Just curious....I love the clone/ authentic threads. People get pretty "passionate" about what other people choose to spend their money on....its kinda crazy.
I was just curious if anyone ever changed their stance on buying or not buying clones after reading one of the thousands of angry debates about clones vs. authentics.
My stance has remained steady since the beginning. I still don't care what you use.
My local B&M has an iTaste 134 in their display case, but this place is owned by the same people that own the "smoke" shop next door. Back when I used to partake in that other stuff, I was ripped off when they sold me FAKE hardware. It was labeled and branded as the real thing, but after some internet research, I found out it was very blatantly fake.
I'm a bit worried that their Innokin product may suffer from the same thing, since this shop is owned by the same people. Is there anything I could look for while examining it to know for sure if it's authentic? Are the clones actually branded with the iTaste logo? Or if it says, "iTaste" is it real?
Is it even worth taking a chance, since I know the owners have faked me out in the past? (I just don't know if the vaping industry might handle fakes differently with all these clones I keep hearing about.)

Im currious way years later.... how many own and use the "new" billet box rv4 clone(s)? Also the bridges, and what is your "favorite" configuration of bridges plus build?...
I have both sxk clones, 60dna and 70w sku chipset. As far as bridges, the exocet is the only thing to seem worth while... even after all the new bridges afterwards...

Hey. As the post states Im trying to decide what online store to buy my next purchases from. Im looking at buying a few different things. It is basically a new start into the world of rebuilding.Both RTA and RDA. Maybe a regulated device or mech mod, but Im more concerned with tanks and attys. I also need to purchase a few rebuilding tools.
Here is what I have so far and where Im headed:
Already have Kanthal A-1 26 and 29 gauge wire. Also have Koh Gen Do Cotton. Also have tweezers, clippers, pliers, scissors,etc. Basic stuff. My setup is iStick 30w and Nautilus Minis.
Looking to get:
1 or 2 RTA's (almost certain on Kanger Subtank Mini)
1 or 2 RDA's (possibly Magma)
Coil Jig, Screwdrivers, spare parts such as o-rings, etc
Any other useful things not already listed. Not opposed to authentic or clones. But im not gonna spend a small fortune
As far as websites are concerned Ive looked at Fasttech and Focalecig alot. Leaning towards Fastech but really dont want to wait a month ...

Hey guys, I bought the Subtank Nano and loved it with the packaged coils.
I bought back-up coils that had a white insulator instead of the red, and the first one I popped in gave me such a severe sore on my tongue that I can barely talk. Both of them I've bought have really made it so bad and the flavor isn't good either.
I think they're clones that really have some bad coil material or something, but I can't tell... do the authentic ones have the red insulator?

During the "panic buying" time, I ordered a ton of Cotton Bacon Prime.
Before that, I had ordered 2 packages. Both were authentic and said "Wick n Vape" on the package.
This new order has been authenticated. But the individual packages now says "WNV" instead of "Wick n Vape.
Is it possible "Wick n Vape" changed their name to reflect the changing times?

I'm not a big pod user, but for the longest time I've always had an AIO lying around in various forms. I'm growing tired of the overpriced and overcomplicated Billet Box and turning my eyes onto this. Although I love Nautilus coils and can get many here, I plan on buying the RBA and using it with that. My only issue is that at 35w I think it's a little underpowered.
Also I don't see many people buying it, instead buying Billet Boxes. Really, for me this looks a lot simpler. Do you have one? Can you tell me more about it? Thanks!
Sometimes I feel like the Lone Ranger when it comes to RBA's, RTA's etc. I just can't stand them. I've spent more money than I care to admit buying wire, cotton, torches and all the other supplies. I've watched countless hours of "how-to" videos. I've built and rebuilt coils. Not to mention the money I've spent on various RDA's. After all this, I just love my Nautilus Minis with BVC coils. Nothing else is as satisfying to me. After 6+ years of vaping, they are my perfect set-up along with a nice VW box mod. Anybody else with me on this?
with a possible upcoming purchase of a Kennedy rda (clone or authentic) I was wondering if it would be safe to put this on a hybrid mod as people have reported some spitback and I don't want juice peaking down to my battery

Wondering if its possible/safe to use temperature control on a RDA clone? Because clones don't use peek insulator or does that not matter?
