I have a CLT v2 Plus and a Mutation X v2 running on a Sigelei 150w and an Asmodus Klone v1.5. I am a cloud chaser, just to get that out of the way. Both attys on both mods used to CHUCK the clouds like nobodys business. My builds have not changed, if anything I have gotten much better at it obviously with time and practice. But boths attys on both mods just don't do what they used to. Neither performs in a way that is something to be "ashamed" of, if you will. But they don't do near what I used to get out of them. Maybe it's the batteries? I have 10 18650 batteries, all have been in even rotation for a while now. Although I would think it wouldn't be such a big deal in the Sigelei, it being regulated and all, right? Or maybe I just suck and don't know it? I am not against getting new atomizers, as I love throwing away hard earned money on vape gear I don't really need as much as the next ECF member, but still. Thoughts?
So i was thinking of starting a thread which might list every mod past and present which would be compiled by you from one day to the next. At first i thought it wouldn't be practical because no one would know if a mod had been added unless they read through the entire thread.
Then i thought if a list from A though Z were compiled systematically by members by copying and pasting the most recent list in this thread, and then contributing to it, ensuring your entries are inserted alphabetically (Even if it's only one or two mods), then eventually this thread could contain pretty much every mod that exists, and would be updated regularly, by you !. No pictures please !. Only brief descriptions such as "company name / name of mod / type of mod".
What better place for such a list than ECF, "The world's largest e-cigarette website.
Here's my contribution to start it off :

Pioneer4you IPV 3 150 watt box mod (2 18650 batteries)
Pioneer4you IPV 4 100 watt box mod (2 18650 batteries)

SIGELEI 100 watt Plus box mod (2 18650 batteries)
Smoant Charon TS 218 box mod (2 18650 batteries)
Tesla advanced vapourizer 6 volt -15 watt VV/VW Tube mod (single 18650 battery).
Vamo V7 40 watt tube mod (Single 18650 battery)
Voopoo Too 180 watt tc box mod (2 18650 batteries)

it's a list of all the mods i own at this present time.
If you're going to add to the list then you can add any mods you can think off as long as you place those mods into the existing alphabetical order ( description should start with the company name). Batteries such as, say, vision twist aren't mods so lets not get into those. Tube mods and box mods (Includes internal/built in battery mods) only please (Squonkers included)
And lets not forget Mechanicals.
If you think a previous desciption is incorrect then correct it.
Ensuring company names come first in your description will enable a logical, consistant "alphabetical" understanding of the list by anyone who views it.
If you don't know the name of the company who made the mod just insert the name of the mod etc.
I bought a sigelie 150w recently and it was a deal where it comes with two batteries, I wanna know if these are good batteries.
they are yellow and all it says on it is "LGDBHE41865" are these good batteries to use for my sigelie 150w?
Okay so I did look this up and it appears that other people have mentioned this specifically with sigelei mods but I didn't see any that were more recent. I look at my mod to see what my batteries charge looks like to see if I need to go ahead and change batteries and I swear to God the thing starts jumping around as though the batteries are charging themselves and then going back to the 40%. Apparently that's a problem that the mods have and isn't something to be concerned about but it freaked me the heck out. They're doing just fine now that they're in their external charger thingy but I just want to make sure that that's not a sign of something going wrong with the batteries that it's just my mod being weird I've checked the connections and everything to make sure it was clean and that the batteries were fine and not dented or unwrapped and everything looks good. I just need some assurance that the batteries were not like failing or that a regulated mod would shut itself off if batteries were jumping around like crazy in reality if that's even possible
For clarification it was doing this when I was not firing it
I've been vaping for almost a year; mainly regulated VW mods. Recently I discovered my affinity for Mech Mods and, in the interest of battery safety, I am having a tough time telling when I should swap out my batteries. I've heard that it's not a good thing to over-discharge them, but how can you tell if/when that might be happening? I tend to err on the paranoid side and swap them out every couple of hours or so. Any tips about this? Is it just kind of a "feel" thing learned with experience?
Thanks!

