im looking for a new mod budget (50ish dollars) would this $47.37 ATHENA Smart-60PB VW Variable Wattage APV Box Mod - 5-60W / 1*26650 / aluminum / black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping be good, and do i need to get any batteries for that i currently have 2x of 18650 batteries
Taking the advice of ECF members, I'm planning on buying Samsung INR18650 25R batteries for a 30w device (as opposed to my current Panasonic that has a 6ish max amp output). My local vendor has them, but two things are strange to me.
1.) Their price is actually a little cheaper than Fasttechs, usually products there are quite more expensive
2.) They are green, while FT and a couple other places i've googled has them as blue
This is the vendor site:
Baterija Samsung INR18650 25R 2500mAh - 18650 - Li-on, Ni-Mh baterije - Baterije i punjači E cigarete | E tekućine
This is how they look pretty much everywhere else:
$9.75 Authentic Samsung INR18650-25R 3.6V 2500mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Batteries (2-Pack) - 35A peak discharge / 22A continuous discharge at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
So are the batteries from the first site fake or what's the deal with that?
Hi everyone,
Hope your all having a great weekend! Hopefully someone can help me figure out any good canadian or American reputable vendors for 18650 batteries for my arrow sense mod. Out of all the vendors listed in the battery thread, only one had the batteries I wanted, but it was in the US and would cost over $50 for shipping. Hoping to find shipping for $20-30 canadian instead. I am particularly interested in the batteries on the forums listed as tested by mooch in a stickier post. Or Sony battery with 2500 mah , I like to vape with two 18650 batteries at 60-80 watts.
Hi, so I have several different brands of 18650 batteries but I'm getting ready to pick up the new Geekvape Aegis X, I wanted to get some new batteries. I have been reading up on it but I'm so confused, I don't vape very high wattage It's always under 50 watt, 45 usually being the most, so what would be the best batteries for long activity? Any input would really help. Thanks
Alright, it's been a while since I've been on ECF, so I figured since I've got a reason to post - I will. My 150w box mod shorted out my batteries, and the firing button and + button broke so now they're loose and disconnected. I figured since the warranty is still valid I'd exchange it or get my money back. But note I will NOT order from fasttech or anything that'll have me waiting a month for my purchase to get here. My budget is $70/usd, so I know my options are a bit slim. But here's my average vape set up: usually under 50 watts, but I'd prefer at least 60 watts+ on my device (I'd be willing to go with a 30 watt, but it'd have to be amazing for me to consider it). Coils on my RDA were usually under 1.0ohm (.2ohms-.8ohms) I HATE built in batteries so something I could use my 18650's in would be ideal (preferably dual 18650 but I'm willing to compromise), mechanical box mods sketch me out so I'd rather not get one of those. I don't care about the brand, as long as it's reliable, fits my budget and most of my preferences. Now that you have a base, lay it on me. What do you think would be a good new mod for me? I'm willing to compromise, but not by much. Thanks guys, I appreciate any suggestions.
$1.59 Protective Silicone Sleeve for Eleaf iStick 50W VV/VW Mod - black at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
they have these for all i stick models and different colors as well . I got mine a few days ago and it feels much better in my hand now and more durable
Why is the iStick Rim sold at Fasttech different from all of the reviews I've seen? It uses a removable 18650 battery and the USB port is in a different position. Here is the link $51.18 Authentic Eleaf iStick Rim C 80W VW APV Box Mod + MELO 5 Tank Kit - 4ml (28*21.4mm (OD*ID)) / 0.6/0.15ohm / 1-80W / 1*18650 / 28mm diameter at FastTech - Free Shipping
the little cig bats just dont last long and at the time i started was really weak but that what made me look
for an up grade and thats how i found this place and learned every thing from reading videos and what not
and im using the orchid v3 great tank and the nemesis clones and dont touch my other stuff. every ones
different and sense you have batteries now that have VV/ vw and that cost about the same as a blue start up kit
Electronic Cigarette Kits | E Cigarette Kit | Rechargeable Kits well really its alot cheaper. and a tank that has
adjustable air flow now days for 6 bucks. why would you suggest a njoy or blue ecig. thats why 90 % of us are
here because we waisted money on them and needed something stronger. with the adjustabilty of some of
these cheap but great batteries/mods and airflow tanks i cant in good faith point some one to a item that
just didnt do the trick
that is a waist of cash. pointing some one to a mod that has adjustments makes alot more sense and
increases there chances of quiting and staying quit and spend less money. some of us where not that lucky
but we started when vaping was a baby its growing fast and like computers theres a upgrade every day. so i
do not see the point it pushing some one to a blu or some random stuff like that when there are alot off really
good options out there with adjustments so the user can suite there needs. save you money in the long run.
wish you guys would think about that a little bit
it took us years to learn what we know now why make a new guy go through what we had no choice to go through
why not suggest something with adjustable airflow like the

something in that sense that can run a dual coil tank like the kangertech at 1.2-2.4 ohms easy
vs something like a spinner that was really made for single coils at the time
and pointing them to new items that havent had the test of time like some of these mods do. seems like people are using them like ginne pigs to see how it works. thats not right
should be pointing them to items that have proven there selfs so they dont have to go through what we had to when we started.
So I just bought a kit, it doesn't come with batteries -- which I wasn't told (was led to believe it was charged through the USB port according to vape store employee). So I ordered x4 Nitecore-NL1834 18650 3400mAh 3.7 Protected Lithium Ion (Li-ion) batteries and now the door won't close. I read an old article saying that Protected 18650 can be bigger. If there's a possibility of buying batteries that cost $18 a pop shouldn't they let you know there's a chance that it won't be the right size?
Is there a trick to getting the battery lid to close or do I need to now buy unprotected 18650 batteries and hopefully get my money back on the protected batteries I bought?
Hi folks,
I recently purchases a Sigelei 100w box, and got the purple Efest batteries that the vendor recommended.
I'm using this with a KangerTech Subtank Mini.
It's currently set to 42W - 5.0V, and the resistance it shows me is 0.6 ohms.
I have some questions about my setup.
- I read some reports that these batteries have different specs than what is reported, and it could potentially be dangerous. What should I do to be safe? Is there a max W/V that I can set it to?
- I have a TrustFire TR-001 charger (output: 4.2V / 500Ma). Can I charge those batteries with that? I read the charger supports 18650 batteries, but I'd rather be sure...
- If the charger is no good, any recommendations of what I should be using?
Thanks a lot!
Hi guys,
I would like to try more models of batteries, 18350 - 18500 - 18650.
Beyond AW, that I use usually, what other batteries can I try?
I use only mechanical mods, resistances from 0.8 to 1.5 ohm.
Thanks for the help!
