Like most of us out here, we're anxiously awaiting the 15,000,000th post. However, I've been keeping an eye on the number of members on ECF.

I'm wondering if we'll hit 223,000 members before we hit 15,000,000 posts....

We're under 13,000 posts to go and only 129 members to go....

A little over 18 months ago, we held a prize for the 10 millionth post on ECF…

Well, I’m very happy to say that we’ll soon be approaching the 15th million post and, exactly as we did last time, we’ll have prizes for this landmark.

Our registered suppliers have been extremely generous, and we've a whole host of prizes up for grabs. So, the way this will run is...

We will have one main winner and a number of runner ups. The main winner will be the post we deem to be the 15millionth, and the runner ups will be every (as yet undetermined) number of posts afterwards. The winner will get the first pick of the prizes on offer, and subsequent runner ups will get to choose in the order they come through. How does that sound?

I can’t tell you how much it means to me that this site I started on a whim 7 and a half years ago has become such an amazing living beast; a community that has been responsible for the increasingly global phenomenon that is vaping.

It’s worth thinking for a minute about these 15 million posts. Among them are some of the most important conversations in public health history. I don’t think this is an exaggeration; Conversations that have led to new products, conversations that led to lives changed, conversations that in aggregate have played a massive part in vaping entering the mainstream.

The future’s ahead, and the conversation continues, but I wanted to take this moment to say thank you!

For some reason I can not post a new thread in the new members forum. It always says insufficient privileges. I can post a new threat anywhere else and respond to threads there. Does anyone know how to fix it?  

I have a complaint about an online vape company, but they are not on the list here. Is it OK to post about this on this forum? I won't mention name just yet, but I want to know if any other members got screwed over like I did.  

I'm pretty disappointed with how this hysteria turns out. 3 months ago we just had a very good pro-vaping website from the government. And now the very same Ministry of Health is planning to propose legislation to ban all flavoured e-liquids except tobacco, mint and menthol

Currently, the vaping community and all vape stores in NZ are asking kiwi vapers to sign a petition to propose this plan. One example is this store
Oppose the flavour ban now! Keep your right to vape!

Unless there are some big guys in the government help us, I'm not sure if this petition really affects the outcome

In 2006, the World Health Organization (WHO) developed the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) in order to promote policies to member countries with the aim of reducing tobacco use. Representatives of member countries meet every two years to discuss improvements and implementation of the FCTC. This meeting is known as the Conference of Parties (COP), and the ninth such meeting, COP 9, will occur between November 9-13, 2021.

The WHO is recommending extreme measures like high taxation, flavor bans, and outright prohibition as their preferred actions to curb the adoption of these safer nicotine products. To put a finer point on it, the WHO’s influence is being disproportionately leveled at low- and middle-income countries (LIMCs) which are home to more than 80% of the world’s population of people who smoke.

So I purchased a piece of garbage 25mm Kennedy one from Fastech. I spent practically nothing on it so I'm not too upset.

My question is: the negitive post is already spinning. I can just use a pair of pliers to hold the pin in place while I screw down the post. But is a spinning negitive post safe to use?

I have recently been overwhelmed by some of the supporting advertisers to this site...

Frankly, I do not want to see the ads, nor have them read over my shoulders by others.

I was ready to sign off entirely, and just leave. (I don't really do/view much anymore as a more seasoned vaper)

But... I was informed/made aware of the Supporting Member thingy. What a novel idea! (once a Supporting Member, you no longer see the ads)

I would like to PIF a Supporting Membership to someone whom may not be able to afford it. It may be that some other members may be of the same mind/heart.

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Who shall my PIF'e be?
