Pleeeeze don't post here if you stocked up already or are planning to.
So, what are we non survivalist folks going to do? Planning on finishing your stock and putting vaping aside?? Using just what the govt allows us?
Personally, I have only a few months of nic and coils myself. Not sure what the govt approved list of products looks like or how to purchase.
What are your plans?
I popped in here a few weeks ago for the first time in months. I was shocked to read about the vape shipping ban that is quickly approaching. And I am in panic mode! I’ve just been happily vaping away for 8 years now and was totally oblivious to all this. (I am already stocked up on nicotine and have a lot of learning to do there with mixing my own juice. But that will be future posts) For this post my question is about stocking the batteries I currently use and the shelf life I should expect.
I have used Halo Triton with clearomizers for most of my years vaping (after moving up from G6) and loved them! When I found out they were no longer being produced, and the stock I had on hand ran out, I switched to Kanger eVod Twist VV and am pretty happy with those.
3 years ago I also had to find something similar to my Tritons, but only in auto battery because I was having surgery on both my thumbs and would be unable to use them to press a button on a manual battery. So I came upon the V4L auto Zeus with smilomizers. And I love those also, and continue to use those along with the Kanger eVod.
I know I’m old school, but I would like to use these 2 setups as long as I can before switching to and learning how to use external battery mods. (I am going to purchase and stock up on those within a week or two but that will be another post too! will need help! )
SO my question is…..how long of a shelf life would be expected out of a new Kanger eVod twist and new V4L Zeus batteries? I realize I really have no idea when they were actually manufactured, but if they were with in the last say 8-12 months or so, what kind of shelf life would they still have left? I would like to stock up on some to go a little longer before changing over to mods!
THANKS!
I've never stocked up myself and would like to know about what other people like me are planning. Serious lack of vape shops here in Pa also. They probably are planning on jacking their prices up now I imagine.
Anyone quitting?
It's been a while since I've needed to purchase new vape gear, but I lost my favorite squonk mod today. Naturally, the one I lost is no longer available.... so, I decided to order a V2 model of the same mod. Vandy doesn't offer the frosted green mod, so I had to settle with a red one. Anyway, they use to offer the mod as a kit (w/RDA BF) but no longer. I went to purchase one that would match the incoming mods, but no one seems to have anything in stock? Is there any reason for this, other than popularity? Seems odd...
Hello,
After vaping (sub-ohm) quite heavily for many years, I think it's time to quit that and switch back to MTL now.
What's the best/cheap MTL tank, affordable higher stock Ohms coils that use less liquid? I'll up my nic content to 12mg.
Thank you.
*I posted this in the Aspire Forums, but wanted to get some Feedback from my fellow ECF members*
Hi,
I bought a Aspire Nautilus Mini Premium Starter kit that came with the 1000mah VV+ battery a few months ago. It came with a 5 pack of 1.8 Ohm BVC coils. I have since bought 3, 5 packs of coils from 101Vape. They have all worked great, but 101Vape has ran out of stock.
I bought 2, 5 packs of 1.8 Ohm BVC coils from WORLDofVAPE. They came in the mail today and they also work (better) great, but they are not physically the same. They have the same markings and threading and post, but the wicking holes are 3 times larger. They are not in the middle, but run along the top of the threading. They say Aspire BVC 1.8 (3.3-6.0) CE and have the trash can picture on them. The packaging is exactly as the first 3 sets of 5 packs I have bought (including the pack that came with the kit). I have checked every security code and they all come back genuine.
Why do the BVC coils from World of Vape have larger intake holes on them? Are these a newer improved design? Did you start using different equipment or specifications to produce the BVC? Are these a different coil meant for a different tank? I would really like to know so that I can order the exact ones again in the future as I don't know when World of Vape will run out of stock. Any feedback would be great!
Hello! All!
I hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy.
QUESTION? I have been buying Geek Vape products for a little over a year. For the past 10-12 weeks, I have been having a hard time in finding coils, tanks and Vaping devices. I went on 10 different websites and they are all out of stock. Does anyone know if there is a problem with Geek Vape or if the problem is for other companies or products coming to the USA.
Thanks,
Dale
I remember seeing a few threads some time back saying that ultrasonic cleaners are awesome for almost unlimited use of stock coil heads. My question is, why hasn't this gotten more popular with the advent of expensive coils? Does it not work as well? I'm curious. I might pick one up if it's awesome for stock coils. It'll pay for itself in 2 packs of coils. Thoughts?
Hello vapers! first! I'm a noob at this stuff because I just buy my tank and use it with the coils it comes with and second, my english isnt that good but I can understand it perfectly fine.
Anyway, Ive been searching everywhere but I couldnt find a solid answer to my question.
Im using an Aerotank Giant right now with a 1.8 ohm coil, if I put a 1.2 ohm I would have to use less voltage because I get a burnt taste and the coil burns pretty quick, Im about to order a Sub ohm tank soon and I'll use the stock coils, the one im getting is the Kangertech SubOhm tank.
Why do subohm coils use more voltage when normal coils use less?
I mean, Ive seen people do things like 0.2 ohm coil @ 100W + If I did anything over 3.5V on my 1.2 ohm coil itd burn instantly... SubOhm takes more voltage the lower you go and normal dual coils take less voltage the lower you go!
1.9 Ohm Dual coil = 3.7-3.8V for me
0.5 ohm OOC subtank sub ohm coil = 12-30W?!
Thanks in advance for taking the time to reply to this post and your patience!
Cheers!
Edit: by the way, Im planning to use my subtank with a 50/50 PG/VG 16mg nicotine, Is that ok?
I've yet to buy a VW mod but i will be soon. However the outcome of this thread will dictate which one i go for.
Ive been looking at a few:
MVP 3 Pro (60w mod)
Itaste 50w mod
Coolfire 4 40w mod
Kanger Subbox Mini
For arguments sake lets say you have a 0.5ohm stock coil in an Isub G tank on the Istick 50w. You also have a 2ohm stock coil for it.
The mod is capable of supplying 50w to both the 0.5 ohm coil and the 2ohm coil. 50w is 50w right? So what, if any, is the benefit of putting a sub ohm coil in the VW mod?
The manufacturers market them as sub ohm mods, but why go sub ohm if the device is capable of the same wattage on a 1+ohm coil, the experience would be the same?
Which leads me to a similar question. Would any VW mod from say 30w capable to 60w capable basically give the exact same experience for the majority of users assuming the same tank is fitted?
I'm quite new to this but i hope my question is understandable
Thanks
I know the Provari still has a huge following, but what about the Darwin? I own 4 Provari's, but never did have the Darwin. I just checked nhalers website and it's still 'out of stock' lol. Its been out of stock for years, haha. Are they even still being made/sold? I'd like to buy one for the collection just for keepsake if nothing else.
If you use one or have one, post pics!
