I've had it with the anti mech and cloud attitude that has been developing here. I see threads pop up weekly about how much of a jerk off I am because of my choice of device.
I made a little video for you guys before I go. It is difficult for me to express myself through words sometimes.
NOt all of the people here are so unwelcoming, so for those of you who have been supportive and informative thank you. For those of you who vilify and judge, this video is for you. Maybe in the future I'll pop in and see what is going on. Until then, so long and thanks for all the fish.

I just saw this short video today. Don't know if it's been posted before.....

Enjoy!
Saw this video online and was wondering what you guys thought about it. I know second hand vapor is safe so does that make this video ok?

I was researching some things on the computer and came across a box mod called the Moxie by Avail Vapor. Avail is a local shop near where I live. I found this video that came up and behold it is a review. It isn't a review by Twisted, Rip or anybody else you wanna add. The video is done by what appears to be a 12 to 13 year old kid. I didn't even find this video cute. What is a 13 year old kid doing with a troll rda and a box mod? I mean come on vaping is supposed to be for 18 and older. People like this are giving vaping a bad reputation. I posted a link to the video. If you get a chance watch a few minutes or seconds and tell me what your thoughts are

Hey guys, new to the forum, new to vaping, second thread. I have a few questions pertaining to mod clone companies, a-mod (wotofo?), infinite, tobeco. Im wanting to get a magma clone, I have a local vape shop and they sell them on sale as of this moment for $15, its made by tobeco though, are they a reputable company, do they make good things? From what I can see everyone seems to say really good things about infinite, but are these others good? They also have a Sir Lancelot copper mech mod for $30 made my a-mod, not tobeco. I wanted to go and pick these items up today, but with a little insight, any help would be appreciated, thanks!
EDIT: Yes I realize Im talking about two specific products here, that being the RDA and a mech mod, but Im really just curious about the quality and whether or not these other clone companies are reputable, so I made the decision to post this thread in 'Gerneral Vaping Discussion'.

I just got done watching a video from Twisted420 who is supposed to be a reputable vape personality.
The video was a review of the 200w Snow Wolf mod box with temperature control. In the video, Twisted420 was vaping it at ~574 F degrees not to mention when he maxed the temp out at ~662 F. Basically boasting about it being the most powerful temp control mod on the market.
From my understanding, Glycerol (VG) decomposes into acrolein at ~535 F (~280 C). Acrolein is an aldehyde that is a decomposition product of glycerol. Acrolien is one of the main connections between cigarettes and lung cancer.
Anybody buying this for high wattage temp control should be aware of this. For even your biggest cloud producing kanthal builds don't heat as high as twisted420 was vaping. So far the people I see using this device in my vape groups are vaping at these very high temps.

Options are good. There are so many options out there today for somebody looking for different sorts of vaping hardware. Some people might be happy with a little 808 kit and other people might be happy with a $500 custom mod. As long as whatever each individual is using is working for them, then great! I wouldn't judge any fellow vaper based on their hardware, but I have to admit that I remain suspicious of cloud chasers. I also admit that I don't know that much about it, and maybe that's why I'm making this post.
Besides making big clouds, what benefit does cloud chasing give somebody?
I read that in some cloud chasing competitions, the contestents use 100% VG unflavored. So it's certainly not the taste that these people are after.
So, is it all just about blowing big clouds and showing off? Basically being a poser?
Let me clarify I enjoy sub-ohm and cloud chasing. It's not rocket science and can be as safe as any other vape. My annoyance is with TC coils being sold by Kanger and such at .2 ohms. You can daily read on here someone wanting to play with low ohm coils that have no understanding of ohms law. Add to that people tend to believe if it's made from a factory and it fits a mod then it's safe. I'm just waiting to read about someone placing a TC coil on a mech using a AW bat with a 10amp limit thinking they are safe because everything seems to work together. They don't know any better and I have no quarrel with that, it's part of learning. It's companies and individuals selling products with no regards to wether the person understands the risks and to make things worse half the people working at vape shops don't know any better either. I talked to a couple guys working that said learning ohms law was a waste of time to just use the calculator apps. Those apps build complacency and complacency is one of the most dangerous things in the world.
Just commented on an appalling Ted Talk. Hope you guys are with me against this garbage.

Hello and happy new year!
I have a problem with vaping, and it’s getting frustrating. But I can’t figure out where is the problem:
Is it my mod?
Is it my wicking?
Are my vaping preferences simply out of the ordinary?
Other?
can I post a video here showing exactly my problem, and also my built? (It will be easier than explaining in words...)
(Idk if I can attach big files here, maybe link? YouTube or cloud file download link?).
So I started this youtube channel Vaping with Physics where I explain the physics of vaping. I figured I would let people know on here if anyone is interested, as the channel is brand new and no one knows about it yet. I'm starting basic with defining the typical electrical terms you hear. So far I have done a video on voltage and one on current/resistance. I plan on doing circuits next, specifically the difference between parallel and series and how that affects vaping. I also did a review of the hero box from drip club just to add some variety. Now i'm not a Phd so I won't be going TOO deep into things, also I want to keep it math friendly for people who aren't already into science anyway. I'm still an undergrad (one more year) but I have a pretty good understanding of most of the stuff, at least to qualify making youtube videos I would think. Let me know if you guys think this is a good idea and if you have any suggestions for topics to discuss. I also am still getting used to recording myself talk so I will improve over time with that hopefully. Right now it kind of just feels like I'm talking out loud to myself lol. Anyway check it out if you'd like: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOUjfyixErMVk77nmvGqHSA
