Council Of Vapers "aris"

so i have a COV ARIS atty that i bought about a year ago. i took it apart to try to increase the airflow, but got sidetracked on that project and put it on the back burner. Fast forward 6 months and i go to start the project again but i had lost the insulator to seperate the center post from the atty body. i tried contacting COV with no luck. Anyone have any ideas on where i could get an insulator for this? or if i could possibly make one?
thanks in advance

Do The Authentic Subtank Coils Have The "red Ring"?

Hey guys, I bought the Subtank Nano and loved it with the packaged coils.

I bought back-up coils that had a white insulator instead of the red, and the first one I popped in gave me such a severe sore on my tongue that I can barely talk. Both of them I've bought have really made it so bad and the flavor isn't good either.

I think they're clones that really have some bad coil material or something, but I can't tell... do the authentic ones have the red insulator?

Thank you!

Major Airflow

Well i made a slight adjustment to my aris rda clone. The airflow is now way to much. Thankfully it was only 10$ so no biggie haha she was good while she lasted.

Contacting Joyetech For Customer Service?

Has anyone had any luck contacting Joyetech's customer service?

I have this atty from the eGo1 kit that leaks like crazy and I'd really like to see about getting it fixed and/or replaced.
I've emailed them twice now with NO response!

Question About Project Sub Ohm.

Does Project Sub Ohm do anything but put their logo on things? I'll see products say "Project Sub Ohm Edition" and wonder if they are modifying it in anyway or just making it look cooler.

Subtank Mini Rba Problems?

I was using the Subtank perfectly fine and happy with it for months and when I got some new twisted kanthal I wanted to try today. I went to change out the coil and ended up some how removing the post off of the peak insulator but it just snapped right back on but then like 5 min later it just slowly came back off, is there any way to secure it back down or is it trashed?

What The Hell Is It With Vapordna's Project Subohm Rdas?

I have bought four RDAs from VaporDNA, all Project Subohm. First was the CLT V3 Infinite.

It read at a 0.09ohms on my reader unbuilt. So I emailed them, and they sent a replacement. In the mean time, I managed to fix the first one. The second one also read at a 0.09ohms on my reader, but I managed to fix that one, too. (BTW, by "fixed", I mean "got to read at a 1 on my ohm reader unbuilt). Bolstered by my experience being easily able to fix the CLT, I ordered a Swirlfish. Same issue, but this time, I couldn't fix it.

Got a replacement, same issue, only, again, couldn't fix it.

Figured "third times the charm", though, and got a Mutation V3. It read at a 1 on my ohm reader. Made me so frickin' happy, I got a third Swirlfish... which failed again and I couldn't fix it.

However, the new Mutation V4 came out, and since the V3 came perfect I went ahead and bought it...

Well, it's reading at a 0.08ohms unbuilt, and I can't fix it. I don't even want to email them for a replacement, because I'm fully expecting it to be the same, and I'm really sick of this same thing over and over again. VaporDNA's customer service is wonderful and the response time is almost lightning fast, but a) this is product after product, b) you can't tell me they aren't getting sick of hearing from me, and c) if I'm the only one they keep hearing about this from, there's no way it isn't starting to look suspicious.

But there is simply no way I'm the only one experiencing this. It's not my ohm reader, which has fresh batteries and reads all un-shorted, built RDAs accurately. And yet I still got a Smok Omnitester which is on its way, just in case.

So what in the hell is going on, here? I may get a regular, non-Project Subohm Mutation V4 from somewhere else and just get my money back on this one or something, but I'm really at the end of my patience with this. It's ridiculous.

If you get Project Subohm RDAs, please check them on your ohm readers. Somebody... please somebody... say I'm not alone in experiencing this.

Please.

Where Can I Find The Actual "mod" Part For A Vamo W/out Battery?

I have been having an issue where when I screw in any kind of tank, my vamo 4 reads "SHORT" and "LOW LOAD." I have made really nice coils to no avail. Someone at a store told me to just turn up the voltage - worked for a bit but then didn't.

Someone on here, when I posted about it, said to get something to wiggle the pin out a mm or two because it has been "crushed" with the insulator. Did that. Worked for a bit, back to SHORT and LOW LOAD.

SO, I need to buy a new one. I have a few different pv's, but this is a favorite because of its variable voltage. Is there a place (online) where I can buy just the piece I need? Attached is a pic of the faulty hardware...

My First International Vape Mail.

I just received my first order from the US. They only ship via USPS so I had no choice of carrier. I ordered the Big Dripper V2 from Grand Vapor Station. It cost $65 and shipping was $35. USPS ships here and passed over to Phlippine Post which passes thru the greedy customs guys here. They opened the package and they insisted that it was some kind of turbo add on for a race car and taxed me 6000 pesos, that is about $136. More than what I paid for my atty and shipping combined. That is 15% of what they think the value of the item is. I really tried to argue and explain to them what it was but they wouldn't even believe what wsa printed in the Invoice. They lay their argument on the banner that says "Don't Drip and Drive" on the box and from there concluded that it was some kind of exotic and expensive car part. After customs I was charged VAT, Value Added Tax, of 4000 pesos, that's about $90. My atty ended up costing me around $300. The funny thing is based on their computation the atty is worth more than $1000.

Help Please: Got New E Cig & Had To Replace The Liquid 3 Times In 6 Hours.

I just bought a new E Cig, the Adept Zlide kit - Adept Zlide Kit

My issue though is that within 6 hours I have replaced the liquid 3 times. It just goes down ridiculously quick, and I'm not really chainsmoking it.

Basically, how do I make the liquid last longer before replacing it, avoiding the obvious answer of "Don't vape it as much" haha. I'm not really familiar how airflow holes and wattage works, so perhaps I'm doing something wrong with that part of the E Cig. I've got my airflow fully open at the moment though, could that be why the liquid is going down so fast? Does more airflow cause more liquid to be used?

I'm using a 1.6ohm coil and my wattage is set to 14, which is the second lowest. Does less wattage use less liquid? Not sure if it's one of these or a combination of the two that is making the liquid go down so fast.

Thanks guys.

Dedicated Atomizers To Select Flavors

Do you, or do you not, change atomizers between flavors. I myself do change atty's ESPECIALLY when switching between designer juices that I've paid close to $30 for a 30ml bottle. I am wondering if others do the same. If so, how do you store your used atty's and ensure they don't get mixed-up? Look forward to hearing from all of you!
