In A Predicament

I have a few dollars invested in vaping (subohm set ups) . I was out town for the past two months working and I ran out of juice and all I had accessible to purchase were those little vype pods and I was quite impressed with the nicotine satisfaction I received from it , but now I'm back home and I've got ample everything I need but I find myself going back to my left over vype pod . So now I'm confused do I need to switch vaping style or equipment ,I don't feel like reinvesting in all new stuff my girlfriend will kill me. Did that happen to anyone else ? How did you handle it? Thank you

Is It Illegal For Companies Like Juul, Stlth, Vype, Etc To Sell Used Pods?

As the question speaks for itself, I’ve run into this scenario a few times specifically with vype. Every now and then, every puff since the first one tastes like a burnt and already used coil. It seems to happen in 1 in every 5 pods or so. Is this just bad luck, or is could it be a possibility they are reusing pods to save money, and if it were the case, would it be considered illegal to sell already used pods?

Bt Is Not Trying To Kill Vaping

Why not?
Simple. Money.

Smoking rates are reducing year after year. The cessation methods vary plus more smokers are dying than new smokers being created. Vaping is a new stream of users to continue sales after cessation.

Next factor is margins. In Toronto Canada, a pack of cigarettes is $10-15 depending on size, brNd and store. BT probably gets no more than $2 of that when you back out retailer markup and insane taxation.

A BT pod, the Vype ( Vuse in the US) sells pods for $6.50 each (2 pack for $13) which does not have several hundred percent excise and sin taxes. Only sales tax which was not added here. BT is probably taking $3-4 of that $6.50.

So why would they kill vaping?

Basic Newbie Questions

Folks, I apologize for the newbie questions but trust me, I've spent a lot of time reading and still have some confusion - partly because I find contradictory information everywhere. I hate when people come on forums asking questions before doing their research but I've tried.

While I've been vaping for over a year, it's been with a Juul. (3rd party pods) My flavored pod horde is about to be exhausted so here I am.

What I'm looking for is something comparable to what my Juul with 3% pods gave me - smoothness (I do NOT want a harsh throat feel like many seem to be after), availability of nice flavors, no need for a lot of nicotine, no need for 'clouds'. I was using the 3% not really because of the lower nicotine but because it wasn't as harsh as the 5-6% pods.

I guess my question is what type juice and coil resistance should I be looking for? I purchased a Smok NFix and like the device but I seem to be getting a tad bit of juice in my mouth regardless of what wattage I set it to. (I've tried multiple .8 Ohm coils and 3mg juice labeled for "subohm" use) I also seem to be getting a lot more nicotine than I'm used to.

I've also tried a Novo 2 and occasionally get that juice in my mouth but not nearly as often. I also seem to be getting a lot more nicotine than I'm used to.

Obviously I'm doing something wrong.

Another thing I'm confused about is the wide range of nicotine strengths - 3% on up to 55+%? I must be missing something because the 3% seems to be killing me, again I must be doing something wrong.

Suggestions for what I should be looking at to find something comparable to the 3% Juul?

Thanks

Njoy Ace Pod, Spit Back.

Not sure where to post this, but some pods have bad spit back. I'm trying to make the switch back. I slipped when my mother died in April(was vaping only for 4-5yr's before that). The device itself was 99cent's at a local store so I grabbed 3 of them. The pods have been so random tho 3/6 where fine in 1 flavor. 2/2 where fine in another, the 3rd flavor was 0/2. Was wonder if other's where having this issue maybe switch to Juul? Before I can get back from mtl to dl with my other mods/rda's/juice.

Back Again

I have been on and off for a few years, mostly off because hubby says the smell of some of my favorite juices is annoying. Well a short stay of me in the hospital changed his mind and he does not seem to mind the vaping as much out of me.

I feel like I looked down for a second and when I looked back up there is all kind of new stuff out there, the aspire esp, eleaf, etc. I switched from the store bought auto to the ego style battery (I always go passthrough) and had gotten up to Kanger t2 and protank for various types of juice. I am a basic person, I might be interested in getting into some of those higher powered mods later (the vapor production looks insane) but I basically want to just throw the tank on a battery and go. I like replacing the atomizers and am not sure I would want to build my own and such. Of the new stuff that has come out since the protank hit (was it a year or so ago?) what would you recommend to a basic vaper? I noticed ALL the ego batteries were out of stock at gotvapes so that got me thinking maybe the ego style battery may be on its way out. I was browsing some other equipment and I was looking at the Kanger IPOW 2 but like I said, I would rather not fiddle and I do want something that is a passthrough as well.

