if I put the batteries in the wrong way will it tell me if they are in wrong? will it fire if they are put in the wrong way?
Hey guys, sorry if I post this in the wrong place, but I didn't find a sub forum that seems appropriate.
So, I have a BCV Surfrider clone (hybrid) and it has been working great but all the sudden this last weekend I noticed one of my batteries just stopped working.. not a big deal. So I put in another battery. Still not working. So I was playing around and I noticed that my button got extremely hot. I took the battery out and noticed that it was hotter than I've ever felt.
I was playing around with it to see if something is wrong, but everything seems fine. I accidentally put in the battery backwards and it worked fine like how it used to.
Anyone have any idea what is causing this?
hi, i have been vaping with same setting for 2 years :
Regulated mod, Single coil rda, 2.5 mm alien coil 0.25 ohm, 30-35 watt, 18560 sony batteries.
I have been using the same batteries over and over for 2 years.
And I consider my self an expert when its come to my setting i mean I really know when its wicking issue or burnt coil or wrong coil position, 510 contact, battery contact etc ....
The thing now is that i feel some thing wrong with my vape, i dont feel it hit hard as it was before, it do spitback the ejuice to my mouth, flavor is little bit down.
So what i am asking is :
- could it be the batteries since I abused them?
- Is it possible that my mod show 30watt in the screen and doesn’t manage to deliver that 30 watt to the coil?
- I know as fact that long time used batteries have less capacity so they will charge and discharge fast, but i wonder if they also will be weak and don't hit hard enough in compared with its original states ?
I bought a sigelie 150w recently and it was a deal where it comes with two batteries, I wanna know if these are good batteries.
they are yellow and all it says on it is "LGDBHE41865" are these good batteries to use for my sigelie 150w?
I just got it today, and the batteries wouldn’t fit but I finally pushed them in. I don’t know too much about voltage but it says R on the left side, and u on the right side on the main screen. It’s at 0.27 voltage where it says R, and nothing for U. Is there something wrong with the voltage or the battery?
Hey guys.. i been vaping for a while and not had this hapen before.. i am using a Hugo Vapor Rader and ot has been working with no problems until today... when i go to use it, when i try to fire, it says high atomizer the first time i push fire button followed by low battery (have tried multiple sets) when i press again. If i persevere and keep attempting to fire it works fine as if there were no problem until the next time i go to use the device when the process repeats.. i have taken the tank apart and cleaned and put back but the issue continues.. anyone have any ideas on what is wrong/what i should do?
Okay so I did look this up and it appears that other people have mentioned this specifically with sigelei mods but I didn't see any that were more recent. I look at my mod to see what my batteries charge looks like to see if I need to go ahead and change batteries and I swear to God the thing starts jumping around as though the batteries are charging themselves and then going back to the 40%. Apparently that's a problem that the mods have and isn't something to be concerned about but it freaked me the heck out. They're doing just fine now that they're in their external charger thingy but I just want to make sure that that's not a sign of something going wrong with the batteries that it's just my mod being weird I've checked the connections and everything to make sure it was clean and that the batteries were fine and not dented or unwrapped and everything looks good. I just need some assurance that the batteries were not like failing or that a regulated mod would shut itself off if batteries were jumping around like crazy in reality if that's even possible
For clarification it was doing this when I was not firing it
So I have (2) 3100mAh Efest batteries rated @ 20A and (1) 2500mAh Efest batterie rated @ 35A. I'm experiencing a pretty annoying problem with all 3 of them and that is they aren't lasting nearly as long as I feel they should be. I can EASILY vape through a battery in less than one hour while heavy vaping. I'm aware that I am sub-ohming and that requires more power from the battery but these are just going way too fast and something isn't right. I have a BEC Pro mod that takes a single 18650 battery and I'm vaping an Aspire Atlantis tank @ 35 watts with the .5 ohm coil installed. I charge each battery fully with a Nitecore i2 before using them and it'll say 4.2V on my mod & on my Smart BEC app it will say 100% as I take my first few puffs but then starts draining at a ridiculous rate until they are dead. I am not aware what the mod efficiency is on my BEC Pro or if there might be something not working properly within my device. Can someone please help me find what's wrong with these? Maybe some of you have eperienced this problem with Efest batteries in the past? Thanks in advance!
Edit: These are genuine Efest batteries as I bought them straight from the manufacture on Ebay.
Okay guys, first of all, sorry if this is in the wrong section, was unsure where to post this warning.. I just want to show you guys my experience with eGo chargers.. I'm unsure of where I got this one, I think it came with my Vision Spinner battery, I'm pretty sure the supplier just bundled it with a crappy cheapy one.. Here's what happened to mine:

I noticed after a weird flashing occurred on the LED, the battery LED was constantly flashing, I noticed that the plastic had caved in and I thought I had stepped on it or something, but nope! The whole thing was melting and it smelt absolutely horrible, I opened it up and I noticed that one of the capacitors on the PCB had burnt out.. Be careful with chargers and NEVER leave batteries charging unattended, this could've caused a serious problem if it had caught fire.. Please be safe everyone!
A future that looks very bleak for vapers here in Europe. So I keep stocking up on stuff that I hope will see me through the worst of it. I recently got a small mod that takes interchangeable batteries. However it is the vv kind. My question is - supposing whatever controls the vv dies, would the mod still be functional?
Sorry if this is in the wrong place but it seems like a general question and I couldn't find a specific place for it.
Hi I just got a sigelei 100 watt plus and this is my first time using freshly charged batteries in it... it's still reading at being 100% in the sigelei. ive been using it for maybe 3 hours total . Is this normal .. because its starting to make me wonder if something is wrong. Its been at 40 to 50 watts this whole time. I didnt charge the batteries at first when i got them because my charger did not arrive yet...then once it did come i charged them and now its continuing to stay at 100%
