Who Voops? Resurrection Thread

Somebody started this thread 2 years ago. I figure it is time for a resurrection thread. The year is now 2015 and Vaping has come along way and I'm sure there are more people Vooping now then in 2013. So how many people Voop now? I myslef like to Voop at home and sometimes I even Voop in my customers restrooms as well A good Voop is so relaxing I can't describe it but it is like that feeling you get after you go to the barber and you get a hair cut and a shave. Something about it just makes you feel good. I have a Heatvape Invader Mini just for special occasions since it is water resistant. Nothing like a nickel build and your favorite juice while you are having a Voop

Charging An Ipv Mini

Can I use an external battery pack to charge an IPV Mini?

I have a 10,000mAh external battery to charge my cell phone (Note 4, with a 3500mAh battery), which has 2 options for charging: 1.5v=1A and 2.5v=2.1A.

Is it recommended? Is it safe? Are there any precautions I need to take if I use the battery pack?

I haven't gotten around to getting an extra 18650 battery (and charger) for the IPV Mini. I've finally realized that it takes maybe 2-3 hours to charge the battery via the USB cable. But the one battery doesn't quite last me all day, depending on how heavy I'm using the Mini.

I usually carry a Volcano Inferno once the Mini dies, but the Volcano really sucks in comparison to the Mini. I'd love to be able to charge the Mini while I'm out and about.

I've added a pic of the external battery for specific information.

Thanks for all your help.

So I Finally Saw It Happen...

A few days ago I noticed a new co-worker of mine was a vaper. He had some kind of old, ratty looking mech with some kind of tank I'm unfamiliar with on top. This guy doesn't strike me as the type of person who would be responsible with a mechanical, but trying not to be judgmental, I kept quiet. So yesterday a friend of mine says "look at that guy, what's he doing?" I look over and see this guy dancing around, frantically pulling everything out of his pocket. Out comes an 18650 battery, with a key WELDED to the end of it, still throwing arcs! By this time, his pants were actually SMOKING!!! We go over there to investigate, and he had put a fully charged battery without any kind of case or covering in his pocket with a bunch of change and his keys. The old ratty battery no longer even had the plastic shrink wrap sleeve on it, just a silver cylinder. When it was cool enough to touch, we examined it, and the positive terminal had completely burned away, and it had burned a hole in his pocket about the size of a half-dollar. After lecturing him about using a battery case, we asked to see the battery in his mod. He pulled it out and it was in worse shape than the one that shorted out in his pocked. No insulated wrap, big gouges in the side, burnt spots on the positive end. All we could do was warn him to get new batteries and go about our business. I have a feeling our warnings fell on deaf ears. I even showed him my little $0.99 battery case. I can understand someone not being completely knowledgeable about all the technical stuff, but isn't this just common sense? Sigh.

Vape Shop Sued For Over A Million Dollars Because Of Exploding Battery

This was on the news this morning. The rechargable lithium-ion battery was loose in his pocket. My guess is that he had keys, change, etc in the pocket as well.
It's a shame that the media will blow this out if proportion and cast a bad light on vaping in general. All because of one individual's stupidity.

Ipv Mini V2 Help!!

Hello everyone I recently purchased an ipv mini v2 and I love it, it is working perfect. I only have one complaint the fire button rattles like crazy and it drives me nuts. To some it's not a big deal but I just don't like it. So do any of you out there know if there is a way for me to fix this? Once again everything else is perfect ohms and all that it's just the fire button. The wattage up and down buttons are supper tight and clicky. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Subtank Mini Stuck

Why So Little Love For Side By Sides?

Over the last 24 month or so, mods became bigger and bigger due to increasing sizes of batteries and comically large tank attys. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the fact that I only need to change the battery and fill the tank once per day, that's awesome, however, some of those devices got to a point where they became not very portable anymore... Gone is the time in which the mod can be put in the pockets of your pants.
So, as far as I'm concerned, I got realy tired of those huge mods and went back to one of my first mods, no VV no VW no temperature control.... Its the REO mini..... Super small and tough as nails.
After a while I kept looking for something comparable but a non squonker mod. I found the Ministick with the 18650 extension.
I have it now for a few weeks and I'm sooooo happy with it.
It's just a tad larger than the REO mini but it carries the 18650 battery and the Kayfun V4. This mod would be quite a bit smaller than the REO mini if I take the battery extension off, which is very impressive.
I will very likely never buy another regular tube or box mod just due to its size.
I see only pros for side by sides, they are the perfect combination between small size and good battery/tank capacity, so I'm naturally wondering why they are so little loved?
What is your point of view?

Hellvape Md Rta Flooding Problems

I have hellvape me RTA and I had some flooding problems and I checked the top fill seal I love the topfill and check it with my mouth and I see that it's not sealing perfectly.... The rubber seal seems to not make perfect contact and I wonder could this cause flooding problems when I leave my vape without using it??? It draw air into the juice chamber??? Also someone here on a thread mention he had 2 hellvapes and when he swap the topfill parts with each other his vape don't leak....should we have perfect seal at the top fill mechanism???

International Flight > Spare Batteries In Carry-on And Juice + Everything Else In Checked Bags?

International Travelers

I am now in the US and I am going back to the Philippines for about a year.

I have a couple of VW box mods and a mech. tube mod along with 3 or 4 various atomizers. I also have a bunch of 18650 and 18500 batteries along with a couple of those skinny EGO style Twist batteries.

Since I make my own juice, I have some large bottles of VG and some 60mg Nic unflavored PG base, along with some bottles of flavorings.

I am thinking that everything I have goes into the checked bags except for the batteries which go in carry-on luggage ... does this sound right to you?

One thing else ... If I have a small EGO Twist battery with a small Kanger Aerotank Mini on top of it (for vaping at the airport once I get into Hong Kong), do you think I would have any problem with airport security if I put that in the TSA tray along with my other carry-on junk that's in my pocket before going though the metal detector? ... The Aerotank Mini in my pocket would have a little juice in it.

Thanks,
