I am happy a gyrocopter landed on the White House Lawn today. Maybe they can focus on them with regulations and leave us vapors alone for a while.
Well , it happened. Went in the bathroom, set my Dovpo VV by the sink. Bumped it and it fell. The mod bounced and landed in the trashcan but the battery door landed...you guessed it...in the toilet. And with a short string of creative profanities, I took the plunge. Retrieved the panel . I'm very happy it was just the panel and not the mod. Still not happy about having to stick my hand in the toilet though.
We need EVERYONE to make at least 1 call to the White House today! Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids and the American Medical Association have a call push campaign on today (12-11-2019)!
In addition, last week Apparently ACS was down with a bunch of kids and people in oxygen masks making rounds in the Senate. Pushing really hard and being very theatrical!
Made a call and got through quickly...2nd and 3rd calls were at least 12min waits.
I did ask, they only have 4 people answering phones today
202-456-1414 is the best number to use
202-456-1111 is constantly busy.
She told me all day has been nothing but against bans, I asked specifically and she said no calls for the ban!!! So we must keep calling and the wait is hopefully discouraging the people for the ban!!
Our phone calls to the White House have been successful in the past. Let's continue to do what we can to prevent a flavor ban.
Have you called yet? If we don't call we won't be heard. I told them I was against the vaping and flavor ban. But I'm one person. It can't be said enough. We ALL need to call. Maybe then they'll see they can lose their jobs if they continue to push these bans!

Seeing it already... little plastic pods, in parking lots and the park, the new cigarette butt of the new Age.
Vapors used to be the good guys... the ones who didn't leave their nasty cigarette butts all over the ground.
There's a bipartisan Bill working it's way around the Senate to ban pods and cartridge e-cigarettes and I hope it becomes law!
Teenagers love the easy convenience of the pods. Eradicating them, forcing adults to buy box mods (the horror! For their refillable tanks wouldn't be the end of the world.
Limiting vape sales to vape shops was a good idea. Eliminating gas station and convenience store sales was a good idea too.
Putting reputable e liquid manufacturers out of business? Not so much... maybe a modest sin tax on e-liquid wouldn't be a bad idea. If we're lining govt pockets with revenue, maybe they'd leave us in peace....
Please anyone who can, please go to the CDC Twitter and leave a tweet under EVERY vaping lie they are telling! We need to FLOOD them with knowledge! These people know NOTHING!
Funny how these deaths started when big tobacco came out with their products. Lets not forget legal pot states flooding other states with illegal THC vaping pods/tanks! I refuse to let them screw us!
Thank you for your help.
Harry.
We got the attention of President Trump's GOP staff by crashing the White House switchboard.
Now its Round Two.
You know what to do. The message remains the same. If you have Twitter, continue to tweet, and continue to call the White House to remind Trump's staff that we won't let them forget about us.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE. BE THE DIFFERENCE.
Not really sure how this will work but....
After 30 years of smoking, and 3 months of vaping I found the one thing I don't like about vaping compared to smoking. Not being able to just leave a vape dangling from my mouth like I did with smokes. I only smoked outside so I would light up the second I got outside and then if I needed two hands, I would just leave the cig in my mouth and drag on it while I was doing whatever it was I was doing. Can't do that with my mods. I was doing yard work the other day and I had to keep stopping for vaping. I never did that while smoking. It was weird. O well.....
White House abruptly cancels meeting with vaping advocates
The White House abruptly organized — and then quickly canceled — a meeting Thursday with frustrated conservative policy leaders, to try to tamp down anger about a sweeping vaping ban that’s inflamed the Trump administration’s traditional allies, four individuals with knowledge of the meeting told POLITICO.
“A ban on flavored e-cigarettes could cost Trump a second term,” Paul Blair of Americans for Tax Reform argued in a Washington Examiner op-ed last week. The “well-organized vaping constituency could swing the outcome of the Electoral College one way or the other.”
Lately I have been working a full weeks work week aside from writing and recording music part time. Last night I spent a long time recording and putting things together. Some of it needed extra work. These two components together was causing me extra stress. I arrived at work today and accidentally went down to the ground floor without my electronic cigarette that I always take with me, that one along with my backup. When I got downstairs I realized that I forgot it upstairs. Then a thought from outer space came to me and said that because I am so stressed out I need a cigarette because only a cigarette can cure my current feelings in this moment. So I decided to build upon that thought and found myself walking to the gas station to buy Marlboro Reds and I bought a pack.
Now I'm in my office doing computer work. I smoked two cigarettes and I chain smoked them. My hands and clothes smell terrible. Here in NY cigarettes are at least fourteen dollars and I really wasted this money. Now I'm feeling bad that I bought them, I wish I didn't. Maybe I need to go through this situation for the next time I'm in a similar position so I don't make the same mistakes I had made today.
To be honest when I smoked those two I finished them and felt like I still didn't get my fill and this never happened with electronic cigarettes. I'm always happy that I smell good like aftershave in the morning when I leave my house and if I smoke a cigarette and go on the train or bus I'll smell terrible.
I will try to use this event as a lesson in my future. To take the negative as positive advice as to what to look out for. I'm sure others can relate to this.
Dang i am lazy...and ill tell you why. i got frustrated building today, so i when to my little vape shop (50 feet away) and got myself a kanger subtank... and guess what, i freaking love it. i have only dripped like 15 times today on my Kennedy, but im using a tank now, and i don't care, probably because i hate pulling over in my car just to drip, but now im being lazier then poop, i haven't even got out of my lawn chair to go grab some juice...maybe its temporary, but right now im in total heaven.
Chasing the clouds, until i fall back onto the ash of earth... maybe its the dry cotton
