Problem
You've screwed your new atomizer into your mod. It's all the way in and works, but the atomizer wobbles.
Why? - Because the positive 510 connector is too long, meaning that only the front part of the negative threading is engaged.
Solution
A shim.
shim
/ʃɪm/
noun
a washer or thin strip of material used to align parts, make them fit, or reduce wear.
Cut a disk the same size as the base of the atomizer, put a hole in it's center slightly larger than the 510 on your atomizer. Slip this over the atomizer 510 and screw it into the mod, wobble gone.
The thickness of the shim will need to match your application. If it's too thick the 510 may not reach the positive pin and no juice will flow.
I initially used a credit card which was too thick (1mm), the positive pin didn't connect. I then used a playing card (0.5mm) and this was spot on.
Why? - The base of the atomizer is now supported, so the free play on the pin does not matter.

Hello,
So I recently bought an "Aspire NX30 kit" and I set everything up, I poured menthol E-liquid into the atomizer, and for some reason it doesn't taste the best. I can feel the menthol taste but I feel some burning taste too. The product and also the atomizer is brand new. Some of my friends said that the atomizer is trash, but I can't believe that a brand new atomizer is completely unusable.
Does anyone having/had this problem? What should I really do?
Thanks a lot
Have a good day.
I don't know if anyone has issues with their protank 2 but I hear a lot more negative than positive on them. I was messing with one of those bootleg ones and I couldn't figure out why it kept on leaking. Now just yesterday a friend gave me his protank 2 and Im guessing it was because he was tired of it leaking. When I first took it apart I took all the pieces off and connected them all again one by one making sure it was air tight as I added each piece. Everything was air tight until I got to the coil. I was taking a drag off it and it immediately started leaking and I was like why the heck does it do that? I noticed that it was leaking from between the coil and atomizer where the two little airholes are. What I did to fix this was take an old coil and gently pull off the little silicone ring (above where it says the ohms and below the wick) then I dropped it into where the coil meets the atomizer. After I just screwed in my coil and it works perfectly. No leaking whats so ever! Very good cloud production so far I recommend trying this if you have one. Sorry if someone already wrote this but I did a lot of looking around and never found an answer. Also didnt know where to post this so I apologize if this is the wrong section.
I saw somewhere on this forum that you can use a beauty ring as a catch cup for RDA, so I bought those: Deck Beauty Ring for Entheon RDA Atomizer (5-Pack): FastTech Forums
Problem is that my atomizer doesn't screw completely and my vaporizer doesn't detect the atomizer so it doesn't work.
I don't really need it as it doesn't happen often that I over drip but it happens sometimes. Is there something I can do about this problem?
I haven't been having much luck with the two egrips I ordered. The first had broken plastic on the inside (little bits of plastic were caught in the threads, and had probably fallen into the tank). Number one is on its way back to the vendor.
On number 2, the atomizer base won't sit flush with the bottom of the device, and I think it's causing all the gurgling and leaking (e juice was also leaking out of the bottom of the device). I tried taking off the atomizer head and reseating it, and that didn't work. I'm hoping a new base might fix this problem. Any ideas?
Both devices are brand new. When I ordered the first one, I wasn't aware that it was available in a wood finish, so I ordered the second one.
Hi guys,
Is it really normal for an atomizer to get hot especially when using dual coils?
I just created a dual coil a couple of minutes ago using 24 gauge kanthal wire, 10 wraps each on a 2.4mm precision screw driver. My meter shows that the resistance is at 0.4 ohms, being curious and all since this is the first time that I made a dual coil, i decided to test it out.
Got some good flavor and vapor, though the vapor is warmer than I would want it to be ( I prefer cold vapor)
After taking a couple of 5 secs drag, I notice that my atomizer became hot, not warm, but hot. Is this something that I should be concerned about? I am doing something wrong or have I done something wrong when creating my coils?
Please help.
Here are some pictures of my device and atomizer. ( Philbox wood mod running on 2 pcs of AWT 18650 2600mah battery, my atty is Haze by vapehead origins)
hello all, new user of the joytech ego one. I am loving it. I was just wondering about how long most users get out of the 1.0 atomizer, before it needs to be replaced?
Many thx

I know a lot of you are thinking "what the heck is wrong with this guy?" but just wait for it. I just realized (actually, remembered) that Dokha, the super strong, one hit tobacco I'm always looking to vaporize instead of smoke, is actually sold in a moist (probably VG) form used to boost shisha blends.
This means it can be vaporized in an atomizer and produce pretty decent clouds without combusting, kinda like wax, right? What are the chances that this might actually burn in an atomizer who's temperature is well below the combustion point?
This is what it looks like (the dark stuff).
