Ipv4

Hello everyone, I feel like I should post this in the Beginner's Thread. I bought an IPV4 today and it is my first temp control, non-built-in battery mod. I need help! LOL like with everything. I tell you my gear. The IPV4 of course, a Nitecore D2 charger, a pair of Imeren 18650 batteries, 5 Kanger OCC nickel coils and 2 .3 Atlantis coils. Along with an Atlantis V1 and pair of Kanger subtanks. Now I know, some of you are probably thinking people like me shouldn't have temp control but please humor me I want to learn.
Basically my first question is where do I start? How do I get to temp control on this mod? Where should I set it for these Nickel coils? Should I leave it at the same setting for regular coils? How do I get to joules? Where should I set those? Ok, let's just start with that. Is there a place online I can get a tutorial?
Sorry to be like a kid trying to learn to ride a bike, but as anyone that owns one of these things knows, the instructions don't say much. Thank you all for any help given, I know there are some real pros here.  

I recently got an ipv4 and wasn't getting good results as I had never worked w/ nickel wire BEFORE.While trolling the web I ran across a suggestion on twisting 28g kanthal w/ 28g nickel. It made all the Difference.Does any one have any advice on getting the most from t.c. devices ?  

So I'm looking into buying a temp controlled mod for my next purchase. Ideally, I would be getting the VaporFlask with the DNA40 board. Problem is, I dont have $300 usd to drop on it. Sooo....

I was thinking about the FT clone, and was about 3 clicks away from making the purchase when a friend tells me about the IPV4 pre-order over on the bay. The DNA40 has temp control and goes up to 40 watts (duh) but from what I have read, the IPV4 also has temp control and goes up to 100 watts. I'll never use all 100 watts BUT sometimes will vape above 40 watts. I like that both are dual 18650 and have the temp control function (I'm dying to play with some nickel wire) I'd really like some opinions

Any thoughts on the VaporFlask clones from FT? Would it be worth it for me to wait for the IPV4?

For those of you with a IPV4, Jwraps now has wraps for the device. Enclosed is a pic. They are 18.50 but when you choose IPV4 depending on the wrap it will subtract $3 to $6  

Hi all first off like to say thanx to everyone who answers my newbie question. You guys been alot of help. My vapeing knowledge is improving. Now I have another one for you guys . I am looking to get the most flavor out of my vapes. I own a ipv4 a mutilation x v4 a tugboat and kanger submini and a eleaf 50 watt. I have 26g kanthal 24g kantal . What is any should I get for more flavor . What kinda build should I do ? How many wraps? Please give me a full Break down on the way to get best flavor possible . Juice with more vg I am so new and lost thanx in advance

Have been getting into vaping on temp control (DNA40) devices with Nickel Wire builds in RDAs. Does anyone have experience with cleaning these builds to extend life? You can't dry-burn Nickel Wire the way you can Kanthal so I haven't figured out a way to clean these builds other than rinsing as well as possible and rewicking.

Hate the idea of having to rebuild every time but if that is what needs to happen I'll do it.  

VapingwithTwisted420 is using Spider Silk titanium wire for his temp controlled reviews.

I have an allergy to Nickel and have been using TI wire on my IPV4. Definitely something to consider.

Anyone have the perfect sweet spot for the ivp4 with subtank nickel coils? As you can see, I'm at 20J, 330F, 1.6v and the coil is reading it's exact ohms of .15. It feel like a pretty week hit but when I move up to 350, I get that nasty hit gag taste. I'm using a vanilla custard tobacco juice that is 75vg. Anyone able to get a better draw out of this setup? Any advice on bumping it up a tad?

so I thought I'd post my question here..
I have two IPV4's that have been great running kanthel builds in the power mode,
but I really don't see a difference running the NI200 Atlantis coils in joules mode using the Temperature Control feature of the IPV4..In fact I get a burnt taste in the Atlantis after vaping a tank of juice running the .12 ohm NI200 coil from Vapor Shark..
Now the mod hits great with the kanthel coils in the Starre and Herkakes sub tanks and is great with the .2 ohm kanthel build in the Dark horse at 65w (power mode) but so far TC has been a real disappointment for me

i wanna see what the ecig forum guys are vaping on tonite!! starting with me I'm vamping my ipv4 with my kanger sub ohm mini running the ni200 nickel coil head vaping on one of my favorites for the last week or so... the kennedy by conspiracy vapors and next tank it reserved for some good ole milk and honey by cosmic fog
