I was vaping on my subtank mini on top of a cana clone and it was working fine until the screen started glitching. It would only show like half the screen or the screen would be all jumbled up and it wouldn't fix until I turned it on and off a couple times. I took out the battery and let it sit overnight and when I popped in a new battery today the screen isn't lighting up at all, also its firing a lot weaker, and randomly locking itself. What can I do?
Hey there! I'm hoping someone with a voopoo drag mini could chime in and help me out if possible.
When I'm using the mod and the battery is about to go down a bar in battery on the screen, it will go down 1 bar then bounce back to full. Then I take a puff again and it will go down a bar and a few seconds later go back to full. It does this maybe 10 to 15 times or so before it actually drops down and settles to the next bar of battery. Is this normal?
I know when I use my mobile phone if the battery percentage drops down a bar or say goes from 80% to 79% it won't bounce back up it will just stay at 79 and eventually go to 78.
Thanks in advance!
One of you guys suggested the Voopoo drag x when I discussed my 20th vape device no longer charging through the USB mini. It was a Geekvape which they claim are indestructible. Of course they don't mention how the USB port is a cheap piece of garbage that will eventually fail even when treated delicately. I received the Voopoo drag x in the mail a couple days ago. I didn't realize it doesn't come with a battery so I picked up an IR18650-25R 20A 3.7V battery at a local vape shop. It was working beautifully for about a half hour and then it would just turn off. Even if I pushed the buttons or clicked five times, it wouldn't power up unless I took out the battery, put it back in and then clicked five times. Then I would get a few puffs and it would turn off again. Then today, I started receiving a message that said "atomizer short". I kept getting this message over and over even if I took out the coil and put it back in. Occasionally, it would start working again, but between the device powering off and the atomizer short problem, it's more or less unusable. It was only about $60 in total so no biggie. So now I'm shopping around for my 22nd vape device. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Hey guys, sorry if I post this in the wrong place, but I didn't find a sub forum that seems appropriate.
So, I have a BCV Surfrider clone (hybrid) and it has been working great but all the sudden this last weekend I noticed one of my batteries just stopped working.. not a big deal. So I put in another battery. Still not working. So I was playing around and I noticed that my button got extremely hot. I took the battery out and noticed that it was hotter than I've ever felt.
I was playing around with it to see if something is wrong, but everything seems fine. I accidentally put in the battery backwards and it worked fine like how it used to.
Anyone have any idea what is causing this?
Hey guys,
I finally updated my charger a few days ago (I think before I had the VP2) or something like that. Quick question on something I'm noticing that seems a bit odd to me.
When I charge (for example 18650's), a battery that's fully charged in channel 1...it flashes FULL/0.00 mA, I remove the battery. A few minutes later, I'll put the battery back in the same bay, and all of a sudden there are a few hundred mA's that show up on the screen that need to be charged back into the battery and it takes a few minutes for channel 1 to recognize the battery is fully charged and flash FULL/0.00mA again (although it does show above that's fully charged at 4.2v).
If I take that same battery and do the same test but this time in channel 2, within a few seconds it recognizes that the battery is fully charged and flashes FULL/0.00mA. So it seems channel 1 is not working as well as channel 2 is, when it comes to recognizing information from the battery.
Is this normal for this charger or do I have a defective charger?
I was just wondering how long the oled screen stays on after you let go of the button. I lef go of the button after taking a hit and the screen stays on a long time before it turns off. How long does it take for the screen to turn off automatically?
Hi there,
My rincoe manto aio battery has started to flash. Have tried two new fully charged batteries and it has 5 bars in the battery on the screen and one of them flashes. Even does it when I turn the mod off. Can anyone help?
It's an Innokin Endura T18 II. I bought it just a week ago. Everything was working fine until this morning when I tried to fire it and it just blinked three times. I thought maybe there was a problem with the coil, so I put a new one in. It was still blinking. So I made extra sure the coil was in properly. Then it started working again. I vaped for about an hour and then it started blinking again and wouldn't fire. Any idea what the problem is?
I just got it today, and the batteries wouldn’t fit but I finally pushed them in. I don’t know too much about voltage but it says R on the left side, and u on the right side on the main screen. It’s at 0.27 voltage where it says R, and nothing for U. Is there something wrong with the voltage or the battery?
This happened just last night. Before bed last night, I decided to check the forums and email. My wife already was asleep. I decided to load up my dripper and vape while browsing. I put in a freshly charged battery. I was running a .2 ohm build in an older Efest 1600 V1 (rewrapped sony VTC3). I took a few puffs as I tried to load the website.... the internet was down, so I locked the mod, and went to the router to check things out.... After working with the router for about 5 minutes, I realized, I wasn't getting a signal from the internet provider.... so, I sat down to do some maintenance.... Through the light of the computer monitor, I saw some vapor coming from the drip tip..... the mod was NOT locked, and it was continuously firing for 5+ minutes. I went to pick it up, and it was too hot to pickup, so I turned it on the side so it would stop firing..... I grabbed a towel, and took it into the bathroom put it in the sink and turned on the water.... It sizzled when the water hit the mod. After a few seconds, I unscrewed the bottom button and took the battery out.
The mod cooled down battery stayed in the water for a bit. It was so hot, it started to split the shrink wrapping (it continued to shrink it until it split). The mod was fine, battery was fine... no bulging, smell, etc. I still might not use the battery just in case. turned out, I had not locked the bottom ring.
So, continued advice... do not vape a pulse rating, always vape continuous rating and use safe batteries.
So this is weird... Just got some shocks to the fillings in my teeth while vaping on my Kanger Aerotank Mini / Ego-C Twist Battery at 4.8 volts.. Before it happened, I started to get a metallic taste in my mouth, kind of like when you bite down on a foil gum wrapper. The shocks were similar, too. It happened a couple more times, so I turned my battery down to my usual 4.2 volts, which made it mostly go away; but I'm still getting that awful tart/metallic taste. Has this happened to anyone else?
