Share You're Go-to Everything!

Hi guys!

I'm genuinely curious what all you beautiful ECF members have ultimately figured out to be your general all-around favorite vape configurations that you've figured out. I know we all have different tastes and preferences, I just think it would be cool to see what others have settled on to be their ideal daily vape.

So share that yoda-like wisdom that you've discovered so far! I guess to guide in a general direction I mean you're favorite:
-toppers
-mods (or battery power)
-coils & wicks
-settings (wattage, temperature, volts, ohms, regulated/unregulated, whatever's pertinent)
-Favorite E-liquid(s)
-Anything else for the setup you go to work with, sleep with, wake up with ETC.

I think we could all learn from each-other by sharing the cream of our crops per se! And if you have pics, post'em if you got'em!!!

Favorite Rda/sub-ohm Build???

Hey guys. I have been in the vaping scene for a little while now. Just curious to what everyone likes to sub-ohm with.

My favorites so far.

Mutation X V3- 24 gauge dual parallel 5/6 wrap
Mutation X V4- 20 gauge dual 5/6 wrap or dual 6/7 wrap
Turbo RDA- both of the above builds work well

I've had the dark horse, doge and doge v2, freakshow, and a few other RDA's and the 3 above have been my favorite....v3 was my favorite for a while until I tried the v4, its now my favorite, and its a tie between the v3 and turbo for 2nd and 3rd place.

What Is Your Favorite Disposable Vape?

So, I want to try out these new disposable vape things. They seem to be catching on like wild fire. I mean I guess the prices have come down a lot. I see you can get these things for the cost of a pod coil replacement.

Do you vape on a Disposable? If so which one is your favorite? Please send along some recommendations.

Time For A New Box Mod - But What To Get?

Alright, it's been a while since I've been on ECF, so I figured since I've got a reason to post - I will. My 150w box mod shorted out my batteries, and the firing button and + button broke so now they're loose and disconnected. I figured since the warranty is still valid I'd exchange it or get my money back. But note I will NOT order from fasttech or anything that'll have me waiting a month for my purchase to get here. My budget is $70/usd, so I know my options are a bit slim. But here's my average vape set up: usually under 50 watts, but I'd prefer at least 60 watts+ on my device (I'd be willing to go with a 30 watt, but it'd have to be amazing for me to consider it). Coils on my RDA were usually under 1.0ohm (.2ohms-.8ohms) I HATE built in batteries so something I could use my 18650's in would be ideal (preferably dual 18650 but I'm willing to compromise), mechanical box mods sketch me out so I'd rather not get one of those. I don't care about the brand, as long as it's reliable, fits my budget and most of my preferences. Now that you have a base, lay it on me. What do you think would be a good new mod for me? I'm willing to compromise, but not by much. Thanks guys, I appreciate any suggestions.

Anyone Have A Favorite Device Of All Time?

Mine is easily the kayfun prime. I’ve tried so many different devices but I always come back to that one. Not sure about my favorite mod, I’ll have to think about that one. I’d like to hear from you guys, what’s the absolute best piece of vape gear?

Pg Vs Vg = What Ohms For Which In A Kanger Evod Tank

I haven't seen this discussed yet, so I figured I'd announce my discovery:

I use a Kanger EVOD single coil tank, and a non variable voltage eGo style Kanger battery.

When I vape PG, it tastes like a grandma ultra light if I don't use a 1.8ohm coil.

But these 1.8ohm coils burn out instantaneously if I put VG in.

To vape the thicker VG, the 2.5ohm coils work wonderfully.

Can I Get Some Help Getting Setup Please?

Haven't vaped in like 8 years? So most of everything is new to me now..
But I did a little reading and I figured out a few things I need in a vape, but really there is so much, it's kinda hard to know what is good and what is not for brands and styles, so I'm hoping I can get some help by experienced vapers here.

I'm looking to quit smoking and here's what I'm looking for in a vape setup.

MTL Mouth to Lung setup so I can draw in and then inhale like a cigarette, but I would like a decent cloud. Not looking for huge, just good and maybe be able to slightly adjust what gets produced with using only 50/50 juice blends.

RTA setup? I need a rebuildable coil tank system.
I need to keep my maintenance cost low, so I need to be able to rebuild new coils.

No leak tank is a must. Needs to lay down on side on table and keep in pocket.

1 battery or 2. Doesn't matter much.

Would like a smaller mouthpiece compared to the larger style so I can get a good MTL draw.

Not sure what my options are for tanks and box mods or pen style? I think I need some kind of box mod? So i can slightly fine tune watts, volts to my coils if it just doesn't feel right and needs minor adjustments? Also like the option showing how many seconds used or draws.

There's so many tanks out there, but it's hard to tell what is really good.
The battery side, I really have no idea what I would need... watts, ohms, voltage.. with all the combinations, I can figure out what I really need..

Not looking to just be easy simple. I want good quality and I can only buy once.. I can't really afford it as it is, but I need to stop smoking..
But I want to buy once and be good for long time and not wish I bought something else. I just don't have the money to play around like that..

So I hope I can get some help here or suggestions to get me looking in the right direction for tank and battery side system.

Quality brands?
Brands to pass on because there is better options?

The 8th Annual Unofficial Equipment Of The Year Poll

Here we go again ....
The basic idea behind this poll is everyone who participates is asked to name their favorite Mod (Power Source) and attachment (Juice Burner). This year I will be adding a third category for Pods.
Please limit yourself, if you can, to one or two of each. These are supposed to be your Favorite Set-Up.
Pictures are welcome !

For me personally, it's the REOS Grand with the RM2 Rebuildable Atomizer. My nail beaters have over six years and 500,000 miles in the dashboard of tractor trailers, and are still preforming well.

In the last year or so, I've also taken a liking to the Vapefly Galaxies, with the squonk pin.

Please feel free to discuss and/ or show off your favorite mods. I will be running a weekly tally, and together maybe we can help someone find their next great vaping gear !

Dna 250c Discussion.

Hey vapers.

Wanted to start a thread for discussing the DNA 250c chip, all of its features, options, performance, etc.

I started this threat to not only begin a discussion about the DNA 250c chip, but to also share something with new users that may prolong the life of their batteries.

With battery life, I mean the number of charge cycles it'll take before noticeable decline in performance, and general battery health. My advice of setting the cutoff voltage higher will shorten actual run time.

I've noticed that 'out of the box' the DNA 250c is set to soft cutoff the battery at 2.75 volts.
This results in a 3.00 volt reading on my charger when I get the batteries out.

This, in the opinion of many, is too low for batteries to go, and especially to remain there for any length of time.

So, I want to share with you how to change the settings so that your mod will cease using the battery at 3.1 volts, which results in your battery resting at a healthier 3.35 volts.

Here's how :

Click the image for a larger view.

Basically, in Escribe, go to Options, then User Interface, then Advanced. Select Mod tab, and then Battery tab. There you will see the 2.75 volt setting, and you should change that to 3.1 volts. Upload setting to device, and you're done.

The DNA 250c comes with a wide array of options and customized performance.

I'd love for people to chime in and share their tips and expertise with Escribe and the DNA 250c chip.

So let's hear t !

P.S. When will Evolv update Escribe to list 21700 batteries ?

There Can Be Only One!

If the vape police came and confiscated all you vape gear what mod and atty would you hide so you could keep vaping? You can only have one setup so what would it be? Mine would be my SQ 217/Reckoning setup. It's not my favorite but it's the one I use the most.
