Nic Salts And Dl Hits?

I’ve been away from vaping for about 7 yrs. I don’t have any of my old equipment, which now I miss very much. I’ve been trying to get back to vaping for health reasons, and having to learn all over again. Everything is dual coil. I NEVER used dual coil, but I’m trying to learn. I got a Vaporesso PM40, a Drag S a hcigar vt inbox and a POS squonker that I’m using for a dripper (reviews said they leak and short out causing me to fire by their self. I joy cappo squonk box).
Do I figure dual coil watts and amps like I did my single coil builds. I never got into the low sub-ohm thing. Maybe 0.9-1 ohm.
It’s good to be back in ECF again.  

It’s been a day and half with out cigarettes, and I have quit multiple times before using sub ohm setups and a salt nic device. I have multiple of both. This time though... all I can think about is having one cigarette... how do I get this urge to go away? To not want to have one.. I’ve been vaping my a** off but i’m starting to smell them and they smell like s*** I’ll say that. Everyone around me smokes so it’s just kind of hard to this time I guess... my whole family smokes, my parents, my friends , I have a couple that vape but I don’t see them that much. Idk, just wanted to see what made it easy for everyone to finally quit. Thanks!  

Hey all, I’m looking to find some more good salt nicotine eliquids to vape on. I’m currently using the Think Vape Zeta AIO with the RBA for MTL. The salt nicotine eliquids I currently use are Ultimate Salts, Viking Vapes eliquid and TRASH candy salts at 10-20mg nic strength in 10ml bottles. I was wondering if there are any other brands to look out for here in the UK. I can’t get hold of any US salt nicotine eliquids cause of our TPD so I can’t get my hands on 30ml bottles that are 20mg+  

I got a great number of responses on my last post, with tons of useful information, so here’s another question I have for you all. What is the best type of juice for flavor in a MTL RTA?

I’ve found that lower mg salt nic usually tastes better than its higher mg counterpart - I.E. a 30mg and a 50mg bottle of the same juice will taste better in the 30mg option.

I’ve read about people smoking 0, 3, and 6mg freebase in pod systems, so I bought some myself to try it out in my MTL RTA (the lady at the vape shop said 3mg would have a lot more flavor than Nic salts).

I’m not sure if I somehow got a bad batch of juice (I have 4 different flavors/ 2 different brands so idk the likelihood of that) or what, but it doesn't have a prominent taste.

Ive tried from .6 to 1.2ohm coils with 28ga stainless steel single round, as well as some 1ohm mtl fused claptons. Is it possible to make the juice work with my current set up or do I need to buy different gauge wire and up my watts? I’m not interested in heavy cloud production, just flavor.  

Hey guys ands gals, I’ve been vaping an awfully long time and now come to the conclusion it’s time to quit... I am in the U.K. , so I’ve not really got any idea of where I can get rid of most of my hardware.... lots in the collection.... I’m definitely not just dumping the lot of it, as it cost me quite a bit in the first instance.... obvs I will not be getting rid of any batteries etc as I can still use those in torches etc... I have managed to wean myself off nic salts (due to bad reaction) , and back onto less than 3 mg nic at the moment... I plan on making some 0 nic liquid to aid my quitting.... if anyone has any helpful advice- please post.... thanks!  

Hey guys I’ve been enjoying vaping for a few months now and I’m loving it.
I’ve learnt how to fix some leaks and backspits so I am happy with that .
But I have washed one of my coil cleaning it under tap water and left it to air out for a week cuz I used another coil at this time.


I’m not getting much juice and the cotton in the coil is quite hard. So I’m sucking mostly Heat vape
But it’s not terrible or anything?

What should I do ?

After taking onboard what everybody told me about not using a 50mg nic salt with a 0.5 coil I switched to 25mg nic salt . I got some new 1.2 coils , it took 3 weeks to get from England , and I don’t like them at all, it completely changes the taste . So back to the 0.5 . So I tried cutting the liquid by 25% with PG ,and it’s ok but not wow . Then I tried mixing the 25 mg salt with 3mg freebase and again it’s ok but not wow . I have used 18 mg liquid with the 0.5 atomiser for yrs so how bad is it using the 25 mg nic salt with the 0.5 coil because that’s the one that I really like .and I don’t feel drunk I feel fine . So I’ve been vaping 12MG nic for a while on my Kayfun and it’s the right amount of nic to satisfy my nic needs. Only thing is at 12 mg I do still get a few harsh throat hits and I’m not sure what the best way to tackle it is.

I’m already vaping Nic salt nicotine with hi VG, suppose I’m wondering is their any super smooth eliquds in the market that mint remedy this? I’ve noticed with some eloquids at 12mg is less harsh than other liquids at 12mg. I don’t make my own liquid tho so I have no clue on how flavours may effect throat hit.

I might also drop to 10MG and vape at a slightly higher wattage which I’m yet to experiment. Any advice would be fantastic!  

First off, I would like to say that I’m very new to vaping. I started off with a JUUL, then a Smok Novo 2, and eventually got sick of buying pods.

Now I have a Hellvape MD, and an Ares 2 - the first provides better flavor, but it’s still not comparable to what I was getting in my pod systems. I just recently purchased a BP Mods Pioneer, and I’m hoping that gives me better results. I’m using an Aegis Mini for a mod.

I’m trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong, because it’s really frustrating to spend all this money for worse flavor, when I was hoping it would let me save money.

I have about 40 bottles of salt nic flavors that are 50 or 35 mg, and a couple 3mg freebase I bought (120ml for $7 seemed like a steal). I would really like to get away from the salt nic, but I seem to get even worse flavor from the 3mg.

I’m using 2.5ID 28ga SS316L round wire from Master Wire Supply (I have a spool) with Puffs Organic Cotton. My coils are usually .7ohms, but I’ve tried up to 1ohm. I’ve also tried 1 ohm Vandy Vape Superfine MTL fused claptons, and experienced similar results.

I’m using the MD with the most restrictive airflow settings (3 small hole airflow disk), low (2-3) adjustable AFC setting. I have my coil as low as possible to the airflow, and I have thinned / fluffed my wicks.

I haven’t tried adjusting the airflow below the coil on the Ares 2, because the video instructions say wide open airflow below the coil is the best for flavor (I have found the opposite to be true for the MD).

Can someone provide me more insight?

Will 2mm ID coils with the same amount of wraps taste better than 2.5? Do coil ohms do anything for flavor, or does it only change how fast it heats up? Will I lose flavor if my coils hang outside the diameter of the airflow disk?
Is there a certain type of coil that would give me better flavor than regular round wire?

I use TC at 420F 20 watts


Any kind of feedback is appreciated and if I left anything out or you have questions about my set up that could help me out please ask! I’m at a loss on what to do, and it seems like no amount of research is helping  

I have a ton of 0 mg juice that I would like to make 3 mg Nicotine, but I don’t know where to buy nicotine, what type I need or how to mix it properly. Some of you are going to say search the forums but all the old threads I’m not interested in as things change everyday with products and techniques. That’s why I am starting a fresh post and need help in which would be greatly appreciated.

So that’s one thing I need help with.

Second thing I need help with is deciding which dripping atomizer would you recommend. I’m looking for something that’s came out recently that has good reviews. I don’t have much time to search for reviews so maybe you know what’s hot and what’s not? I know it all comes down to personal opinion and I would like your opinion please. (RDA Specifically is what I’m interested in.)
