Weird Green Stuff?

Sundays at work are slow, we rarely see customers, so we mainly focus on store tech work and upkeep. My coworker and I finished all the back orders about 3 hours into an 8 hour shift. My Nemesis mod was getting pretty dirty and I haven't had a chance to clean the metal up in a few days, I also noticed the finish was getting very dull, nothing a bit of sand paper wont fix!

unfortunately I forgot to take a before picture, so sorry for lack of reference.

I started by using some 800 grit sand paper to remove the finish, then polished the mod with some 1200 grit for a smooth finish. the threads got cleaned, and every bit of oxidization was cleared off. going to finish it off with some 200 grit tomorrow and then give it a clear epoxy coat, but for now she is shiny and chuckin the vapes in style.

 

There was a thread yesterday about possibility of getting sick from cotton dust. So I decided to make a few pictures.

First picture - organic cotton ball. We can see cotton is rather clean, but not 100% clean.




Next picture - cotton fibers from the middle of Koh-Gen-Doh pads, it is also pretty clean.



And the last picture - the same Koh-Gen-Doh pad, just higher magnification.

Just wondering how to get a good clean of dirt and juice residue buildup on airflow base part for tanks and rda's. I find this part to be the hardest to clean. Not sure if you can run it under water or just try and get into the itty bitty cracks and crannies with a paper towel like I currently do. The tanks I use are mainly Nautlus Minis and Subtanks. The RDA's are freakshow, derringer, tobh, magma, etc. HOW do you get a good clean on the AIRFLOW CONTORL BASE/VALVE​?  

I don't have that much stuff yet - 4 or 5 devices, 3 tanks, some coils and under 20 bottles of pre-made juice. I've had it all in a plastic tote but that is rapidly getting too small for everything plus the boxes the tanks and devices came in - I save those.

You guys seem to have much larger collections of stuff and I just wondered how you keep everything separated/organized.

I'm thinking if I get into DIY ejuice I'm going to need a room for everything!

Hello everyone. I have a problem. I'm gonna need some help to get through this, I may not even make it. Who knows?

I'm addicted. Not the good kind. The kind that costs money... The kind that makes my long hours at work perish with the swipe of my debit card... I'm addicted to.. Upgrading.

So I'm in need some some help from the best of the best with you guys. I'm looking to upgrade! I'm currently looking into going from my istick50w and Subtank Mini, to a mech mod and rda. I'm gonna start my way with single coil builds, and go up to dual. I am thinking I have about $100 I want to work with, so can someone make some recommendations?!

I already have some cotton and kanthal from my rba with the subtank. I'm just looking for a good starter mech and battery set up, with a pretty decent rda. Now, since this is my first, I'm not biased at all against clones. I welcome them! As long as they are decent quality and get the job done, so be it!

But here's one catch: I don't really like shiny stuff, oddly enough. I mean brass, or really shiny silver. I don't like scratches that stuff seem to get in my pocket. I love stuff to look perfect all the time!

So any help or recommendations are greatly appreciated! I have no idea about batteries or their chargers, but I'm more than willing to educate myself.

Just a normal member but wanted to spread the word. I switch between this stuff and KGD.

sup, thanks for reading . I'm vaping for 3 years now, never had problem until now. I taste saltiness on my tongue after vaping for more than 10 seconds. I thought it might be coil so I changed them all. Maybe juice so i tried different ones different flavor. same thing.

I vaped for 3 years just Pomango and Menthol. Never had that problem. Recently I got into DIY Mixing so i ordered 14 different flavors and started experimenting. Mostly Peach, Mango, sweet mango CAP, Green Apple, Pomegranate. never went over % than whats recommended. After sweet Mango flavor CAP 5% solo flavor it started. I thought maybe its the mango flavor so Itried others and same thing, even Menthol. So its definitely something with my taste. I tried to eat lollipop candy and its there but barely noticeable because of the sugar from lolipop. Hmmmm.... Is it because i started experimenting with other flavors and I have so called"Vapers tongue " thingy?

When first time I tried mango and green apple , OMG it was spectacular taste!!!after few weeks now just salt mix with touch of sweetness and a litlle flavor on my tongue and I do let it go thru my nose and stuff too , to get most out of vaping experience, menthol is the strongest from them all that stays but its not the same as it was few weeks ago.


anybody had same issue? I found the thread from 2011 the guy had same issue.


18 days vaping - all juices now tasting salty sweet, but not in a good way.

I do feel,menthol,peach and other fruits flavor for 3-6 sec just after 10 seconds it becomes kinda salty on my tongue and lets see, umm upper patella of the jaw you call it? yeah... and im loosing flavor, very frustrating....

anyone can explain that or had similar experience?

I have, for several months, been resisting the temptation to buy a lot of stuff.
I know I am not alone, so this thread is a place you can congratulate yourself, proudly telling the world what you wanted, but did not buy.

- Did not buy a 40 Watt Kanger Box for like $18 today. Cuz then I'd need a subtank, too...
- DId not buy a nifty squonker I saw on ebay
- Did not buy about 3 different atties I might like from Catfish Atty Mods
- Did not buy a custom button for my Reo. Oh, wait...yes, I did.  

I know the topic of how to get VG film off glass surfaces has been well explored in past threads. But I just "discovered " by rinsing my reading glasses off in plain tap water and a good wipe dry with a paper towel that water will clean it. I'm gonna do that to my car if I ever get out of the house long enough to do something useful. I've tried various glass cleaners and they never seem to get it all. But water did on my glasses so...just a thought..  

I know, I know... this topic has been discussed to death. And, I am in the process of searching now.
I have a TFV8 tank that started leaking a week or two ago. I tried all the usual tricks (empty and clean all parts, don't over tighten, replace o rings, etc). Nothing helped. After a few days of covering the mod with a paper towel everytime I took a drag, I decided to buy a new tank. The new TFV8 arrived yesterday afternoon, and after checking it out and filling it with juice, it is doing the exact same thing.
We are not talking about a drop leaking here and there, it is leaking the whole tankful in less than two hours.

Any suggestions?
