Hi guys,
Is it really normal for an atomizer to get hot especially when using dual coils?
I just created a dual coil a couple of minutes ago using 24 gauge kanthal wire, 10 wraps each on a 2.4mm precision screw driver. My meter shows that the resistance is at 0.4 ohms, being curious and all since this is the first time that I made a dual coil, i decided to test it out.
Got some good flavor and vapor, though the vapor is warmer than I would want it to be ( I prefer cold vapor)
After taking a couple of 5 secs drag, I notice that my atomizer became hot, not warm, but hot. Is this something that I should be concerned about? I am doing something wrong or have I done something wrong when creating my coils?
Please help.
Here are some pictures of my device and atomizer. ( Philbox wood mod running on 2 pcs of AWT 18650 2600mah battery, my atty is Haze by vapehead origins)
Hi guys. Can I use my INR 18650 Samsung 20A battery with a .5 coil and try out 50 watts? I have a new mod.I have looked through the titles and searched all day but don't exactly know what I need in terms of battery. I don't even know how to use the calculators properly. Can someone direct me to some info which would help me. Thanks
I purchased a Vaporesso Swag II.
It comes with two coils. One of them is a
0.15ohm GT4 Meshed Coil - rated for 50-75W, best 60-70W
I liked how it tastes.
The Swag uses one battery only.
Is it safe to use Samsung 30Q 15A batteries and run the Swag at 65W?
If not, what battery would your recommend in order to use it safely at that wattage?
I’m asking because I have always considered the “rule”: maximum W = 3XA
So, I know that the Sony VTC batteries were the like "Go-to" battery. But they are being faked a lot and are hard to come by some authentic ones.
So whats the next best option?
I have a few different batteries and I definitely can tell the difference in the quality of the hit, and the life of the battery.
I have a red IMR 2000 mAh 18650 and it hits the worst out of all of my batteries.
Then I have a blue samsung battery (Can't really read the writing) but I can see it says 25r on it. This one hits decent.
Then I have a green 2600 mAh battery. Its a beast. Hits like a champ and lasts long. I would like to find a similar battery to this one. Im guessing this is the Sony VTC 5.
I really want to find something that is just as good as the Green one.
Does anyone know where to find these or a similar battery that is 2600mAh 30 amp? If so, are there any deals going on online where I could get a good price? Id like to order some new batteries.
Thanks for the help all!
Edit. One more question. Anyone know the difference between the Amps on each of the batteries? Just from guessing id say the red is 20 amps, blue is 25, and the green is 30? Does that sound right?
About time too. Tired of these ugly oversized boxed

Hi
I'm using Samsung 21700 T40 batteries.
Trying to figure out..
Is it best to charge a battery when it's discharged or nearly discharged?
I like to keep things simple with a routine of charging once a day, but then the battery will be set to charge even when there's 15-30% power left.
Is that bad for the battery?
Hey guys, I just need your opinion. I been dripping with my Plum Veil and Smok-e mod and i just find it inconvenient to drip while at work. So i wanted to use a tank with my mechanical mod. I went to a shop and they sold me a Herakles tank that came with a .6 oHm and .2 oHm coil and a MXJO battery. They recommend me to use the .2 ohm coil for better result. Will that be safe to run .2 ohm with this battery?
Battery specs : 3.7V 2500mah 35A.
I ordered a SXmini SL class with the sx485j chip and it recommends a 35a battery. I only use .15ohm coils at 60 watts so I should be good with a samsung 18650-35E right? Going to buy 21700 batteries once these start losing their charge because I just got them recently..
Hi
I'm usually vaping at just 14 watt (mouth to lung, nothing heavy).
Now I'm soon getting a new mod that takes 21700 batteries, so I'm searching for the best batteries without spending too much or too little.
(aiming for Samsung, LG or Sony, to be safe)
I see some batteries hold 5000 mah, like the Samsung 50E (cyan).
But it only has about 10 amp discharge rate.
So less than half than "regular" 4000 mah batteries for example.
Is 10 amp more than enough for vaping at just 14 watts, or should I find a more "high-drain" battery?
I want to be safe and avoid risks or heat.
