So I was wondering which clone you guys have had the least amount of problems with and just built the best? Thanks guys!
Hey guys, new to the forum, new to vaping, second thread. I have a few questions pertaining to mod clone companies, a-mod (wotofo?), infinite, tobeco. Im wanting to get a magma clone, I have a local vape shop and they sell them on sale as of this moment for $15, its made by tobeco though, are they a reputable company, do they make good things? From what I can see everyone seems to say really good things about infinite, but are these others good? They also have a Sir Lancelot copper mech mod for $30 made my a-mod, not tobeco. I wanted to go and pick these items up today, but with a little insight, any help would be appreciated, thanks!
EDIT: Yes I realize Im talking about two specific products here, that being the RDA and a mech mod, but Im really just curious about the quality and whether or not these other clone companies are reputable, so I made the decision to post this thread in 'Gerneral Vaping Discussion'.

I recently bought a Squape R clone from Fasttech, its ok but not what i was expecting, so i'm looking now to kinda move up in the RTA world, I can't afford an original svoemesto, erlkonigen or taifun, but is it worth getting a clone of one of these? my clone experience so far hasn't really been amazing, obviously its hard to differentiate between it being the fact its a clone or that, heaven forfend, i just don't like the squape style.
So heres the rub, do i try another clone of one of these other styles as a cheap way of seeing if i prefer another RTA style, or do i just stick the money into an original like the Lemo 2 ?
I'm not certain of what i really want to be honest whether its dual coil i need for the flavour and clouds i'm not getting from my squape r or if its down to the build deck/airflow/chimney/whatever but the hit from the squape only satisfies if i pre-heat it for a second and only take a quick puff then. otherwise its low flavour dry throat hit.
Wondering if its possible/safe to use temperature control on a RDA clone? Because clones don't use peek insulator or does that not matter?
Hi guys!
I hope everyone is having a great Mothers' Day!
As I plan my outings for the warmer weather, I'm thinking about how I'll get my vape on while off-the-grid. I've been vaping almost a year. Last season, I hit the trails with a few EGO twists, a VV v3, a couple of EVODS and a Protank2 w/AFC; all powered by a 6000mAh solar power bank. I've been rebuilding the Kanger heads almost since day one. Since moving to RTAs & RDAs, the idea of living with EVODS & a PT2 is not exciting.
Here are my choices for kit thus far:
6000 mAh Solar Power Bank
20W iStick
30W iStick
2 30W Hana Clones
iTaste VTR
VAMO v3
VAMO v5 7.4v box mod
1:1 Erlk Clone (my favorite)
1:1 KFL+v2 Clone
Various EVODS and a PT2 w/AFC
IGO L
Veritas clone
Plume Veil clone
With the goal of keeping things simple, compact and light; I'm thinking the solar power bank and 2 iSticks will be the foundation for my kit. I don't want to deal with builds gone bad while on the trail, so my RTAs & RDAs will remain home. That leaves me looking for a couple of new atomizers.
I'm told Eleaf's GS Air series are quite good for standard clearos and their heads don't seem any more difficult to rebuild than Kanger's. The GS Air M and/or MS seem to be ideal for this use. They're also <$10 each, so I wouldn't be thoroughly pissed if disaster would strike.
What do you guys think? What are YOU using for off-the-grid trailblazing?
I'm just glad I wasn't vaping 20 years ago when I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail. What a nightmare that would have been...
Thanks!
Got home from work and was stoked to see a package from seven vapes containing my smpl clone and derringer rda clone. What a clean compact combo. Did a five wrap 24 gauge which read .31 on meter. Loving the results. I've been slipping up and smoking cigs the past few days. All 7 roommates (live in a recovery house) smoke so the temptation is real. I think this one will finally get me off the sticks. One can only hope
To me to be a clone you must COPY the original not just run extra units at the manufacturing plant and selling them out the back door, in a manner of speaking
So I can't figure out were to order an authentic plume veil, or what a good website to order one from, but Iv been hearing things were the machining on them has been very poor and that's not good, but if you guys have an opinion on the best clone they have that would be great too, but I do like authentics thanks guys!
Im looking for a good box mod that has batteries built in, like a usb passthrough/charger, I cant seem to find anything on it. Something that could go up to 50w would be preferred, not really looking for anything over 100w, I dont really think i would need to go that high. I currently use a nemi clone for most of my vaping needs, but id like the option to be able to vape while i charge
Hey guys just recently got a Lemo2, wasn't happy with the coil that it came built with for some reason so built my first one to put in. I think it came out pretty good, I believe it came with 24g Kanthal and I did 11 wraps around 3.5mm came out to 0.9ohm. It takes a while to ramp up but seems to give a nicer vape to me than the stock one which was like 5 wraps around 2mm at 0.5 ohm.
Anyways, I tossed the original coil and now am wondering if I really had to or could have saved it. When you guys try new coil builds do you save your older builds? And being that it's really just resistance wire does a coil ever really need to be replaced or is it just for novelty/trying new builds?
So I've been vaping now for almost 5 months. I own 4 different regulated mods, many sub ohm tanks and a few rda's. I'm wanting to pick up a mech mod, but not sure which would be better. I'm pretty much looking at either the nemesis clone or the stingray x clone. Any thoughts on which is better, or any other mechs that I may want to look into?
