I just watched a review for this new RDA, and I'm very interested. Has anyone used/bought one yet? RT had issues with the o-rings failing which a cause for concern, but other than that it looks awesome. Lots and lots of airflow options.
Manufactured by Sparkle Technology which appears to the 'authentic' subdivision of Infinite, a well known producer of quality clones.
Features:
12 different adjustable airflow combinations.
22mm diameter.
Copper adjustable 510 connector.
PEEK internal AFC rings and base for optimal thermal regulation.
Engineered to create a vortex inside the chamber.
303 grade stainless steel.
Solid three post setup for durability on dual or single coil builds.
Posts are squared for even better reliability.
Three squared off outer shells give this RDA its rhomboid look and also provide airflow control through the rotation of the center piece around four magnetic stop points. The inner body is cylindrical, with an air ported top cap sitting on a 3 post deck, and a copper adjustable 510 center pin.
Bit a a novelty item perhaps.
Hello
I have the wotofo serpent rta top airflow single coil tank now and I just purchased the augvape druga rta. Flavor is 100% better in the augvape drugA rta but juice leaks out the bottom of the tank every time which is why I have to stay with top airflow as it never has leaked on me. So I’m looking for a top airflow rta single coil . I typically vape between 20-30watts so I don’t need a powerhouse. I just want the flavor and don’t care about clouds. Can anyone recommend the best top airflow rta? The wotofo serpent works well but it takes a hit on flavor. The serpent only has 2 small air holes around the coil area and I think this is why it isn’t producing a good vape. I was looking at the Zeus? Augvape intake of the dual one? Or any others anyone can recommend ?
primary goal: outstanding flavor
No leaking
Lots of air holes around the coil
thanks for your time
A couple days ago I met a guy at a party, and everytime he would take a hit of his mod it would make this whirring sound. Turns out he just picked up the new Turbo RDA by Tobeco which was designed by their USA Team "Ohm Nation". I have to say it is very innovative. I have never seen anything like it so of course I asked him the name and where he purchased it from. I finally got my hands on one and its a great RDA with the proper build. The whole design of it is a B+ the reason for that is...the airflow control (which is the upper piece and where the fan is mounted) is made out of plastic which is a big downside because once you get your coils fired up, the plastic SLOWLY begins to met and in my case, melted in peices of the wick. Other than that, the post are wide so it can accommodate lower gauge wires. The posts are also milled into the deck to prevent the posts from spinning and they also give you a super wide bore glass drip tip. Its also constructed out of 304 stainless steel. Overall, i am pretty happy with it and one of the builds that i believe best suits this is 20g Nichrome 5 Wraps. Its super hot, the fan definitely gets put to work and you're getting a lot vapor production.
It is definitely stands out on design and is DIFFERENT to what we usually see out there which I do love about this RDA. It's great that companies are getting creative and trying new things with the products they are creating. I do hope they revisit this and make the next one with a stainless steel airflow control. Other than that, wow.
Okay, so i'm a dripper...... I only tried one RTA and it was an orchid. I don't like using it a lot because it is a "pressurized" tank, so if I take the top off to fill the tank and tighten it down, it pushes the juice out of the airflow holes. I HATE FILLING IT FROM THE BOTTOM HOLE!!!!!!! It takes 2 freaking years to fill it up and ain't nobody in my line of work got time for that!
Does anyone have a recommendation for an RTA that I can fill from the top easily, that IS an RTA. I will never buy a coil at a store, I prefer to make my own. Yes I test, Yes I sub-ohm, Yes I know all about battery safety, I just know absolutely nothing about RTA's.
Needs:
"Airy" airflow option. Can be adjustable but not necessary.
Top Fill
Single OR Dual option
AAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDD......... GO.
All these cry babys on you tube whining about their authentic or clone atomizers O rings
Don't cha know that's what blistex was made for
geeze.. people think ...
Noob tip #2--- DO NOT get blistex carmex whatever your lip goo of choice is in the fill holes of your kayfun v4's chimney
that would not be beneficial
Your all very welcome lube them o rings !!
Hi there my adjustable connector "screw" in my 510 on my vapour flask v2 has became a bit worn and was wondering if anyone knew where i could get a new pin/screw
First off, I would like to say that I’m very new to vaping. I started off with a JUUL, then a Smok Novo 2, and eventually got sick of buying pods.
Now I have a Hellvape MD, and an Ares 2 - the first provides better flavor, but it’s still not comparable to what I was getting in my pod systems. I just recently purchased a BP Mods Pioneer, and I’m hoping that gives me better results. I’m using an Aegis Mini for a mod.
I’m trying to figure out what I’m doing wrong, because it’s really frustrating to spend all this money for worse flavor, when I was hoping it would let me save money.
