So my husband and I bought two zenith II tanks and inokin 1.6 ohm heads. My husband has not been impressed with the lack of flavor that it produces. Mine has been ok but I’m wondering if I need to clean the coil often? I usually use a nautilus tank and coil that I would clean each time I added liquid. Any help is appreciated as we bought 13 packs of these coils
Hey y'all I'm wanting to try out a Zenith mtl tank to replace my egoOne v2 since I can no longer get the CLR coils and am not willing to rebuild them.
I mainly want recommendations on which online stores are the best to purchase the tank/coils from. I've been out of the loop for a few years and the store I always purchased my CLRs from doesn't carry the Zenith.
Also wondering if anyone knows if the pmta is gonna have any impact on the availability of the Zenith tanks or coils in the near future? I'd hate to try it and like it and purchase more just to find out they're extinct. I appreciate any help.
Hey - vaped for a LONG time. Mostly MTL tanks and I have been using the Zenith for a couple of years which I really like, but I'm too hard on it. I vape too much. Anyway, I've started using thicker liquids 70/30 and it's even more difficult for my Zenith. I do thin it out with a little menthol drops. But here's my question. I've been pondering going to a sub ohm tank but I just really don't know which to choose. As it stands, I'm thinking the falcon 2? Do their coils last long? Do the tanks leak even if liquid is thinned out a bit (not much). Anyway, if anyone has any recommendations, plz post reply. Thanks
Hey. I have a very annoying dry hit problem with my Innokin Zenith tank. I can't figure out what makes it happen. It happened on an used coil, so then i changed coils, but it happened again on the new coil.
I have 30% PG 70% VG liquid, didn't chain vape too much, had it on 14 watts, the tank was full, i had primed the coil...
Help is very appreciated!
Hey all,
So, I've been really happy with my new setup (iStick 50w and 30w, Nautilus and Mini Nautilus). Everything has been working smoothly, but I have a problem with the replacement coils I purchased (and cannot return).
Went to go change out the coil in one of my tanks this evening. Filled the tank up as usual, made sure the air shaft and drip tip were clean, screwed on my new coil, filled the tank, and let it sit and wick up for half an hour. Took some pulls without firing, dropped it to 8w (to "step up" and prime the new coil), and immediately got a nasty burnt hit that I can still taste an hour later. Unscrewed the tank to see what was wrong, and noticed the wicking material was bone dry.
For the longest time, I could not figure out what happened, why it wasn't wicking...until I looked closer. The e-liquid holes on the replacement coil I have are TINY! The coils that came with the tanks have holes that are at least twice, maybe three times the diameter. The holes are so small that my e-liquid will not even enter them to soak the wicking material. I checked the serial number scratch off on Aspire's site and both boxes of replacement coils I have came up as authentic.
I'm displeased. $22 down the drain, now I have to rush and find a dealer who has the "correct" coils. I cannot use these coils whatsoever, and the dealer I purchased from does not accepted returns on atomizers.
On the left is the coil that came with the tank (both of my tanks came with this exact same coil, and two replacements that look exactly like it, but I've used them up and am on the new ones). On the right, the coil I purchased in a replacement pack of 5. You can see they look nearly identical, except for the size of the wicking holes. Also, the piece at the bottom seems a bit more flimsy, as you can see in the picture, it's not exactly straight with the rest of the atomizer.
So, can anyone point me to a dealer that has the coils I need? I'm afraid of ordering from somewhere and getting the ones on the right, which are useless and do not soak up any e-liquid whatsoever.
Considering getting the Sensis but wondering if the coil +, refresh and f0 modes really do improve coil life. I would probably use the adapter with the zenith tank as well as the pod so especially interested to hear anyone’s experience using it this way and whether you’ve seen the life of your coils noticeably increase. Thanks
Think i might of burnt out a Alantis coil yesterday, still not sure. I stuck my tank in cup of hot water for 20 mins with 1 or 2 drops of washing up liquid. Then i dried burn the coil.
When assembling my tank and topping up with new juice i got a horrible burnt taste so i just swapped it out and put a new coil in. At the moment i only got 1 sub ohm tank and i i got a selection of juices. I do intend to get another sub set up waiting on ZNA 50 as i type this. But this going to take time as i went for the cheapest option ie Fast Tech.
Does anyone know how long the coils for Alantis tanks are suppose to last ? and the best way to keep them clean when swapping out juices ?
Any advice would be really helpful.
I've got one that has me puzzled. I went through two fills of my Aerotank V2 with Cosmic Fog's Milk and Honey when it started to taste burnt. I figured no big deal, let me change the coil and clean the tank and all will be well. Well, new coil and cleaned tank and about 4 drags in it tastes burnt again. Thinking maybe I have a bum coil I try another one. Same deal.
I'm at a loss. It's the same bottle of liquid, same tank (cleaned each time), same battery (iStick 50w), same wattage (8.9), same resistance (1.2 ohm). Anyone have any clue what's could be causing this? It's getting expensive in coils and liquid!
Thanks
I have been using these coils with my tank for years. But the last shipment I got must have gotten skipped on quality control. We have been going through these like underwear. They start to turn black really quick and then lack no flavor after a week of mild/moderate use. We have not changed liquids, have been using the same liquid with these brand of heads for years. Is there another alternative??? Please help!
*I posted this in the Aspire Forums, but wanted to get some Feedback from my fellow ECF members*
Hi,
I bought a Aspire Nautilus Mini Premium Starter kit that came with the 1000mah VV+ battery a few months ago. It came with a 5 pack of 1.8 Ohm BVC coils. I have since bought 3, 5 packs of coils from 101Vape. They have all worked great, but 101Vape has ran out of stock.
I bought 2, 5 packs of 1.8 Ohm BVC coils from WORLDofVAPE. They came in the mail today and they also work (better) great, but they are not physically the same. They have the same markings and threading and post, but the wicking holes are 3 times larger. They are not in the middle, but run along the top of the threading. They say Aspire BVC 1.8 (3.3-6.0) CE and have the trash can picture on them. The packaging is exactly as the first 3 sets of 5 packs I have bought (including the pack that came with the kit). I have checked every security code and they all come back genuine.
Why do the BVC coils from World of Vape have larger intake holes on them? Are these a newer improved design? Did you start using different equipment or specifications to produce the BVC? Are these a different coil meant for a different tank? I would really like to know so that I can order the exact ones again in the future as I don't know when World of Vape will run out of stock. Any feedback would be great!
Hey everyone,
So I've had the crown 4 tank for about 6 or so months and switched to mesh coils a couple months ago, off and on. The reason being is that it seems with the 4-packs I've bought, it's almost guaranteed that 2 will be either VERY picky about how tight i screw the tank and coil on the base. It has to be JUST tight enough where the box gets an ohm reading, but any tighter it looks like it shorts out (the ohm reading blinks 0.00). I've never messed around with the coil before, i usually just end up going back to the traditional coils and dealing with the lacking taste. Any suggestions? I'm using the sub box mini v2 if that makes a difference.
Thanks!
