All this talk about the old days of ECF got me to wondering if I could find my old avatar. It's still out there. Here it is, and as you can see it no longer suits me. I out grew her but still fondly remember her.
So why don't some of us old-timers reminisce a little bit about how it used to be....
--I remember when new members would be struggling constantly trying to find the path to a satisfying vape
--I remember when the 510 came on the scene, with a somewhat lower resistance atomizer, and new vapers started having increased success
--I remember when 510 cartridge mods were all the rage, as folks kept trying to find a good way to continue getting those consistently good vapes
--I remember when the KR808D came on the scene, and cartomizers started pushing new vaper success rates even higher
--I remember the ensuing 510 vs KR808D wars
--I remember the Boge Cartomizers for the 510 models that may well have turned the tide towards 510 models
--I remember when low-resistance (LR) atomizers came on the scene and the ability to vary your "power" became a reality
--I remember the FDA court case, and the formation of CASAA from members on this very forum
--I remember when CASAA started working closely with long-time harm-reduction advocates, thus giving long-time THR advocates new life and consumer backing
--I remember when the Chuck came out with custom graphics
--I remember the Chuck vs Silver Bullet wars
--I remember when the Reo Mods came out, and took dripping to a whole new level
--I remember when Egos came out and new vaper success started to skyrocket
--I remember the Buzz, which if I remember correctly, started the variable voltage revolution
--I remember when the Provari came out and started the variable voltage wars
--I remember when the Nhaler came out with the Darwin and started the variable wattage vs variable voltage wars
And I look at that the New Members sub-forum these days, and find very few struggling at first vape anymore.
Success, now, is nearly guaranteed.
That's progress.
What do you all remember?
Some of y'all may remember me, some not so fondly, but that's okay. I used to be a very frequent and outspoken contributor here.
I haven't posted in awhile. Mainly because I fell off the wagon big time after 5 years of vaping and felt like a hypocrite posting on these forums.
I've tried new vaping products in the interim and just haven't been able to stay away from the cancer sticks.
That changed for me yesterday after trying the Iqos device.
I tried one, bought one and haven't had an analog since.
For those wondering about these, especially those who are looking for that missing something with nicotine salts, WTA etc, give these a try.
They are basically a miniature dry herb vaporizer for tobacco.
You get that same instant rush from a cigarette, those same missing chemicals, and a very similar hand and mouth feel.
No harshness or coughing like from vaping either. And the taste is PHENOMENAL. I'm not a fan of tobacco flavors....have never smoked for the taste.... but this is the fullest, cleanest tobacco flavor I've ever experienced.
And the best part is, since nothing is burning like a cigarette, there's a big reduction in tar and harmful chemicals.
I will try to post a video review in the next few days if anyone is interested.
This is a game changer for me, even bigger than that first kr808 I tried over a decade ago....and if keeps someone else off of cigarettes, I think it's worth posting here
ever since the discussion about the potential risk of using atlantis stock heads, there was talk of convincing Aspire to use cotton instead. has anyone heard any developments on this topic?
i myself only use rebuildables, but my brother does not and i bought him an atlantis for xmas, before i had found out about the potential health risks. told him not to buy any replacement heads until the cotton ones come out. but WILL the cotton ones come out? i tend to think so, so they could compete with Kanger.
i know a lot of people sent messages to aspire but can no longer find that discussion, so here goes. anyone heard anything?

As you can see, this application seems to be France geared (oriented). It's only because i'm french and it's more easier to find informations / partnerships in my language. Moreover i dont know what are the (US - EN) references in the ecig field.
But don't worry this application is developped to be international. It's really easy for me to add a new data provider (new address list in geolocation, new good deals provider, for example). Feel free to contact me for this or help me to find contacts !

I don't remember ordering it but somehow I did. Is it a decent vape? Should I keep it and if so should I use it or keep it for the vapepocalypse? Or just find someone who want's it? Sorry for bugging y'all but since I don't remember buying it I don't know if it's any good. Thanks for any help!
I have been vaping for 4 years now. I am using the baby beast tank. I have 3 of them.
I have never used anything else because,, well, it works fine for me. My problem is that I am having a hard time finding coils. I used to by clone coils on ebay for dirt cheap. There are no longer any coils on ebay. I cant find any coils online. They are either out of stock; or very expensive. What do people do nowadays? Do people still use the baby beast or has everyone
changed to something cheaper/better? I always use Q2 .4 Ohm coils. I only found 1 place online that has them and they are $20 for 5 of them (including shipping). What would you guys do? I was so happy with the clone coils. They were inconsistent but cheap. Some would last 3 days and some would last 10 days; but for $1.35/each I was happy.
Thank you for any advice you can give.
MrElder
I only seem to be getting around 6 days with these coils I use 2 mls a day with my mini nautilus. They start to gurgle and just not work properly. Would of thought they would last a bit longer as they are quite expensive. Anyone else have the same problem ?
I just found about a hundred of these. Charged up an EGO and tried one out. Hard to believe I actually quit smoking cigarettes with these? What do you still have from the old days?

Are items coming from FastTech taking longer to be scanned in as having arrived in the United States? I saw on my app that it left China on the 16th of March and it hasn't been scanned into the United States yet usually FastTech takes two weeks to get to my house. So I'm just wondering is that normal for right now is it taking longer for the United States actually scan things in?
Want that new gear, but have 1000 other mods you haven't used yet?
Looks great on paper but just not sure.
So, well let's talk about it.
We can talk you out of it, or into it if that's you're need. We can save money or spend yours.
