I am planning to buy the aegis solo mainly for the toughness, external battery and the form factor.I love that design but i mainly want it for mtl vaping as i am from a middle eastern country that uses a type of tobbaco called "midwakh" it basically gives about 50mg nic in 3-5 sec causing a nauseous buzz.I am planning to quit that as im going to canada so i wanted to see if the zennith coils 1.6ohm will fit the ceberus tank,Also will it give me the headrush with 50mg salt.I dont care about clouds all bout thr nicc buzz
I ordered a geekvape Aegis Boost Pod-Mod I read on a site that it is a salt nic device and ordered a kit that had 2 juices that came with it. The juices that came with had the option of 30mg and 50mg. I also ordered a few more juices and replacement coils. Iwith the higher mgs because I smoke and when I don't smoke I have a chew in. After doing some research i seen you can't use that high of mgs in a sub ohm device. The coils it came with are .4 and .6. Did I waste my money or can I use 50mg vape juice with the geekvape aegis boost
Hello, so i have been vaping with this new Aegis mini kit with a cerberus tank that i bought a couple of weeks ago. I have used up the 2 standard coils that were in the box, but for some reason in my country i am not able to find specific coils for aegis mini kits online (I live in Belgium). My question is if there are any other (more available) coils that i could use in my cerberus tank? I don't want to pay like $30 just to have them shipped from the UK to Belgium to be honest as they should be aroun $16 for a 5-pack. I noticed i could get "Geekvape Cerberus coils", would these fit my cerberus tank? Maybe a dumb question but you can't be sure enough.
Thank you in advance!
I used to be one of those who thought the whole dripping thing was dumb.
After getting tired of buying coils for my atlantis, I decided to pop in to the store and pick up my first RDA.
I settled on the dark horse. I watched a short tutorial on youtube and built my first coil at 0.6 ohms.
Safe to say the atlantis and nautilis will go into retirement today.
I have never felt a nic buzz from vaping, but I can actually feel a buzz off this thing : I vape my atlantis at 3mg.
Also I love that I simply have to re wick and drip to try new flavours, and best of all NO MORE BUYING COILS.
It all started as I was bored one day and decided to drop by the local vape shop and see what they had for sell. Silly me I bought a "pod mod" to see what all the fuss with the devices was about.
Enter the mod on the far left. A "pod mod". I don't recall what it cost me but it was small and light and not very expensive and the sales person claimed "it won't leak" so I figured - what the heck, I'll get it and make up some 'salts' juice and try it out.
While it was fairly easy to fill and the sales person was right, it did not leak. It did suffer from a number of 'issues'. Namely dismal output, battery life and juice capacity. Did I mention that the "flap" to get at the microUSB connection for charging was challenging? While I tried to make use of it while I enjoyed my morning coffee after a few weeks of ether running out of juice or battery at just the wrong time I started looking else where. However now that I had 30ml of 50mg juice mixed up I though I'd 'upgrade' my "salts dispenser".
Move to the setup in the middle, a Nautilus mini clone (with aftermarket RBA) and a iStick40. While the RBA is downright painful to build on I left the 1.4 ohm Kanthal build on it and filled the 2ml tank with the 50mg juice. The iStick40 is said to have a 2700mah battery (and optional TC with NI coils). The iSticks have their USB ports on the bottom. So with the tank filled up and the iStick charged up I again went about my business. This setup was a vast improvement over the 'pod mod'. Better (but not great, after all it is a Nautilus mini) output, longer battery life and more juice. It felt good to be able to grab some gear out of my stash and put it to use. The setup did have its downsides, namely the filling of the tank. Tanks of this era are filled by unscrewing the bottom+coil/atomizer out of it and squeezing juice directly into the upside down tank and then screwing it back together. While I had a dozen or more of this style of tank in use in my early vaping days, I've grown accustomed to easy top fill tanks so started thinking that I could do better so back to the stash I looked.
Enter the setup on the right. While the mod itself is fairly new (Dicodes 21700) the tank is a eLeaf "Lemo2" (only slightly newer vintage then the Nautilus). This setup gives me 3.2ml of tank, even higher output, top fill ease, longer battery life and TC of the coil. The three drawbacks of this setup are that its MUCH larger and heavier than the pod mod that I started out with and the only way to get new energy into the mod is swap batteries. Last and importantly (for those that like to use coil wrecking flavors) is that the only way to service the coil is complete disassembly of the entire tank to gain access to the coil. (not much of a worry when vaping pure unflavored juice).
