I still remember better times, when I would open a "General Discussion" forum and see only today's posts. Yesterday's posts I could find only at the bottom of the second page. What I see now? Only ten (10!) threads are recent. And at the end of the first (FIRST!) page I see 3 threads that are four (4!) days old. Sad, isn't it? I loved ECF...
I've observed various threads being moved here and there shortly after being posted. I've posted stuff in specific locations and waited for ever for an answer, if at all. Kinda afraid to post anything without looking for a specific section. So,my question is: What is considered General Vaping Discussion. Not trying to make wise, but if you have a question you need answered ASAP, I would think that more exposure would render more responses. I gotta wonder how many folks really monitor the more remote categories.
Don't get me wrong...I love ECF, and in my early days, pulled me through a couple of tough spots.
Given some of the discussions in other threads that have taken over the original posters reason for the discussion and purpose of that thread . . . AND - Although there are other threads already having this type of discussion/discourse that people ignore or pass on (Don't really know their reasons why they refuse to post there where the same discussion is happening) . . . SO - This thread is only being created to hopefully move the ongoing disruptive conversation in other threads and have a specific thread opened for that discussion - instead of having it spread through-out so many other threads - in effect changing the main topic of discussion and why People are there in the first place . . .
This threads main purpose is to discuss and/or further debate - of course following ECF (This is NOT "OUTSIDE") - these personal opinions and commentaries . . .
SO - What is it that you perceive is going to happen - once Deeming Regulations, Federal, State, an even Local laws/restrictions are passed (or already have been passed) . . . AND - Are actually finally enacted . . .
The Government Does Nothing - Only the present Rules & Regulations go into effect, People over 21 will still be able to continue to purchase vape products (maybe with some limitations), Vape in their home/cars/designate areas out in public . . . Will there be current or even more - Grey Market - Black Market . . . Will there be Police Raids (both on commercial venues/private homes) - Products Seized by Customs - Arrest made for "Vaping" in public and or for distribution when sharing with others/passing along equipment/e-liquids, etc. to Family & Friends - Or for "Vaping" while driving . . .
OKAY - If Ya' got something to say or an opinion or better yet actual FACTS to share - here is the thread to do it . . .
JUST REMEMBER - This thread is NOT "OUTSIDE" and Civility is a MUST for everyone - NO, Matter what your personal views are . . .
Have Fun. . . .
EDIT: BTW - I have absolutely no intentions on participating in this discussion/discourse - nor provide any personal insights/opinions/feelings about this subject - this thread is here to allow everyone else a place to do so and keep it out of other on going threads that have nothing to do with future conjecture/s of their personal perceived opinions of "What Is Going to Happen" . . . Just Sayin' . . .

hi all,
i have been reading this forum every day for more than a year.
after some time i have come to the conclusion that some types of posts
are not necessarily what they see to be.
specifically posts in the new vaper forum where a poster claiming to be
new to vaping goes on and on extolling the virtues of their obviously advanced
set ups and the juice they use and on the other hand supposed new vapers
trashing the same or mostly the same set ups and juice.
i am beginning to think that most of these type posts are thinly veiled endorsements
or deliberate trashing of said set ups and or juice and have nothing to do with
the "new to vaping vapers" actual experience.
what do you good people think?,or is it tinfoil time?
regards
mike
I've been away from ECF for awhile but due to the influx of new devices, I recently returned (and got a bunch of new vape gear, but that's another story ).
Was just browsing the New Members forum and I am very disturbed by the amount of posts being made by people who have never smoked asking for advice on how to "blow clouds", "get into vaping" or even "get a better buzz" from vaping.
Of course, the vast majority of replies in these threads are from knowledgeable and helpful ECF'ers telling these poor, ignorant folks that it's probably a bad idea to start vaping 36mg juice in a sub-ohm device if you've never smoked...and that is great!
I just can't help to think that all these young (I'm assuming) non-smokers taking up vaping and "blowing clouds" can't be good for our cause and I find it quite disturbing.
FULL DISCLOSU I currently vape on an SX Mini / Goliath @ .4 ohms and can blow some pretty good clouds, but that's not what it's all about for me...it's about staying off the ciggies.
I've been a wondering how much time some members spend on this forum and why? and do you think you're hooked?
Also, some (relatively) new members have already achieved over a 1,000 posts in a few weeks!!!!!!!!!
I figure it is a terrific place to grow your knowledge and (at the same time) help new members/vapors by answering their questions; but is there an issue here regarding 'status' or else something more elusive.......
My family think I spend too much time on it but my average posts are only around 2 posts a day, granted, mostly accumulated in the last few months.
What's your take on it?
So just recently I was going about my business scrolling through my Facebook news feed(my first mistake) when I came across an album someone had shared to a close friend of mine's page. The photos consisted of a mech mod, several shots of a man with a severely burnt tongue/palate, and a status that read, "Our good friend Travis N-------- has asked us to help spread the word. A vapor smoker or, e-cig, exploded while he was using it.". How many more of these cases are we going to have before certain individuals realize we can't just sling out unregulated devices to every joe shmoe that walks into a shop? I'm tired of seeing posts generalizing e-cigarettes as inevitable pipe bombs because said individuals are too lazy to inform someone on the device they are investing in. Here's an idea, how about instead of trying to make 50 measly dollars you sit down with your customer and explain the dangers of unregulated devices and how they can be avoided? Oh god forbid you actually having to work a little for your money while at the same time preventing a potential disaster... I hope this post doesn't seem like I am accusing this forum of anything, but if I can reach at least one ignorant person then that is one less potential explosion I have to see/hear about. Pictures will be uploaded to a third party image hosting site to conceal the identities of those involved.

On Facebook there is a proud stance taken by vaporers at the moment, on the
FDA Facebook page, under their smoking post.
Use above hashtag.
There have been over 3500 posts with the above hashtag in about 7 hours time.
Take a stand!

Is not that much time ago that I joined this community in a desperate attempt to find out what was wrong with my "just bought e-go starter kit" cause I was getting burn taste, just to find out that I purchased a cheap e-go battery with some cheap ce4 tank, and discovered that this was gonna be a journey to success, I'm still probably in the same page but just with a little twist of knowledge (not much btw) but thanks to the ppl in this forum I decided to keep going up, today just wanted to share some of my journey (still in progress) and show some pictures of my evolution...
Hope you like it
My Cheap Starter Kit
My Next step
Then a little upgrade
And today's addition...
Thank you to all who helped me... Now is time to read some Ohm Laws and jump to the next!

At 250 for a kit, are we seeing the end of provari? That name has been on this forum day and night for years, but really, custom box mods and high end mechanicals coming in at half the price, OR LESS? Do I hear a death rattle from the provari giant? Any long term member here has seen "get a provari" a thousand times, but those posts are fading into the locked section at a fast rate. Is anyone even considering one anymore? I'm not, and I used to want one more than any vape on the market.
So I've seen some of the posts about Fasttech being overwhelmingly slow. Placed 2 seperate orders from 3F and was shocked to see that they both arrived at LAX and cleared customs in 2 days. Problem is that now they are stuck in Compton, CA and have not moved . One package there for five days and the other for only a day.
17Track shows last three events as "Received ", "Encoded" and finally "DN Send". USPS tracking shows "Label created awaiting package".
Anybody know what this means and when I should expect some movement again and the hand off to USPS.
Kind of frustrating knowing my goodies are an 8 hour drive away and just sitting in a pile somewhere lol! VAPETEASE!
