The FDA has a decision on e cigs.they are supposed to be banning all flavored pods.
They are not going to be banning top tank e cigs because kids don't like them.
I hope this is true.friday we should know more. Happy New year.
Flavor ban on flavored cartridges will do kids more harm than good. If a minor wants to vape, smoke cigs, drink, or other things that are against the law and harmful for them no one can stop them except the parents.
What's going to happen is kids will buy blackmarket refilled cartridges or refill their own. I've never used a Juul but it took me 1 minutes on youtube to find out how to refill a empty Juul cartridge.
Most cartridges can be refilled so banning them is really a joke
This ban will only push kids to worse things, that's sad.
The only reason the Feds/state/local government haVE been after vaping is "LOSS OF TAX REVENUE FROM SMOKERS QUITTING". If vaping was taxes as heavy as smoking the Gov. could care less about vape banning.
Hey friends,
So I was just reading some news on my phone and I'm seeing several articles about BANNING FLAVORED EJUICE within 30 days....?
If this happens will none of us have access to flavored EJUICE in stores or online? Will it only be banning flavored ecigs (like juul) ?
Anyone with any info on this topic please let me know.. in my opinion, the tobacco industries lost WAY to much money due to vaping.. and this is their way to get it back. I feel a lot of people would go back to cancer sticks.. we know for sure smoking causes cancer, so why gave they yet to ban cigarettes?
I'm worried for the whole vaping community but I'm still not sure of the accurate details.

Just came across my Twitter feed that Michigan banned flavored e-Cigs
Michigan becomes first state to ban flavored electronic cigarettes, cites dangers of vaping
At first I was not too concerned about a flavor ban because my wife and I use no flavoring and I mix my own... But now Romney and some dude named Jeff have a bill on the floor that includes banning refillable cartridges. That scared the holy bejesus out of me. It sounds like they want all e-cigs to be like the "Mojo" (a disposable closed system).
The frustrating part about this current situation is that all of this seems to have started from some black market THC cartridges, which has absolutely nothing to do with vaping. PG is used in children's asthma medication and nicotine is really not much more dangerous than caffeine, but everyone out there thinks that e-cigarettes are killing people.
I think our first mistake was calling them "e-cigarettes" instead of something like "nicotine delivery device"... The name "e-cigarettes" just causes those that are clueless group them in the same category as cigarettes. Big Tobacco and Big Pharma are probably loving this right now. Smoking kills 450-500k people per year, as far as I know vaping has killed 0, but sure, go ahead and put severe restrictions on vaping. I know it saved my life, 12 years ago I could not manage walking up a flight of stairs, every time I laughed it ended in a coughing fit. Then e-cigs came along and all of that changed.
I wish there was some way to educate the public, especially our government officials.
Someone that I know in real life actually said they heard that e-cigs are more dangerous than analogs.
Here is what happened... Last night I was at a potluck with friends. I dual use so I was by the bonfire smoking a analog. The one woman came and stood by me. Although she quit many many years ago she aid she still likes the smell of a cigarette.
I said that I could switch to my e-cig if the real one was to tempting for her. At which time she replied that she had read/heard that they were worse for you than real cigs.
She was not nasty or rude about it. She just said it matter of fact like. I told her that is not true at all and that is just propaganda.
She then asked why anyone would say that if it was not true? I then explained that e-cigs cut into the profit of BT and pharm co's.
Once I said that it was like a lightbulb went off in her head.
Hopefully we now have one less person believing the lies.
Maybe it's just my lack of knowledge on the matter, due to the fact that I don't care enough to look it up, but based off of the emails that I've received from JUUL over the past few years, it just seems like they don't have an ounce of fight in them.
First it was the banning of all flavored pods, meaning 85% of their product line is just out the window. I was actually surprised they survived as a company after that happened, but I guess the buckets of money they were making before the ban helped out a lot. I know the law is the law, and it's not like they could just continue selling flavored pods, but I just didn't see any push back from them at all on the matter. From my point of view, they just folded and accepted the loss.
I know they've taken other hits after the pod ban, but again, specifics elude me. So, what sparked my interest in making this post was an email they sent out on April 20th of this year that I just now read...
"Final call - order before our online sales pause on April 22nd."
It basically reads something about federal regulatory changes...blah blah blah. So ALL online sales are just gone now. So does JUUL have people in the trenches actually fighting for the vaping community? I just haven't come across much proof, or rumblings in the media about them actually fighting for the many, many, many millions of dollars they have lost out on due to them taking huge L's left and right. I don't even use JUUL products anymore, so if you're wondering why I care so much about the matter, I'm wondering the same myself. It's just odd. I guess the parts of big tobacco who didn't own any shares in the vape industry finally got tired of losing money to it. Anyway. That's a rant.
New York Moves to Ban Flavored E-Cigarettes by Emergency Order
New York Set To Join Michigan In Banning Some E-Cigarettes

Hello fellow vapers.
Here is a topic I was thinking of lately and I wanted to ask your opinion/plans.
Generally speaking, e-cigs were invented in order to help smokers switch from smoking regular cigs to something much less harmful and eventually help people quit this (one of the worst) habit of smoking / adding nicotine to your system.
Ideal plan was to give a smoker something similar (as a process) with enough nicotine to satisfy his needs but without all that sh@t that cigs contain.
After some time this ex-smoker was suppose to start lowering amounts of nicotine in his e-juice up until he is OK with 0 mg. nic vaping.
And eventually quit vaping as well, eliminating the habit.
In reality, I'd say about 80% of ex-smokers who became vapers don't even plan to quit vaping, they have their preferred nic. level and they keep on vaping it year after year being happy about it.
So what's your opinion on that? Do you also plan to keep on vaping or you might quit it in the future?
If people under a certain age are not allowed to purchase vape items, then what's the issue?
Just don't sell to any minors, and handle it like alcohol and tobacco. Go after any stores or vendors that break these rules and that sells to any minor and hit them with hefty fines or prosecution. Problem solved.
I reject the idiotic, false and unscientific argument that certain types of flavors are only suitable for kids. An adult is not allowed to like fruit flavors or desert flavors or any other type of flavor?
Do adults suddenly lose their sense of taste when they age, and they'll be content vaping poor tobacco imitation flavors and menthol for the rest of their lives?
I'm an adult, and my favorite flavors are custard type flavors. Just because I used to smoke, that doesn't mean that I should have to vape and like tobacco flavors. You don't ban all sorts of flavors and deny adults who are ex-smokers the opportunity to continue to be smoke free, just because they were lucky enough to have found and switched to vaping.
Sorry if I sound cynical, but so what if a handful of people have reportedly died because they were foolish enough to use blackmarket counterfeit items? Items that have zero to do with nic based vaping I should add.
How many millions of people die from tobacco related diseases?
Millions is a lot more than a handful last I checked, and the only thing that banning vaping and vaping related items will accomplish is to ensure that many more people will be added to the list of the dead as many will return to cigs and many current cig smokers will never make the switch to vaping, as the politicians seek to deny people the opportunity to stay off of cigs.
If they ever find a cure for cancer, I wouldn't be surprised if they ban that too, because 7 people happened to get some ill side effects from it.
