I haven't seen one in person in about a year and a half. I was just wondering if anyone still vapes on carto tanks or if it has all gone to clearos for that type of vape.
i quit smoking for about 3 months back in the carto tank days.
then they stopped making cartomizers. then all my juice vendors went out.
I've been struggling to find a replacement since. I've easily spent too much money on vaping. I"m getting tired of trying.
are these new pods similar to carto tanks?
I'm so lost.
I have lost interest in the clouds. I just want to stop my 30 year long smoking addiction. I miss my carto tanks. they worked for me. I'm frustrated. I'm tired. I'm lost.
I’m thinking a few years back. I remember that this military guy I think he was would sell these like acrylic?resin? carto tanks that had beautiful designs. There were auctions for them and people went nuts. What were they called? It’s driving me nuts lol.
I know I'm probably 5 years behind here but i've just recently started to use cartos with tanks and I'm really digging the vape I get out of them. I'm normslly a tank user(Kangers mostly). I got some Boge cartos and a couple of their F-16 tanks. There's something really satisfying about the way they hit. Anyone else still using this ancient technology?
Well, I heard of people coughing next to a vaper like it's actually second hand smoke but I was sort of stealth vaping in a room, and some guy started looking around and stated that he was smelling bacon, lol.
I was using a sizzling Boge carto and vaping unflavored....
Hint- carto sounded like a frying pan and he imagined bacon frying.
I currently use Halo's Triton batteries and I like the batteries but I do not like the tanks. I have been having issues with them wicking and it's annoying. I use the batteries now with the regular cartomizers because the cartos always work and I don't have to fiddle with them. The problem is they are a regular carto and don't hold much juice so I'm always topping them off. I've always like the streamlined look of the triton and ego style batteries and the battery life is ok on them but I'm tired of having to fiddle with crap. I just want to pour in some juice and be able to vape for a while without worrying about anything.
I have noticed the Isticks and they actually look kinda cool but I'm still concerned about jumping into the box mod world. My other concern is what tank would you use on them that would be better than the Triton tanks, do they make some that are hassle free and you can just vape and maybe screw on a new coil every week or two. Another thing is it seems all the new tanks out there have metal mouthpieces and I HATE those, they feel horrible on my lips. I like the regular plastic kind that don't get cold or hot but are just normal feeling (if that makes sense).
If someone could please give some advise on a tank, there are so many new things out there and I'm lost. I have been vaping off and on for several years but have never found anything to keep me off cigs for more than 6 months at a time because of all the fidgiting thats involved. Also any thoughts about going from an ego style battery to a Istick.
Thanks for any and all help. This stuff is so confusing to me.
I've been using an RDA for 18 months, and haven't had a nice tank you can sub ohm on. I mix my own juice and usually use 80/20 or 85/15... I am thinking about getting the monster v2 by 528 custom vapes, and I'm wondering what VG/PG mixture people use. I thought with tanks it needs to be closer to 70/30?
Hey all, very few will remember me but I was one of the earlier on adopter mainstays here years ago, especially in the REO and mech mod arenas. Spent thousands on mods back then, but I don't regret it as it helped me kick a 23 year butt habit. I still have several higher end devices from about 5-8 years ago that I will never use again but enjoy looking at. I wonder if there is any market at all for 'classic' higher end devices amongst today's members?
I am talking about REO Woodvilles and REO Grands, Bogger Boxes, SUPER T ELA, Atom mechs, Provari Minis, carto tanks and carts and a couple others that I don't even remember the name of but were THE THING back in the day LoL.
I may let go of them if there is a market at all for them amongst today members. Just curious if there is a renaissance yet for these things.
Am I the only one who has half a dozen tanks on my desk and could start e-juice surfing anytime in the evening?
Let me be a little more precise: Each tank has a different juice in it. Some are RBA's, some are Nautilus tanks, some are standard Aspire or Kanger tanks. Sometimes I just switch between tanks (therefore juice) every few minutes, just like channel surfing, but with e-juice.
As an example: After eating, I might go for a tobacco juice with high nic content, then switch to a tea flavor with little nic, then to a menthol with a nic content that's in between. I might end it with one of my ADV juice that's lower in nic content so my setup is also ready for the morning...
Anyone else does this?
As I posted yesterday I received some Vuse coupons in the mail and bought one. Tried it and was unimpressed with the flavor so I wondered if you could add a better tasting juice to the cartridge. Yes you can... Take a razor blade and cut around the top of the carto to remove the black wrapper, be careful not to cut yourself. Take a small screwdriver and pop off the black plastic top. It wasn't easy and pretty much destroyed it. Now just drip some new juice around the inside of the carto. I had a bunch of other cartos with the white rubbery tops do I just used one of those for a new top. It fits nice and snug. Wala, you're done. It made the flavor a lot better. Tolerable enough to use for the last few hours. So now I could see using the Vuse on a regular basis. It just needed a juice hack.
Can someone advise me as to which atty or carto I need for a reo grand? I am not into rebuilding. would link a coil type system that I can just replace the coil. is this possible?????????
