Finally got fed up with my subtank dry hits, and the cost of my nautilus coils so I decided to dig out my mutation and dark horse a couple weeks ago. Now I fear that I ruined tanks forever!! I don't remember being this happy with dripping last go around. After a weeks and a half of dripping I tried my tanks again and they just leave me wholly unsatisfied.... Is it a lost cause?? Have a ruined tanking!!
I have to wonder, with the latest advances in new tanks, if dripping is still as popular as it was. Personally I have a few tanks so good that it would be hard to tell the difference. And that's without the constant fiddling, not to mention the whole building coils hassle. Don't get me wrong. I have NOTHING against dripping. I just wonder if it will become old school soon. What do you say?
I have an IPV4 and I bought it for battery life (dual efest 2800 mah) and I really like the feel. I use a Subtank Plus and kanthal coiled rdas in wattage mode with the TC turned off. Can this damage the mod? I haven't had any problems with using it this way. I get a full day of sub ohm-ing or dripping and it's everything I wanted in a mod with features that I may use in the future. I just don't want to find out later "you really should have used the temp control, that's why you ruined your mod". Please advise.
I used to be one of those who thought the whole dripping thing was dumb.
After getting tired of buying coils for my atlantis, I decided to pop in to the store and pick up my first RDA.
I settled on the dark horse. I watched a short tutorial on youtube and built my first coil at 0.6 ohms.
Safe to say the atlantis and nautilis will go into retirement today.
I have never felt a nic buzz from vaping, but I can actually feel a buzz off this thing : I vape my atlantis at 3mg.
Also I love that I simply have to re wick and drip to try new flavours, and best of all NO MORE BUYING COILS.
So here's my question. First I'll start with some background to hopefully avoid questions in the future. I've been vaping for about 3 months. I have a eleaf 30w, that I usually use a nautilus/ atlantis tank on. I also have a sigelei 150w, that I use a plume veil and dark horse on. So my question is that I really like the cool vape that I get with the eleaf on my tanks. I have been tinkering with the the 150 w/ the dark horse and I finally think I found a build that gives me that same feeling. I would like to know thoughts on if the M80 would assist me in accomplishing this further on my builds with the TC.
Hey everyone,
I've been vaping for about two years now, and have decided to start dripping. For the last few weeks, I have been dripping on an IGO-W, 26G Kanthal single coil (7 wrap micro coil reading at 0.8ohms) on my iStick 30w.
I just recently purchased a new battery that should arrive today, and was wondering if anyone had advice/tips on producing some fat clouds! Dual Coils? Different coil builds? Number of wraps? Watts to vape at? I think you get the picture lol.
The items I will be using are as follows:
-SMOK XPRO M80 Plus
-IGO-W
-26 Gauge Kanthal Wire
-Japanese Organic Cotton
- 80vg/20pg Juices
All input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
-Tyler
When I first started vaping I always swore off building and dripping. I liked the ease of filling and vaping away. About 3 weeks ago I picked up my first rda. (Mutation x v4) it was ok and it leaked something awful so I set it aside. Well after watching mike vapes review of the troll I decided to pick it up. Just got it in today and threw a dual coil 24 gauge build in it. .came out to .34 ohms and vaping it at 60 watts on my m class. I haven't been able to put it down. I think I'm officially hooked on building and dripping. So glad I picked up this rda. Juice well is deep, holds lots of juice. For anyone who has been considering it, I'd recommend you pick it up. Here's a pic of my setup just for fun. I love my M class too! Vape on my friends!
well I finally got it in the mail today. And have really enjoyed vaping on it. Right now I just got the atlantis V2 on powerful plus mode. My atlantis nickel coils should be in Thursday so I can try out temp control in a couple of my tanks. I've also decided to try my hand at building even though I swore I never would. Got the mutation X V4 on the way as well. Hopefully this is a decent deck to build on. I am not a beginner really, I have wrapped a couple coils for my buddies and did a few builds on their attys. This vaping thing can get expensive! Vape they said, it'll be cheaper than smoking they said....pffft. lol
I've been using disposable clearomizers since I started vaping, with an 808 kit, and that's been working fine for me, but I came across a super cheap deal recently for a Kanger Evod starter kit, so I bought one. I paid about $14, so it was a no brainer.
The tanks have these disposable coils, but the tanks seem like that they can be re-used forever, as long as they don't crack or fall on the ground and break, is that correct?
I saw that they sell a glass tank for it also, so I think that I'm going to pick one of those up, and I'll be able to vape on any juice that I please, without the fear of the tank cracking, and I'm assuming that that tank will last for a very long time.
So far I'm pretty happy with the Kanger Evod, and I like the vape from it.
Me just like anybody else have been throwing out my teflon pans and replacing by ceramic. But just now I realized, what about dripping attys and teflon driptips? Do you think it could cause toxic fumes vaped at very high voltages? For the time being and just being on the safe side, I'm keeping them for tanks only.
I have had my istick 50w for about 24 hours now. I the issue I am having is that all my 1.8ohm tanks are reading 2.0ohms on the display of the iStick. This is the case for my Aspire ET-S and Nautilus Minis. On two occasions the Nautilus tanks have read 1.9. Never 1.8. Even with brand new coils. I get the same result on 4 Nautilus Minis and 3 ET-S tanks. I get the same results with the mod turned off when I screw on the tanks as I do with the mod turned on. Any ideas or suggestions?