Yesterday Lightning Vapes sent out an email informing customers of their impending business and website name change to - WIREOPTIM. Excerpt -
"We will continue to carry many of the products you have come to know and love, however e-liquid will soon be a thing of the past, and batteries are likely to be absent as well."
I'm going to call them and hope to chat about this tomorrow - the owner is quite up on battery tech. I don't recall the details or exactly when, but I do remember some condemnation and warnings and label changes concerning 18650 bat use in mods. A year or two, three... ago? Not sure.
As I DIY most of my lquids my largest concern in the past weeks has been nicotine availability and I'm adjusting my budget for a bulk purchase for frozen storage. I think/hope wire, cotton and PG/VG and flavorings will be somewhat safer from the insane one-sided ban happy wildfire sweeping the US.
The battery comment caught me a bit off-guard, and I'm not quite flush enough atm to stock up on those at the same time. Even less flush to find and buy some lost vape duos or other LI-PO pack mods if anyone still makes them. LI-Po's are used in RC hobbies and are available on ebay and from battery supliers - might be the way to go forward if I need to break out my soldering iron and relearn to mod hardware. I hope I'm overthinking this but if this is more about money and not the "Save the Children" BS I've been listening to for a decade, they won't stop at flavors.
I'll report back if I get any thoughts from LV.
Until then any thoughts here? Is Mooch still participating on this forum? Guess I'll be re-researching longevity and storage of those cells in the coming days.
I began vaping 10 years ago this month - after smoking for 30 years - I'm 57 - haven't had a smoke since and I'm seriously f***ing pissed off. But that's for another thread.
Cheers
Mike
Hi I just got a sigelei 100 watt plus and this is my first time using freshly charged batteries in it... it's still reading at being 100% in the sigelei. ive been using it for maybe 3 hours total . Is this normal .. because its starting to make me wonder if something is wrong. Its been at 40 to 50 watts this whole time. I didnt charge the batteries at first when i got them because my charger did not arrive yet...then once it did come i charged them and now its continuing to stay at 100%
I bought my Sigelei 100w Plus a few days back and ordered 2 Sony VTC4's on my same order (I'm confident they're legitimate, I've bought some before) to be able to marry them together and use them with my Sigelei. Upon receiving the batteries, I labelled one A, and one B and put them into my charger at the same time (charger was off, put both in and turned it on), one battery is slightly more charged than the other (it's 2/3 bars, while the other is still 1/3). I'm a bit worried about using married batteries, I understand rotating A and B in my Sigelei and charger but will they be the same charge when they're done? They're new batteries and they both went on at the same time yet one of them is charging a little bit faster.
When both of the batteries are fully charged, will they be safe to use and cycle accordingly? I heard about if one battery has even a tiny bit less, the batteries will take an uneven load and it will make it risky. How do I ensure that these batteries remain married?
I have considered making my own replacement "tube" for glass part of atomizers (like my old PockeX that the glass is thin and breaks so easily) Also (after next May) might be making several hardware projects... even attys. Is aluminum safe around e-juice? I know (in general... like for cooking) I avoid using anything acidic with aluminum... I assume most e-juice (besides citrus/sour that I don't like anyway) should be fairly neutral. It's easy to cut and work with.
I wanna buy the sigelei oni edition 150watt but iv not used any box mods that require batteries yet, my jellyfish and innovkin has internal batteries, can you gents recommend 2 good batts and charger. and is there any tips i might need to know.
Herro!
So, I always used to use mech mods from about 6 months to a year and a half into vaping. For the last 6 months I've been on regulated (iStick 30W and 50W).
When I switched to regulated I retired my mech mods and 18650 batteries to the closet. I made sure they were all around 50% charged because I heard from someone on here that was the best condition to leave them.
Well recently I've had this curiosity to try them again, only for at home use, mainly for the novelty of it.
So, my question is, what will I have to do to revive these batteries? Are they safe to just throw back on the charger and use when fully charged? Or are they not safe to use?
Batteries: 4 Sony VTC 4's (all were acquired about a month before I stopped using mechs), 2 XTAR (Sony) VTC 4's (about a year old now) , 2 MXJO 2500mah (20A LG's) (about a year old now).
Let me know! Thank you!
Vape Happy,
