that i never smoke a ciggarate.
I use pods with salt nic 25mg and when i tried it the first time its making me nauseous , i heard that salt nic is more effective for body to adsorb? So will it making me really addicted?
Also i use sub ohm , well not very low resistance but still , its a sub ohm.
I want to know how many mag of nicotine salt your using and how many ml of it?
I plan to move to nicotine salt as I am vaping almost 15ml of freebase via sub ohm which i plan to just use pod and a nic salt, and hopefully I don’t get nic sick
First off, let me start by saying that I do understand that this is the complete opposite of the reason for which to start vaping and that I do understand that nicotine is bad for you. I'm wondering if anyone here has heard of or has had a similar situation to me.
I initially started vaping as a way to just relax and do smoke tricks without having to use a hookah. I used 0 nic juices and enjoyed the convenience of having a vape. It also gave me a cleaner solution than bumming cigarettes when I was drunk. (I always want to smoke when I'm drunk for some reason. I can't find an explanation for that) Eventually, I moved on to using 6mg (still there today) juices to utilize the nicotine to help stay awake and focus on school work (I know I sound crazy, but it is a scientifically proven result of nicotine usage) in addition to the aforementioned usages.
It might be worth noting that I do not feel addicted and have gone through many perfectly normal days without using my vape at all.
So essentially, instead of stepping down like a traditional smoker, I stepped up. Has anyone ever heard of anyone doing something like this? Just curious.
Tomorrow I will be entering my fourth smoke-free week. I started out with 12mg Green Smokes which at the time seemed mild even though I had been of 1 PAD light tobacco smoker for many many years. Since then I have moved to mvps and tanks using mainly 6mg liquid, bought or made. Last night I found a box of the 12mg Green Smokes lying around and on a whim thought I would try one. I very nearly choked!! The 12mg hit my throat like an atom bomb and I was hacking for half an hour straight.
It's amazing isn't it. I rarely inhale while vaping - don't feel the need to. And yet I am satisfied and I feel I am pretty much getting over my nicotine addiction without even trying. I shall probably go on being addicted to the vaping because it is a pleasurable activity in itself but I can see myself going nicotine free in the not too distant future.
So my advice to anyone just starting on this journey - get yourself some good equipment and some nice liquid. You'll forget all about analogues in no time.
Ive always vaped juices with 3mg Nic and have never been bothered by the taste of it. Now, a couple of weeks ago i quit smoking cigarettes and picked up my vapes again and orderes some new juices as well.
the problem is I get a strong and "peppery" taste of the nicotine and it feel like im vaping like 9mg juices. It really bothers me since I dont get the most flavour out of my juices.
Has someone experienced the same thing? what is going on? i bought 4 differens e-juices and there regular nic in 2 of them and salt nic-shots (for shortfills) in the other 2. they all taste the same in regards to that awful taste.
lets face it, im addicted to nicotine. i will eventually start vaping 0mg but if i do that right now, im afraid i will go back to the cancer-sticks
I was out to dinner with a friend the other day, and she mentioned that she hadn't seen me use salt at a restaurant in a long time.
And it hit me. When I was a smoker (about a carton a week, give or take) I was (what I would call) a moderate to heavy salt user. It was rare for me to eat out and NOT use salt.
After I quit smoking/started vaping I don't think I was really aware of what was happening because it was a gradual change, but when I sit back and think about it, I can't even recall the last time I refilled my salt shaker at home. Heck, it rarely even comes out of the cupboard any more, and when I do use salt, it's just a little itty bitty shake. Using salt at my previous levels makes things TOO salty.
Anyone else noticed this?
Has anyone ever purchased or used Delosi 100 mg salt nicotine? I can but Carolina Extract or Perfect Vape and living in NY those are about my 2(expensive) choices.Since mail ban I was quite happy with LNW salt for 89$/liter I was just wondering if Delosi also had decent quality salt nic? I have 2 more liters but since everyones sold out n the rest wont sell to Ny or committed to strict new mail ban etc but Delosi n few others will but they are double the price n heard good things about Delosi.Has anyone ever bought freebase or salt nic from Delosi to give me any idea? Oddly I heard they don't used Benzoic acid which is main ingredient thet takes harshness from freebase..i mean I only vape 12-15 mg but certainly don't want any harshness like the Ave salt nic is normally smooth up to 50 mg..thank you guys any direction would help..Mike
I have been vaping on and off for over a year now. I have tried every strength, tons of different ejuice company's, making my own, have the best tanks and mods etc. and it just doesn't agree with me. I actually have 3mg nic right now and after two puffs it is all I can take. Everyone else I no or see puffs on them just like a smoke. I have read and heard that with analogue the nicotine is absorbed through your lungs and wuth vaping the nicotine is absorbed through your mouth and sinuses. I gave a very dry and raw miuth due to medications and have allergies so my sinuses are dry from nasal spray etc. I can smoke a pack of analogues a day no ptoblem but I JUST WANT TO VAPE!!!! PLEASE HELP
I'm down from 50mg nic salt to 18mg nic salt. I'm trying to figure out what freebase mg e-liquid to try next.
Here is an interesting article about nicotine vs. caffeine.
Caffeine vs Nicotine - similarities and differences
I just recently switched to using moti and 25mg nic salt. The throat hit is better, but I think I can only use less of it because I might get nausea if I continue hitting it.Are you using a mod/tank with freebase or a pod and salt nic?
Hey guys,
I’m new to vaping. I have been a heavy 2 pack a day Marlboro light smoker for 20 years. I recently got into vaping and so far it has been an amazing journey!
I started with a small pod device (Caliburn) with 16MG nic salt. I found that I was still not able to quit smoking. I went back to my local Vape shop and got some 20mg nic salt juice, and that was too strong! It made me dizzy and confused and I just felt unwell. Even though @20mg I was getting a lot of nicotine I still wanted to smoke a cigarette.
On a whim I decided to give sub ohm vaping a try. I got myself a Lost Vape Thelema DNA 250c + a Freemax Mesh Pro 2 tank. I opted with 6MG freebase juice at 70/30. And sure enough it worked! I was able to quit smoking and have been smoke free for a week now!
My question though, is 6MG freebase nic @0.2 ohms (dual mesh), 70-80 watts too much? I feel fine for the most part and my cravings for cigarettes are under control. However from what I’ve read (and what the guy at my local Vape shop says) is that for sub ohm vaping you generally should stick to about 3mg of nicotine.
I know everyone is different, and you should do what works for you. But I’m just worried that with the large amount of Vapor I’m producing 6MG might just be a little risky.
I Vape quite a lot (200-250 puffs a day) and probably somewhere around 15-20ml of juice a day (at 0.2 ohms @ 70w the juice burns pretty quick). As mentioned above I generally feel fine. However sometimes I do feel a bit out of breath and like my chest is heavy. This could be gas (perhaps from inhaling so much air?). Or it could just be me adjusting from cigarettes to vaping. I don’t feel nauseous or have headaches.
Please let me know your opinions. Would really appreciate some advice from more experienced vapers!
Thanks!