I do realize there is a lot of variability, and the reason the more customization and adjustable stuff has come out is because everyone has different tastes, but I really would like to hear what everyone thinks for getting back into vaping.

Trouble Vaping After 4 Years

Hi all-
I haven't posted in a long while. I am in need of some suggestions as to what could be going in with me all of the sudden with my vaping.

Within the past two months I have a very hard time breathing when vaping. I was just thinking at first that I was getting sick or something. Then, I stopped for a few days completely and I felt better so I started again. The evening of the first day back to vaping, I laid in bed trying to go to sleep feeling like an elephant was sitting on my chest and that my throat was closing up. It was very scary. So scary that I have now been to the pulmonologist as well as the cardiologist (because the chest heaviness was bad). My lungs are clear and heart is in good condition. Soooooo....I went and purchased a ZERO nicotine juice thinking that maybe it was the nicotine. NOPE.....that didn't work either, I have used my e-cig only on the past two Saturdays and it has zero nicotine liquid in it and I still have the same problem after the day of vaping. I feel like I am struggling to breath. It is horrible. It takes a day or so to subside. I really enjoy my vape. I quit analogs on April 9, 2011 and have been vaping every since. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could possibly be? Maybe I should try just VG Juices....would that make a difference? Please help....any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!

Vaping Whilst Unwell/sick

I am doing it right now, I am not too in to menthol flavours but I coincidentally ordered a cherry menthol a couple days back and received it today. And it just so happens that I have the flu for the first time in years!
The menthol is obviously great for clearing mucus and sinuses, but on to the less obvious, when I used to smoke I would have a ciggy regardless of how I felt because I needed one, it always made me feel much worse. Now I wonder if vaping any juice actual has the potential to make you feel better, as I seem to recall reading somewhere than it can kill bacteria in the mouth/throat... Have you ever vaped whilst ill? How did it make you feel? Can it improve symptoms?

Happy vaping!

What's The Reasoning For Vaping 0mg Nic Juice? ... I Don't Get It

I was in a bar / restaurant a couple of days ago and noticed another person vaping (guy looked to be in his late 60s). The guy was using what looked like a non-adjustable EGO style stick battery with what looked like an 'old-school' Kanger T3 clearomizer on top.

I struck up a conversation with him for just a moment and asked him what type of juice he was vaping ... The guy never told me the brand or flavor, but said it was 0mg Nic when I asked him.

That was basically the end of our conversation.

My question to you folks is this .... Why would anyone keep vaping if they had no nicotine in there juice? For me, the reason I vape in the first place is to keep off cigarettes. I am obviously addicted to nicotine, and have replaced the nicotine from cigarettes for the nicotine found in my juice.

If I could wean myself completely off nicotine, I think at that point I would just give up on vaping altogether. Someday I would like to be nicotine free, but for now, I just can't see it in my future.

BTW .... I have not smoked a cigarette for 15 months, but I am still vaping on my fairly strong 16mg Nic DIY juice.

Vype Etank Pro 2

Can anyone help me out with this?

Charging my vype eTank pro 2 and its now constantly showing a red light.

On pressing the button 3 times it flashes red, amber and green and can be used.

On pressing the button 3 times to turn off it flashes twice the colour of how charged it is (red, amber or green) and then it goes back to constant red.

Anyone know what's happened to it?

Any help would be much appreciated

Working At Home = Vaping Up A Storm

Like most of the Planet, I'm stuck at home. Stuck at home and working. At the office, I worked out my stress with coffee...LOTS of coffee with 4 packs of saccharin per cup . Oh, and Swedish Fish gummies, which our organization provides free (in lieu of a pay increase, I believe). When the Planet was normal, I went through about 2 Alto pods (menthol, thank goodness) a week.

Now that my high-stress job is in the comfort of my own home, I'm going through a pod every 2 days, if I'm careful. If the cat keeps jumping up on the keyboard because I'm not giving her my full attention, I can easily go up to 3 pods.

I was, at first, wracked with guilt..."I've lost control...I shouldn't be vaping this much". Then remembered that a) I still have a job b) I'm earning more now (they are, for the duration, allowing overtime), c) I'm saving money on public transport, d) 7-11 has my brand stocked a-plenty on sale -- thank you, RJ Reynolds -- but most importantly, e) I'm not sick.

When the Planet gets back to normal, my vaping habits will get back to normal. In the meantime, I'll enjoy myself. Thanks for reading, I've got to go vape now.
