There is a lot of stigma around buying products from China and most recently I have been asked by many vaping friends. How I get my products so cheap...simple buy direct. They didn’t quite understand as they thought the products were either fake or 2nd due to the price.
So I’ve been recommending CIGABUY company I’ve used for over a year. I really cannot falter their fast shipping to the UK ranges from 4-7days depending on local delivery etc. Some say but I need coils now! Plan ahead its much cheaper and in the long run it will save you money.
I ordered two sets of coils for £19 and when I went to a local shop they basically wanted £30, but had a back log from thier supplier, 2weeks wait! Im not trying to put custom off the local shops at all just sometimes if you cannot get hold of coils it maybe easier. And most I’ve been too have recommended wholesalers. It wont put them out of business over a couple of sets of coils as I know only 20% of people choose this option. But for the likes of people who cant afford the higher expense its a good option
Hope this helps

Hi I recently purchased the Falcon 2, using it with my aegis Legend. I’m new to vaping, so inexperienced. I’ve just burnt through two coils in two days. I keep getting nasty tasting e liquid in my mouth aswell as the coils burning super fast. Maybe I’m priming wrong, I’m also vaping straight at the recommended wattage (70w). Can somebody help, thanks.
tomorrow in Massachusetts I was told by Gary at MVS during the 4 month ban of vape gear while investigating why people in the US have gotten very sick or died from vaping NON VAPING related marijuana oil products.
So find your friends out of state or get online tonight to order your coils and juices.
Maybe the investigation should be why people in other countries haven’t been getting sick and why this is JUST happening now after a couple of decades of people vaping e juice. Could be something to do with the government and politicians trading in a multi billion dollar industry and let’s not forget the lobbyists errr donors.
And yes I emailed and called my knee jerk reacting guv Baker to express my embarrassment that one of the states with the highest quality Universities aren’t asking for FACTS.
Big Tobacco (and Pharm) and the governments reason of losing $7 billion dollars to people switching from known carcinogenic cigarettes to less harmful vaping products.
As more bans get put into place and more people get sick or die from contaminated black market ejuice and THC products.
Just as planned so they can point their fingers and scream - we told you it was dangerous!!
Just sat down this morning and had a quick look at where all my money's been going for the past few months.
Previously, I had smoking down to ~5 a day. Used to get them all from abroad, so roughly £5 for 20 at most. 40/week so £10/week and £520 in a year.
My current ecig spend:
£30 for first ecig
£25 for a Vision Spinner Battery
£15 for replacement tanks
£40 replacement coils (standard coils, then unicoils)
£100+ - Totally Wicked liquids
£50 - iStick
£25 - Subtank mini
£70 - mixing kit and concentrates
£50 - e-sheesha + cartomisers
£50 - premium liquids
£455+ (and that's just about 6 months, started in October)
I know that most if it was invested in the kit, and now that I have my ideal setup I hopefully won't be making those expensive purchases anymore on tanks and batteries. The DIY kit has enough to keep me going, now it's just buying concentrates that I need for recipes. I would have saved a lot more if I'd got the quality kit early on, but at the time I was new to it and wasn't sure if it's something I'd pursue.
It's probably not even that much in comparison what others spend, but I still feel like I've spent way more money than I should have.
Anyone in the same boat?
I have been vaping for 4 years now. I am using the baby beast tank. I have 3 of them.
I have never used anything else because,, well, it works fine for me. My problem is that I am having a hard time finding coils. I used to by clone coils on ebay for dirt cheap. There are no longer any coils on ebay. I cant find any coils online. They are either out of stock; or very expensive. What do people do nowadays? Do people still use the baby beast or has everyone
changed to something cheaper/better? I always use Q2 .4 Ohm coils. I only found 1 place online that has them and they are $20 for 5 of them (including shipping). What would you guys do? I was so happy with the clone coils. They were inconsistent but cheap. Some would last 3 days and some would last 10 days; but for $1.35/each I was happy.
Thank you for any advice you can give.

First off, I would like to say that I’m very new to vaping. I started off with a JUUL, then a Smok Novo 2, and eventually got sick of buying pods.
Now I have a Hellvape MD, and an Ares 2 - the first provides better flavor, but it’s still not comparable to what I was getting in my pod systems. I just recently purchased a BP Mods Pioneer, and I’m hoping that gives me better results. I’m using an Aegis Mini for a mod.
I’m trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong, because it’s really frustrating to spend all this money for worse flavor, when I was hoping it would let me save money.