I have about 40 bottles of salt nic flavors that are 50 or 35 mg, and a couple 3mg freebase I bought (120ml for $7 seemed like a steal). I would really like to get away from the salt nic, but I seem to get even worse flavor from the 3mg.
I’m using 2.5ID 28ga SS316L round wire from Master Wire Supply (I have a spool) with Puffs Organic Cotton. My coils are usually .7ohms, but I’ve tried up to 1ohm. I’ve also tried 1 ohm Vandy Vape Superfine MTL fused claptons, and experienced similar results.
I’m using the MD with the most restrictive airflow settings (3 small hole airflow disk), low (2-3) adjustable AFC setting. I have my coil as low as possible to the airflow, and I have thinned / fluffed my wicks.
I haven’t tried adjusting the airflow below the coil on the Ares 2, because the video instructions say wide open airflow below the coil is the best for flavor (I have found the opposite to be true for the MD).
Can someone provide me more insight?
Will 2mm ID coils with the same amount of wraps taste better than 2.5? Do coil ohms do anything for flavor, or does it only change how fast it heats up? Will I lose flavor if my coils hang outside the diameter of the airflow disk?
Is there a certain type of coil that would give me better flavor than regular round wire?
I use TC at 420F 20 watts
Any kind of feedback is appreciated and if I left anything out or you have questions about my set up that could help me out please ask! I’m at a loss on what to do, and it seems like no amount of research is helping
Can one man have it all? We'll see.
There's 3 things I really wish I could combine in my vape setup:
-Mesh coils
-A small flavorful chamber
-And the ability to squonk my e-liquid in.
I really love how mesh coils never seem to burn, and they give you next level flavor from their surface area, the problem I've experienced is all the RDA's that are designed to hold mesh are frankly garbage (the ones I've tried), the best I've tried is the Profile RDA. The profile does the job but it's airflow is either WAY too wide open giving you a cold and almost dry hit (still great flavor though), or if you twist it to shut half the airflow off it's not even being directed at the coil anymore and you get a spitty, starting-to-burn-but-still-somehow-cold hit. My favorite RDA I tried last year and have never looked back on is the Recurve, even using normal stainless steel 31 coils, it blows the Profiles flavor out of the water due to it's smaller volume chamber and perfect airflow holes, and provides a rich, warm, satisfyingly dense hit. THE PROBLEM with the recurve is that it's not designed to accept mesh as you traditionally need a flat clamp to lock your mesh ribbon into place.
Well I got a bug up my butt and had some time on my day off so I decided to make it work. It was alot easier than I thought it was going to be, I simply twisted the end of a strip of mesh so that it could be inserted into the Recurves circular wire mount hole, I pre-heated the mesh to temper it so it would lose it's springiness and wrapped it around a diameter smaller than 3mm so that when it relaxed it would be about 3mm, it worked surprisingly well (I also cut the mesh ribbon so that it was half it's original width, otherwise you wouldn't be able to make one wrap without exceeding the width of the chamber. The only tricky part was getting the terminal end of the coil to land perfectly in the other mount screw while keeping the diameter consistent, I just kept trimming the end and twisting as needed until it was a perfect fit, and looked good. Once everything was mounted it was alot more cooperative, and I simply teased it with tweezers until no parts of the helix were touching (so-as to avoid hotspots, in the picture you can see a hotspot that I fixed near the mounting screw where it was touching the actual body of the RDA, a little nudge fixed that). I then wicked it so it was fairly snug, and at this point everything pretty much stays exactly where you move it, super easy to position where you want it.
The coil ended up being 0.56ohms, and I'm running it temperature controlled at 450F, and I've been vaping pretty hard on it for the past two hours and it's amazing. My honeydew e-liquid got doubly sweeter, the notes a little bit more obvious, and because the recurve has a small chamber it's dense and warm too with no spitting whatsoever. I'm also noticing the wick doesn't dry out as quick. If they could come out with a Recurve with mesh clamps I think it would be a GAME CHANGER.
Let me be the guinea pig for a few days if you're thinking about trying it, it feels too good to be true (besides saying a few curse words installing it) and I'm sure there's a problem I'm not finding yet haha. I'll report back if anyone is interested!
The Tank He Gave Me Is A SMOKE TFV12 Prince Tank:
And it came with what appears to be green O-Rings (2 of them) about half an inch in diameter does anyone know what these are for? Aside from the color, they look like the ones pictured below. (I know what the white thing is used for it's the O-Rings that I am not sure about).
(The manual didn't tell me and I went onto the company website where it said the full manual was but couldn't find it.)
I'm about to venture into doing my own builds and I had a silly question. I have watched dozens of videos on how to do builds and have even done a couple builds on some of my friends attys. I have one friend who on all his dual builds he uses two coils with different wraps. For example one coil with 7 wraps and one with 5. Does anyone else build this way? I have never asked him why he does this and in all the videos I've watched I've never seen anyone else do it. Is there a specific reason? Just curious
