"The Flavor Of Lung Damage: Some E-Cigarette Varieties May Be More Harmful Than Others : LIFE : Tech Times"
Opinions?
Was there a rebuttal?
I just came across this article, claiming that even nicotine-free e-liquids contain lung-harming substances like acrolein:
Nicotine-Free E-Cigarette Vapor Also Damages Lung Cells Lung Cancer News Today
What I hate about articles such as these is that they're almost always posted with some scary headline and usually end up saying there isn't a proper research into topic or they're awaiting further investigations.
Anyhow, can anyone comment on what 'acrolein' is? I've heard of formaldehyde being created when vaping on high wattage, but this is the first time I hear of acrolein.
I just got a Delta II tank as an entree to sub ohming after a disastrous adventure with a MELO. Strangely enough, though, while blowing an occasional cloud at 30 watts is fun, I find I also like running it with the air flow pretty restricted on the tank and at 14-16 watts on the regulated mod and taking mouth hits. Really nice flavor and "just right" (to me) vapor production.
Is running a sub-ohm coil at low wattage potentially causing any damage to my mod (iStick 30w) or my tank?
Hi, I am a mouth to lung vapor (just like smoking a cigarette). I use the Innokin Kroma A mod with the Zenith Tank. I use a 1.6 ohm coil at 9.5 watts. I know that there are better set-ups for me and am looking for suggestions. I am not a cloud chaser but just want good flavor and a coil that lasts. I don't know if I vape too much but I have totally lost the taste, I use Red Drop from Mountain Oak Vapors. I have always been weary of vaping at high wattages but don't know much about it. Please help!!! Thanks. Mark
New research reveals 27 new deadly hazards from e-cigarettes | Anti-THR Lies and related topics
"A new study out of the University of Minnesota revealed the deadly effect of e-cigarette liquid on rodents. They dropped 55-gallon drums of e-cigarette liquid on rats, from varying heights. The found that for even relatively modest heights no greater than those found in ordinary houses that are home to children there was a nearly total fatality rate."
Like some pretty girl would make a bad wife for you,but some ugly girl would be a good wife for you.
Traditional people who are not update on the science of vaping and cigarette thinks that vaping is more harmful because of the amount of vapour it produce instead of cigarette where less amount of smoke is visible.Thats probably why the amount of vapour a vape produce while cigarette too can be deceiving in terms of health harm/risk
I had my batteries in a toolbox while I was moving and it started pouring on the way to new house.
Everything in my toolbox still works after getting damp.
Main concern is, Can I still put these batteries in my mod or is water damage to batteries actually "damage"?
I enjoy vaping in the following way:
1. Mouth to lung
2. Lung to lung
3. Lung to mouth to lung back into mouth through left nostril
4. Mouth to right nostril back to mouth to lung to left nostril
5. Lung to mouth back to lung
6. Lung to lung to lung back to mouth through left nostril out right ear into mouth back to lung (personal fav)
What's your favorite inhale technique?
I "successfully" quit vaping for 2 month. It actually wasn't that bad, I was able to fill the void with music/gum/walks. Right now I have 0 physical temptation to vape.
But there has been many stressful situations and I feel without the vape it made everything harder. To me, it's not that I had to have it, but it was something enjoyed. And taking it away made life a little less fun. It's like saying you can never eat candy or drink coffee again.
The only reason I quit was for the health benefits. I heard vaping can cause COPD but then I also hear it's a lot less harmful than smoking. But here's the thing that really demotivates one from quitting vaping:
We are not sure how harmful is it (if at all)
There are many other things bad for us in life, like air pollution, asbestos, etc. Is it worth giving up something that you enjoy for a marginal health benefit? I vape at a low wattage so I don't think I'm getting lots of formaldehydes.
I'm really thinking about going back to vaping. I think I'll vape a few more years and if news comes out by then that vaping is truly really bad, then I'll quit...
I don't know... it's not like we are going to live forever even if we don't vape/smoke/do anything unhealthy...
I'm looking for an RDA based on flavor for open lung/dtl. I'm open to single or dual coils although I am partial to dual. Open on size, but again partial to 24mm. I have the Twisted Messes 24pro which provides massive hits, but is a little blan on flavor, even with the eclipse cap. Recommendations?
hi all just got a joy tech delta 2 am wanting to try lung hits but I only have 10mg juice would this be okay as I see most people do this will 3 to 6mg juice