I have about 40 bottles of salt nic flavors that are 50 or 35 mg, and a couple 3mg freebase I bought (120ml for $7 seemed like a steal). I would really like to get away from the salt nic, but I seem to get even worse flavor from the 3mg.
I’m using 2.5ID 28ga SS316L round wire from Master Wire Supply (I have a spool) with Puffs Organic Cotton. My coils are usually .7ohms, but I’ve tried up to 1ohm. I’ve also tried 1 ohm Vandy Vape Superfine MTL fused claptons, and experienced similar results.
I’m using the MD with the most restrictive airflow settings (3 small hole airflow disk), low (2-3) adjustable AFC setting. I have my coil as low as possible to the airflow, and I have thinned / fluffed my wicks.
I haven’t tried adjusting the airflow below the coil on the Ares 2, because the video instructions say wide open airflow below the coil is the best for flavor (I have found the opposite to be true for the MD).
Can someone provide me more insight?
Will 2mm ID coils with the same amount of wraps taste better than 2.5? Do coil ohms do anything for flavor, or does it only change how fast it heats up? Will I lose flavor if my coils hang outside the diameter of the airflow disk?
Is there a certain type of coil that would give me better flavor than regular round wire?
I use TC at 420F 20 watts
Any kind of feedback is appreciated and if I left anything out or you have questions about my set up that could help me out please ask! I’m at a loss on what to do, and it seems like no amount of research is helping
Hey everyone! So it’s clear that things are changing for all of you who live in the USA. I truly feel for all of you, and I still can’t believe this is happening. But, what is the impact that this is going to have in all of the other countries that basically depend on the US market?
I live in Perú and in most shops, if not in all of them, most of the juice that is sold is directly imported from the USA. Does this mean that we won’t be able to purchase these items anymore either? And what about new devices? I’m aware that most of them are made in China but under American brands.
I understand that the USA has probably been one of the biggest markets in regards to vaping. How is this whole thing going to impact the rest of the world? Our vape community isn’t that big, it just started growing last year. Stores don’t really make their own e-juices, it’s hard to get good quality ingredients.
I’d really appreciate your thoughts <3
Well, I figured this would be the place to go to express my vaping pride as of right now. I just realize that I am becoming a financially responsible and informed vaper (LOL).
After years of using a popular company that sells 808 cig-a-like's and 808 mod cigar-type batteries, I have graduated to the fine world of 510 products. I have nothing bad to say about the company I used to primarily use. Their products and juices are what made me definitively kick the alternative to vaping and for that I will be forever grateful for them. I guess it's like loving your high school but realizing how cool college is!
But after a while you start noticing how expensive of a habit/hobby vaping could be. Cartomizers costing $7+ and 12-13$ juices is not exactly an economical way to vape. Plus, from what I have seen the majority of the e-cig market has 510 threaded products.
So I dipped my toe into the 510 world by buying an iStick mini. I tried the ViVi Novas and quite honestly thought they sucked. I went ahead and got the Aspire Nautilus and anyone who has tried this combo knows what a pleasant experience it continues to be. Then I went ahead and order a Mini Nautilus and a 30W iStick to have that versatility and the possibility of sub obm vaping in the future.
So I tried a new e-liquid supplier in Mt. Baker. For the most part, I am a menthol guy and found their "Extreme Ice" to be unbelievable (like winterfresh gum) and their regular menthol flavor to be awesome. No to mention how great their prices are for me. I still have a few other samples left to try but so far their spin on Jolly Ranchers is a nice occasional "change of taste" vape!
Anyway, I just ordered a bunch of replacement coils for the Nautilus for really cheap and two more Mini tanks so I can change flavors more often without having to go through the whole tank. I just realized how a little more money up front really does mean more savings in the long run. Not to mention-- a far more rewarding vaping experience.
The moral of the story is that my vaping morale is extremely high. I am grateful for slowly but surely figuring this all out. I'm getting a hold of how to do this economically and learning about all of the wonderful products the vaping market has to offer.
I'm coming up on my one year anniversary (if not, just passed it) of no analogs. I figured I'd share my thoughts with all of you wonderful people here since I don't really have anyone else to chat with this about!
Cheers!
