Outdated Batteries And Mods

Hey guys well I am trying vaping out again after I just bought another mini nautilus and what not but I think I made the mistake of buying the itaste mvp2.0? I know its dropped to $38 but looking at recent batteries that came out i see stuff like the ileaf 20w istick and what not that is like the same price except with more power. Any suggestions on what i should have bought or did i make the right decision.

Just Bought A Couple Of New Toys

Like I really needed to buy more stuff....

Just placed an order for an IPV Mini 2, a couple of Samsung batteries, and since I need to get to $75 to get free shipping, I also bought a eGo One 2200 kit. Got the IPV Mini 2 for $47, which is a great deal since the B&M near me is asking $100 for it.

Geekvape Aegis X Zeus Battery Problem

So I just bought a kit, it doesn't come with batteries -- which I wasn't told (was led to believe it was charged through the USB port according to vape store employee). So I ordered x4 Nitecore-NL1834 18650 3400mAh 3.7 Protected Lithium Ion (Li-ion) batteries and now the door won't close. I read an old article saying that Protected 18650 can be bigger. If there's a possibility of buying batteries that cost $18 a pop shouldn't they let you know there's a chance that it won't be the right size?
Is there a trick to getting the battery lid to close or do I need to now buy unprotected 18650 batteries and hopefully get my money back on the protected batteries I bought?

Battery Reading Fluctuates

Okay so I did look this up and it appears that other people have mentioned this specifically with sigelei mods but I didn't see any that were more recent. I look at my mod to see what my batteries charge looks like to see if I need to go ahead and change batteries and I swear to God the thing starts jumping around as though the batteries are charging themselves and then going back to the 40%. Apparently that's a problem that the mods have and isn't something to be concerned about but it freaked me the heck out. They're doing just fine now that they're in their external charger thingy but I just want to make sure that that's not a sign of something going wrong with the batteries that it's just my mod being weird I've checked the connections and everything to make sure it was clean and that the batteries were fine and not dented or unwrapped and everything looks good. I just need some assurance that the batteries were not like failing or that a regulated mod would shut itself off if batteries were jumping around like crazy in reality if that's even possible
For clarification it was doing this when I was not firing it

Batteries

Hello

Haven't been here in quite a long time but I have a question.

I have had a good supply for batteries for about a year now and have bought batteries from the same place... rtdvapor since I started vaping.

Batteries are getting old, looking to get new.. but when I go to rtd it says it is unavailable.

So I guess I have 2 questions.

Anyone know if rtd vapor is still in business? and if not anyone know a reliable place I can go for batteries?

Thank you all in advance!

Need Help Finding An Apv That Works With Nautilus Tank

Hi, folks. I've been vaping since 2009 and certainly went through years of trying new devices (Anybody remember the Screwdriver?) But I stopped keeping up with new products and technology once I found a set-up that worked for me.
I use an original Aspire Nautilus 5ml tank with BVC 1.8 or 1.6 coils and flavorless liquid that I mix myself. I've been powering the tank with variable voltage batteries such as the Spinner 2 or, more recently, the Kangor Evod VV 1600 mah. Both the tanks and those batteries have become increasingly harder to find.
Have to say, after the Screwdriver, I was never interested in getting another device with an external battery. But as we all prepare for the (senseless) demise of the on-line vaping industry, I've been trying to quickly learn about regulated mods. I need something safe and reliable that will take an external rechargeable 18650 battery and will also fit my Nautilus tank.
I know the technology has advanced light years. Frankly, all the info out there is pretty overwhelming.
I don't need a lot of power or tons of vapor. I tend to stay between 3.2-3.4 volts with the airflow on the tank wide open. I'm most concerned about quality since buying mistakes will soon be harder to remedy. (Some of the worst products I've purchased-- with the highest price tags-- were from local vape shops.)
Any suggestions for an APV from folks who also use the larger Aspire tank?
Thanks.

What A Difference A Proper Mod Makes!

I just bought an eleaf istick. I was using, for the few months I've been vaping, only eGo type batteries and decided to spend a little more on a mod and an RTA (EHPro kayfun lite).
The istick just arrived. I know it's not the most advanced piece of vaping hardware, but it's a huge step up from the eGo c twist.
I mean, with the same clearo (nautilus mini), the same juices and, allegedly, the same voltage, this thing makes my vaping experience so much better it's almost unbelievable.
If you're using an eGo battery, and you're serious about going on vaping and quiting smoking for good, by all means buy a regulated mod. It's really, really better.
I realize in the U.S. it's not a big deal, you can get a mod by $30 or less, but here in Brazil an istick goes for at least $100,but it's worth the money.

Now I expect the kayfun to be another step up, after I get decent coil building and wicking skills.

Just sharing the experience anyways.

Thanks for all the help you at this forum give to us at the community.

Cheers!

Replacing Batteries In Istick?

Hello everyone, I have the istick 50w and 30w is it possible to replace the batteries in these? or am I stuck buying new ones if the batteries go bad?

Having Bad Luck With Mods Lately

I have said many times all mods break sooner or later. I dropped one and It quit working. I had to use an older mod I had for backup and it was usable but would randomly change the wattage. I bought a UWELL EVDILO a couple of months ago and it didn't work out of the box. I bought another mod the Vandy Vape Gaur-21. I received it yesterday. I like it but, I think the battery lights are not functioning properly. I used it for 24 hours and the battery indicators report the batteries are still at full charge. Doesn't seem possible. I am just sharing this info. Merry Christmas!

Thinking About Downgrading From Mod To Rechearable

Well I bought a mod and a kayfun and after about a week of fiddling and trying to get it to work its just way too much of a hassle so I am probably going to sell it to my friend that wanted a mod and kayfun anyway. Now I currently tried to upgrade from mini nautilus and vision spinner 2 to mod but I kind of want to downgrade even further since I went through 2 vision spinners and 2 mini nautlius in about a month and a half so obviously I am not happy. Im sure you all know why i hate the mini nautilus. But now i was thinking about going back to the Halo g6 starter kit that i got started with vaping. When i look back it was so hassle free, convenient, and i didnt attract attention like the bigger batteries etc which are usually frowned upon by people in the general public. I use 12mg so I was wondering to make up for the smaller battery and vapor that i should upgrade to 18mg? Yes I know im going to end up spending like another $100 for a starter kit and halo ejuice which is expensive since its $20 for 30ml and other ejuice doesnt seem to work in the g6 cartridges. I really need a 2nd opinion on what people think of this plan. The g6 should last me awhile unlike the vision and mini nautilus which id have to keep rebuying which is like $50 a month even though i buy off mtbakervapor which has much lower prices than halo even though its also prob lower quality. What do you guys think? Are mods just an addiction hobby thing that smokers actually need.

Some Series 18650 Questions

I bought my Sigelei 100w Plus a few days back and ordered 2 Sony VTC4's on my same order (I'm confident they're legitimate, I've bought some before) to be able to marry them together and use them with my Sigelei. Upon receiving the batteries, I labelled one A, and one B and put them into my charger at the same time (charger was off, put both in and turned it on), one battery is slightly more charged than the other (it's 2/3 bars, while the other is still 1/3). I'm a bit worried about using married batteries, I understand rotating A and B in my Sigelei and charger but will they be the same charge when they're done? They're new batteries and they both went on at the same time yet one of them is charging a little bit faster.

When both of the batteries are fully charged, will they be safe to use and cycle accordingly? I heard about if one battery has even a tiny bit less, the batteries will take an uneven load and it will make it risky. How do I ensure that these batteries remain married?
