Anyone know of any hybrid mech mods? (Direct atomizer to battery connection)
So I've been vaping now for almost 5 months. I own 4 different regulated mods, many sub ohm tanks and a few rda's. I'm wanting to pick up a mech mod, but not sure which would be better. I'm pretty much looking at either the nemesis clone or the stingray x clone. Any thoughts on which is better, or any other mechs that I may want to look into?
Hello very basic question I love dripping and do it all day my one problem is with the mech mods I have I cannot place them down with out locking them or they fire sometimes anyone know of a good clone that will not fire when placed down maybe one with a recessed button of sort?
I currently have a F U and a Stingray infinity
A general question for your opinion please. Modern Mods and Mod Kits of all the different brands, are they all much the same regarding quality and reliability "Toyotas and VW's" and should one therefore shop by price and obviously cosmetics you prefer or is it worth paying a premium on some because they are Rolls Royce's and will last for longer (If you don't crash them.)?
I've been vaping in subohm territory on bigger (non cigalikes) mods for the past year or so, on 0.3-0.7 coils regularly with VV/VW mods only with a range of 30-40watts. I started looking for mech mods recently and picked some up, then picked me up some VTC4's. After trying to figure out builds and such, I discovered Nichrome 80 (I exclusively used Kanthal A1). Come to find out Nichrome 80 is more malleable, and doesnt last as long as Kanthal, I was deterred but looked more into it. The rampup time on Nichrome seems to be much quicker, and the Nichrome 80 gives less resistance per ft compared to Kanthal A1 (same gauge). Recently I've been vaping 0.17-0.3ohm coils and Its the closest thing to a quick drag form a lit cigarette ive ever vaped.
0.17ohms on a mech w/ sony vtc4
I believe I will be purchasing a sigelei 100w soon, so I wont have to 'build for the mod'. 100W vaping is pretty nice not having to take 3+sec long drags, with 0 rampup time. So yeah, I get why the sigelei mods are popular now. I didnt really bash on em I just never understood them, but now I do . Short, Quick, Drags. Very satisfying.
Herro!
So, I always used to use mech mods from about 6 months to a year and a half into vaping. For the last 6 months I've been on regulated (iStick 30W and 50W).
When I switched to regulated I retired my mech mods and 18650 batteries to the closet. I made sure they were all around 50% charged because I heard from someone on here that was the best condition to leave them.
Well recently I've had this curiosity to try them again, only for at home use, mainly for the novelty of it.
So, my question is, what will I have to do to revive these batteries? Are they safe to just throw back on the charger and use when fully charged? Or are they not safe to use?
Batteries: 4 Sony VTC 4's (all were acquired about a month before I stopped using mechs), 2 XTAR (Sony) VTC 4's (about a year old now) , 2 MXJO 2500mah (20A LG's) (about a year old now).
Let me know! Thank you!

I've been vaping for almost a year; mainly regulated VW mods. Recently I discovered my affinity for Mech Mods and, in the interest of battery safety, I am having a tough time telling when I should swap out my batteries. I've heard that it's not a good thing to over-discharge them, but how can you tell if/when that might be happening? I tend to err on the paranoid side and swap them out every couple of hours or so. Any tips about this? Is it just kind of a "feel" thing learned with experience?
Thanks!

Most people justify vaping to smoking because it's healthier, and to some, cheaper, but what is it that you enjoy most out of vaping? The nic fix, the shiny mech mods, the high powered box mods, the clouds?
Personally, I love the flavor of vaping the most, along with my house and vehicles not smelling like an ashtray. I'm sure a lot of other people can attest to this too, but having a big collection of gear is pretty cool, too. I figured there would come a time when I'd cut back on spending, but it seems like with the selection of vape stuff out there today, just makes me want more. It's like it never ends.
Whats your favourite part of vaping?
Hi everyone I'm looking for a usa supplier and a person who can ship mech mods to me here in michigan. Please help me find someone I can trust.
So I currently have an ipv mini that goes to 30 watts, a couple mech mods I never use anymore, and a Hana knockoff (didn't know, or wouldn't have bought. Got it back when I was a clueless noob).
I am insanely jealous of, and constantly use, my friend's Sig 150watt. What I like about it is just that, the wattage. I love vaping at 65-70 watts. Sometimes higher. So I know m just for the sake of saving money later, I want something that gets AT LEAST 100 watts.
But now these tempature regulated mods have hit the market and I have heard wonderful things about the flavor. But is there any that go above 100 watts worth knowing about?
So now I don't know if I should get the Sig 150, the ipv 3...or go down in wattage some but get tempature control. Any suggestions, help, and wisdom is greatly appreciated.
