With the deeming regulations coming up?
With some states wanting to put .30 a ml of juice containing nic. (MN SF 2025)
Low Ohm builds, High wattage, 120 ml a day going to be gone If you don't DIY ? ($36.00 tax only).
TPuffers!!!!!! What have we done! Part Three? Already?
Hello to all the old and the new Tootle Puffers! Welcome to our newest abode. Please make yourself comfy -- there are drinks at the bar, and snacks on the table. We've even got a T-shirt and a wristband for the 1st person to come in here.

Tootle Puffers, Part Three! (The Sequel of the Redux)
Hi everyone!
Ok, you've seen the term on a few threads now, and you've scratched your head thinking...... "What in the world is a Tootle Puffer?!?!"
You're not alone. Many are wondering. Yet, there are a several people who know exactly what it means, and have smiled their way into the Tootle Puffers Club.
Let's have some fun. Let's find out who actually IS a Tootle Puffer, and let's define it!*
Are YOU a Tootle Puffer? What does that mean!!!
*And before you ask, no, I'm NOT making another spreadsheet!
On last Sunday's show, Kevin interviews SmokeyJoe on VP LIve regarding the deeming regulations and other nonsense.
Can't link to it since there's swearing, but might be worth a listen.

Trying to find my happy place.......
I have been playing around with ohms and watts more since I got into rebuilding and have found sub ohming changes the flavors too much for me and the throat hit gets a bit harsh.
Tootle puffing does not satisfy my need for thick rich vapor.
Still looking for my version of perfection. I have gotten close with a few higher ohm builds that still get pretty good vapor production, but I just haven't gotten my vape nirvana yet.
Maybe I need to meditate over my builds?
I remember when I started vaping 3 years ago, the transition was hard and I had many relapses. I started with stick style batteries which were far and different than smoking a cigarette. It was like sucking through a straw for 7+ seconds, with little vapor and throat hit/satisfaction at the end. It worked for a while then I relapsed back to cigarettes. I tried Ego-Batteries with 1.0-1.5ohm cartos/tanks, it came close but so many dry hits, and it still wasnt much like a cigarette so I relapsed again, then towards the end of last year, I picked up a vaporshark and started vaping <1.0ohm coils in tanks/RDA's and it got me hooked, it was very much like smoking a cigarette. 2-4second drags, throat hit, and nicotine delivery.
which comes to my second question, I know there is this whole thing of 'cloud chasers' and 'tootle puffers', but what kept you on vaping and didnt make you relapse? For the cloud chasers, was it the visual aspect? The hobby of vaping, the want to get more and bigger visuals out of clouds, or more throat hit and similarity to smoking with clouds just as a side effect? And for the tootle puffers, did you just get used to taking longer drags compared to smoking, have you tried subohming at high wattage and just found longer less direct throathit was more satisfying to you when compared to smoking?
it makes me wonder how people come to their desired vaping setups, if they came by them by trying to find something similar to smoking, or just fell into something completely new that they enjoy even more.
when I think of how I ended up at subohming on mechs, from starting on egos/30-40w devices. I believe it has to do with me chasing that way i used to smoke, 2-4second drags on newports. For those of you that subohm or low watt vape, what type of cigarettes did you use to smoke before you switched? this could be helpful information for people reccomending setups to those who want to make the switch to vaping.
Most of this time has been Tootle puffin. IT works for me.
I have tried Low ohm, high watts. waste of juice, Not a lot like smoking for me.
Love the Tootle Puffin
TWO YEARS
Don’t you feel low wattage pod system flavour is weak as compare to tank/pod-mod high wattage Vape flavour
Has your Juice Consumption increased much if your uesing a sub ohm tank RTA, RDA with high wattage device.
I bet Juice Vendors are loving this trend.
Please share you observations if you've noticed you are using more juice. Or less juice but I doubt that Also throw in how much you've cut your nic and how much.
I've always wondered whats better for efficiency. In a regulated mod I can't imagine it really makes a difference in vape performance, I'm currently keeping my builds at a lower resistance by winding parallel coils. My goto build comes to about 0.4ohms and I run it in the range of 28-38w, usually set at 32w, if I wound it in series it would be around 1.6ohm which would need about 7v to get to 30w and at my Aegis solos max voltage of 8v would provide 40w. The only issue with this is that it limits the wattage range you can run at, since I sometimes do crank this build upto 42w, although it does start to burn above 45w.
The one advantage of running at a high voltage and a lower current is that theoretically there should be less energy loss in the transmission of power to the coils (like in the pin, the posts and the wiring connecting the 510), although depending on the construction of the mod/tank it may not be significant enough to provide any benifit. I can imagine that it's not that simple either as the mod is having to boost the voltage more which may cause the voltage conversion efficiency to suffer. Although in my dual cell mod it may be benificial since the input voltage is around 6.4-8.4v, although I tend to use this for my higher wattage builds.
This may just be me because I'm obsessed about how much voltage is dropped across cables, I always use the high quality wiring and keep it as short as possible because it is actually quite surprising how much energy you can loose through a cheap cable. Even good quality wire at higher amps can drop a significant amount of power.