This is the setup I've been using while enjoying my morning cup of coffee though. Just all part of a evolution.
Hello,
I vape since approximatly 2 years.
I think I got a lot of experience (Mods, DIY, etc).
However, I'm still not even able to find my "Sweet Spot".
Between a balance of "Nicotine Buzz" vs "Throat Hit".
For me, I would like to have the "Nicotine Buzz" of the 18mg/24mg.
But, with a small "Throat Hit" of for example 12mg/06mg.
I did notice that Nicotine BOTH strongly give the NicBuzz and Throat Hit.
Even with a 24mg(100%vg on small wattage), the Throat Hit is just too much for me.
I did tests mods, pg/vg, wattage, airflow, drink water, etc etc etc.
I chainvape nearly 10ml/day and since moths I'm killing my Throat.
Is there anyone with the same situation as mine?
Thanks, have a nice day! =)
After taking onboard what everybody told me about not using a 50mg nic salt with a 0.5 coil I switched to 25mg nic salt . I got some new 1.2 coils , it took 3 weeks to get from England , and I don’t like them at all, it completely changes the taste . So back to the 0.5 . So I tried cutting the liquid by 25% with PG ,and it’s ok but not wow . Then I tried mixing the 25 mg salt with 3mg freebase and again it’s ok but not wow . I have used 18 mg liquid with the 0.5 atomiser for yrs so how bad is it using the 25 mg nic salt with the 0.5 coil because that’s the one that I really like .and I don’t feel drunk I feel fine . Thanks John
Good evening all, lately I have my mind set on a sub-ohm tank. Which brings me to the Herakles tank. Does anybody have bought it lately or has had it in the past? Currently its packing a 0.6 and 0.2 ohm coils when you buy the tank. which i had found out its a new update they awarded 2 coils to try each ohm. Anyway, I really can't decide what to do as far as getting the istick50 watt, or finding something better for that price. I was looking at the website "vapenw" Has anybody bought from there? The istick i can get it for $40 and the tank about $30. Which i dont mind since my current set up is the tsunami v power and only payed $40 several months ago. I am rocking 80vg/20pg with my current set up @ 3.8volts. (blue middle setting)
Reason I am asking for help is because I need some guidance on what I should do. I don't want to spend crazy amounts of money. but I am willing to look at other options that will suit my needs. Also I don't want to mess with RDAs and what not. just sub-ohm tanks
Does anybody have the istick50 watt with the Herakles?
Thank you and vape on
Im new to external battery mods but have been vaping for 3 years and I know how to prime a coil with e-juice. I go the extra mile after I prime the coil and let it sit for a minute. Then I fill up the tank put it back together and do not touch it for at least an hour or two just to make sure. I just got my now verified as legit sigelei sobra with the moonshot 120 both of the coils from that taste like those knock off BS eBay fake coils. I started off at a very low wattage and I don't know what's wrong both coils are disgusting. It's not exactly a burnt taste or a dry taste it's like a sour off taste and I can't use them. It also makes me feel like I have something in the back of my throat. What in the heck is going on? Do these coils take awhile to become usable? They're the coils that came with the mod and I verified the mod so I assume the coils are also okay. I even went so far as to try the second coil on a different mod but with the same tank just in case the mod was frying things the very first hit. Can anyone give me an idea of what's going on so I know what I need to do and also if anyone could tell me whether or not the Cascade baby coils will fit in the moonshot 120
I've been away from ECF for awhile but due to the influx of new devices, I recently returned (and got a bunch of new vape gear, but that's another story ).
Was just browsing the New Members forum and I am very disturbed by the amount of posts being made by people who have never smoked asking for advice on how to "blow clouds", "get into vaping" or even "get a better buzz" from vaping.
Of course, the vast majority of replies in these threads are from knowledgeable and helpful ECF'ers telling these poor, ignorant folks that it's probably a bad idea to start vaping 36mg juice in a sub-ohm device if you've never smoked...and that is great!
I just can't help to think that all these young (I'm assuming) non-smokers taking up vaping and "blowing clouds" can't be good for our cause and I find it quite disturbing.
FULL DISCLOSU I currently vape on an SX Mini / Goliath @ .4 ohms and can blow some pretty good clouds, but that's not what it's all about for me...it's about staying off the ciggies.
Any tips on how to get at least a small buzz from vaping????
