Coil Making Is Keeping Me Fit

I was starting to get a little worried that this obsession with vaping and sitting here reading and studying and searching online for the necessary supplies was making me much more sedentary than I would like. However I realised this evening that coil making is keeping me fit. I keep dropping these minute parts which, on our tiles floors, have a habit of rolling under furniture and disappearing off the face of the earth. So there I am, several times a day, on my hands and knees, face down on the floor looking for these fricking bits and bobs. LOL that's more exercise than I've done in years.

Coil Making Is Keeping Me Fit: Part 2 - Eat Spaghetti

You may remember I wrote the other day that I had lost the bottom switch on the telescopic Pisces that had arrived just a couple of hours before. I spent two days looking for it and going through the exercise routine of lying down on the floor and looking under furniture that has become so frequent now. I gave up and today I ordered another Pisces which was a clone anyway and didn't cost much at all. Worst case scenario I would have spare parts. So that was that and I stopped searching.

This evening hubby and I decided we wanted some spaghetti. I set the water on the fire and opened the freezer to get some Bolognese sauce I had frozen down. Lo and behold - there was my switch!! ~

Then it all came back to me. I had put it there deliberately because I had overtightened the lock and it got jammed. Like I do with all metals that get jammed I put it in the freezer and promptly forgot all about it!

So whenever you lose a part of your vaping equipment ALWAYS check the freezer before you do anything else.... unless of course you want to exercise.

Trouble Making Coils, Need Suggestions...(this Is Embarassing)

I was in an automobile accident a couple years ago and now suffer from brain damage (my limbic system and hippocampus). One of the many problem's is that my hands are extremely shaky all the time. I can't take pictures with my phone otherwise they're blurry, I can barely play guitar anymore, I can't write my own name without it looking like I'm 6 years old even though I'm a full-grown 18 year-old. And now that I thoroughly enjoy vaping, I'm faced with the trouble of making decent coils. I've done it a few times, but it takes me an hour to do what looks like a joke and I usually give up and have someone do it for me. But I want to try and be somewhat independent, so what are some suggestions y'all have that could help me out with making coils? Thanks all, anything is appreciated.

Rip Usps

Apparently the postal service is badly broken. Sorry for online vendors. A few years ago most of us here were dependent on online vendors, but no more. B&M's are even coming to my remote area and I'm starting to see my first vapers in the wild.

Time to support my local merchants. Talk face to face instead of getting ignored emails.

Traditional Tobacco Vendors Appear Unaffected By New Record Keeping For Vape Supplies

My understanding of UPS and FEDEX decision not to carry Nicotine supplies to 'the Public' is their 'reluctance' to be burdened with record keeping requirements of signatures of Adults receiving Nicotine products under the new law. USPS decision is easy to understand as they are a 'Pseudo Government Agency'.

Just an 'observation'. Gas Stations, Convenience stores, tobacconists, and other vendors of actual tobacco products are NOT being 'burdened' with the same record keeping requirements at point of sale...and this appears to be a gap in the legislation violating the 'Equal Protection' philosophy the US has seemed to distance itself of late when making laws to 'save us from ourselves'...

I understand Business to Business shipments remain unaffected...its only business to end-users being burdened by this BS regulation.

Am I wrong in my observation?

How Is This Even Possible

8/9 wraps of AWG 29 Kanthal on 2mm bit should give you around 1.8 ohms, right? At least that is what it has always given me. This evening I was rebuilding a Nautilus BVC like I have done so many times before. Lo and behold I put the coil on the ohm meter and it's reading 0.18. I look for sticking out bits of wire. None. I throw out the coil and start over with exactly the same build as always. Again I get 0.16 ohms. I test it on all my regulated mods... same result on all of them.

How is this even possible?!

Reviewers Are Starting To Panic

We all know it's coming... possibly the end of vaping as we know it. This guy is loud, in your face, too much to stand sometimes, but does lots of reviews and now he's telling it the way it is and "in yo face"...

For me personally, this is a tricky time (I'm super low budget) I can't afford to stock up, but at the same time, prices are dropping and sales everywhere (so I might stand a chance after all) And yes, this all sucks!

E Cig Works Fine For About 5 Minutes Then Goes Burnt

I'm having trouble with my Jem Pen E cig - hopefully someone can help me.

I take the coil out clean the tank and battery area, put it back in with liquid + prime the coil. for about 5 minutes it tastes fine and is vaping as normal. then a really horrible burnt taste comes in which is unbearable to smoke and making my throat hurt.

I take the coil out and clean again, put more liquid. the same thing happens! it tastes absolutely fine again and then gets burnt.
any idea why this is happening ? the device gets quite hot too...
i don't think the coil is the issue because why does it taste fine for a few mins?
I've ordered new coils so going to try that but worried its the device. i've only had it for 2 weeks and changed the coil about 5 days ago.

Bad Taste When Vaping On Kanger Pro Tank Mini3

I am new to vaping. I am starting out on a kanger protank mini3. I recently replaced the coil, cleaned it, reassembled and changed out the juice. My problem is that every few hits, it tastes really bad. I read that it could be a dry hit, so I tried to work on that. I did dry burns and primed it without pressing the button. I even loosened the coil slightly making sure it had good air flow. I am completely befuddled. It's not constant, just every 6-8 hits it so. Any advice would be sooo appreciated. Thanks!

Coil Building Keeping Me Fit - Part Deux... With A Question.

So, I'm trying to learn my lesson and when I take apart my Kanger or Nautilus coil heads I trying to drop all the itty bitty pieces straight into a little box so I don't lose them. But then it still happens sometimes... mostly with the bottom pin and rubber grommet which I swear my tiled floor simply devours!

My question is - are things like that sold separately (not in the US please) and if yes what exactly do I search for? A search for rubber grommets on Fasttech only yielded a bunch of rubber bands and o-rings.

Thanks.

Information And Predictions About The European Union Vaping Excise

As many european vapers might have heard, excise tax will be implemented eventually. Estimates are that this will likely happen between 2023 - 2025 however some countries are starting in 2022 individually.

There are some estimates from proffesionals as to how the European Union will tax vaping products. It is for example really likely that you will be taxed per ml of e-liquid. This tax is likely to be between $0.08 to $1.00. It is likely that vaping products will recieve less frequent tax increases due to their positive effects compared to tabacco. If you do not want to pay this tax, there is always an option to create your own liquid with a bit of spare time on your hands as the products used to create e-liquid will not be taxed, the tax will only apply if you buy pre-made e-liquid. So I'd recommend learning how to create your own e-liquid before 2022 if you're an european vaper, could safe you some money in the end.

Things to note: This has not been 100% confirmed yet, but is 90% sure to happen eventually. They are currently working on making this all lawfull. So a few years could pass before it actually gets implemented. Vaping is probably not at the top of their list with all the things going on in the world right now, and the procedure was just started, with the average procedure taking 2-3 years I wouldn't be expecting it anytime soon.

If you have any questions, please ask. I've done quite the bits of research on the topic and chances are I could answer your question!

Happy vaping!