I've had the same exact set up for about a year and a half now. Itaste VTR + Aerotank with 1.5 ohm coils, and i vape at 9.0 watts. I tend to only vape one specific brand/flavor, I'm one of those weird people that just like one thing and stick with it. Up until July last year, i used a local vape shop's liquid. I liked it and it was fantastic. I'm a little fuzzy on their ratio, but I believe it was 70/30 pg/vg. Their liquid would never pool under the coil and my coils would last for over 5 weeks at a time. Then i moved. The cost of their liquid plus shipping was just too high, i was already paying 22 bucks for a 30 ml plus shipping on top of it was just killing my wallet. I found a couple other sources of liquid, one on the net being Apollo ecigs, and the other being local B&M selling VGOD liquid. Both of those i believe are 70/30 vg/pg.
Now since the switch to either of those 2 liquids, my coils are only lasting 5 days tops, and at nearly 2 dollars a pop, its killing my wallet even more than with the liquid i was having shipped here from that local store in FL. What is going on? Is that ratio of VG/PG killing my coils? Its not so much that the coils are burning out, but i just keep having to take a harder and harder draw as the days go on. When its a fresh coil, i get tons of flavor and good vapor, but towards day 4-5, flavor minimizes and vapor decreases. I've soaked them in distilled water and let them dry out, but even that the flavor/vapor tends to peter out after a day or so.
Thoughts?
Hi,
I just tried to TC vaping - and it’s awesome!
it was harder to build the coil, took me couple of tries, but once I reached R of 1.3, everything started to work.
I used 26awg wire SS316L (that’s what they had ready in the store).
I have no dry hits - at all, it’s just perfect. It’s like having on the fly automatically adjusted curve!
I do have one small problem- 1 out of 10 mod firing - (almost) nothing happens.
is it a problem (not good chip/mod, wire, else?), or is it intended? (Coil overheated, wick is dry, else?). But that’s a small nuisance - I wait 10 seconds and wape again no problem.
what I still don’t understand - why I was always told at the stores “don’t TC vape - it’s the old way, now VW is the way to go” without any explanation.
So far I have a feeling that it was done exclusively in stores interest:
- because they know it’s harder to built, so they didn’t want to have a complaining customer “it does not work”, because the mods for tc probably cost more so it’s tougher sell, and they wanted to sell me more coils, wick, juice...
are there other reasons against TC? (Safety, medical reasons (idk - SS wire releases particles or something - seems unlikely (I know with Ti and Ni you should be causious)), else?
I continue to research this topic as well, online, YouTube, etc, but so far I found nothing against, except what I already mentioned (mainly it’s a bit harder to build the coils).
Would appreciate your opinions!
regards,
Vadim
ps. I use EHPRO Cold Steel 100 mod, Siren 2 MTL RTA.
Last week on a road trip with my motorcycle club, I had to go back to the “ash tray”. It’s to dangerous on the road, on “two wheels” with these constant sneezing attacks. I bummed cigarettes, then bought cigarettes. There’s thousands of road miles planned this summer, I’m leaving again next weekend. I love to ride, hate cigarettes, the taste, smell and cost but vaping will surely kill me!
There isn’t much of anything here or on the WWW about my issue with sneezing attacks. Not just a little sneeze but 4, 5 6 or more with an irritable urge, watery eyes and nose. When I put down my vape for an hour, it goes away, when I hit it, it starts back. Allergy medicine doesn’t stop it and makes me drowsy. This just started about 3 weeks ago, it’s like I’m suddenly allergic to...?
I’ve been vaping since 2013 when my lovely 77 yr old Aunt shared her vape. I had tried everything on the market including prescription drugs and hypnosis to put down my 20 year pack a day stink habit. For 5+ years I’ve been using an RTA and DIY juice. I’ve been using the same DIY products from Nicotine River (fresh frozen) since Dec 2019 as well as same flavors, TFA, LorAnn, Capella and same recipes. using a VG 70/30 @ 8+ Nic.
For 4+ years with zero issues I used the Lemo 2. Yes an oldie, but ya no how it is when you find a good combination. Until last year, I could get all the rebuildable supplies at Fastech. Since 2020 I’ve been buying and using different RTA’s, RDA’s Squonks, mesh coils, etc. searching for a “new love”.
My tanks are Profile Unity, Zeus Dual RTA, Creed RTA, Drop, Brunhilde and Dead Rabbit. JIC it was the new packaged supplied wicks & coils, I went back to my old wicking material which didn’t help. Tried 100% VG with VG Nic Salts, no change. I’m at a dead end, totally out of ideas, I give up, still hate cigarettes but...
Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
