Ordering A Tank From China..

I don’t know if virus situation has shipping crates stuck in isolation but my packages have been stuck in China for 3 weeks.
Usually packages have left Chinese customs by now.
Anyone else waiting on packages from China?  

I was going to order some stuff from fasttech and saw this on the website.

"Service alert: the ongoing coronavirus spread is placing China under defecto lockdown.
Local labor policy currently prevents staffs from returning to work as scheduled.
Customer service is available with limited capacity at this time as we work from home.
Shipping is now expected to resume normal service on February 10, 2020. More details to follow"


Is anyone worried about ordering from China?  

I do not know if anyone else has posted about this topic, so here is mine. I recently tried to order a new tank and juice from a vendor on Taobao ( big online store in China), and was met with, "search not found", over and over again. I sent a Wechat (Chinese Twitter) to a vendor that I know in another city and was informed that the Chinese government had banned the sale of ALL vaping products. The reason? Well to stop children vaping of course. Apparently there is an epidemic (no pun), of kids stealing their parents credit cards, ordering hardware and juice and then hoping their parents do not intercept the parcels. Forgive me for being incredulous with this regard. So at a hand wave the Country that benefits the most from the vaping industry bans it from their own country! So vapers in the West think yourself lucky that your governments can not just railroad vaping as much as their sponsors would like them to. I am coming up to 11 years of vaping, going to be hard to keep going when a 30ml bottle of juice is Wechat selling for about $25 plus postage. Especially as I can buy a pack of MB red for just over a $. So I wonder how long I will be able to vape as I sip on my Corona V.  

I was sort of counting on them for odds and ends once the FDA rules kick in in May, or if there are laws passed between now and then.... but it looks like they will be shut down:

EDIT: Although the article does say "“There is no law and regulation in China that forbids the online sale of e-cigarette yet,” said Ou Junbiao, head of the Electronic Cigarette Industry Committee of China. "

EDIT #2: vaporl does have a US warehouse too though, although oddly enough the shipping is cheaper from Hong Kong.

Anyone have any idea about the headlines reading the China is encouraging businesses to stop selling e-cigarettes online I can't find anything on whether that pertains to other countries or just within the country... I believe there's been a mandate but there hasn't been any talk of enforcement and I don't really know how things work over there  

I am looking at buying a large ammount of kanthal from lighting vapes. They told me it was China wire but higher quality then most China wire (whatever that means) and assured me it was A1. I am wondering, anyone use lighting vapes specifically. Would go through Temco but the shipping is crazy pricey on E Bay to Canada and way to long otherwise. Lighting Vapes I am looking at 1450ft of varying gauges for 106$ shipped, wire for life-hopefully literally lol, thats a lot a wire. So, is it as good as Temco wire? I really hope it is and doesnt taste disgusting or whatever seeing as I am getting 1000ft of my primary 24/26g and 450ft of 22, 28, 30 and ribbon haha.  

@Pod_Vaper if I understand correctly, I should use this forum for further questions about vendor reviews. I read your review and am interested in more info. I have items I would like to purchase from them and I am a first time buyer.

I do know the virus has caused delays for many China vendors due to a skeleton staff but I am concerned about the "snarky" remark. If it is inappropriate to post publicly would you be kind enough to PM me with the details. I really want to know who I'm dealing with before handing over my money.

That said, they have communicated with me via email almost immediately after my inquiry about partial preorder items. The exchange was professional and timely. Still, I have my concerns according to your experience. Thank you.
