Hi everyone!
Ok, you've seen the term on a few threads now, and you've scratched your head thinking...... "What in the world is a Tootle Puffer?!?!"
You're not alone. Many are wondering. Yet, there are a several people who know exactly what it means, and have smiled their way into the Tootle Puffers Club.
Let's have some fun. Let's find out who actually IS a Tootle Puffer, and let's define it!*
Are YOU a Tootle Puffer? What does that mean!!!
*And before you ask, no, I'm NOT making another spreadsheet!
So I'm a toodle puffer. My normal set-up is a Joyetech Evic Easy and a Kayfun lite with unflavored liquid. The Evic Easy has a regulated 3.3 volt mode and an unregulated mode. I run the Kayfun (original V1) at 1.5 ohms, so I'm vaping at a whopping 7 watts.
Just on a whim, since I was ordering some supplies and stuff, I decided to try one of those new-fangled subtank minis...hey, it was on sale. This is my result after 2 days.
First, the .5 ohm was out of the question, so I primed and put in the 1.2 ohm OCC coil. Well, this was just not a good fit for me. The problem is, I think, the wire guage. I bet the coil is made from 24-26 guage wire. My 3.3 volts took forever to heat that wire. I had to hold the button down for 3-5 seconds to get any sizzle at all, and just couldn't get much vapor.
So, the next step is to try the rba base. This is very kayfun-like, and I built it the same way. Inspecting it, I found a burr on one of the juice channels, but filed that off with a needle file. I built a 1.8 ohm 30ga 2mm coil that turned out to be 2.0 ohm...oh, well close enough. Wicked it with my typical cotton ball and laid the tails across the deck.
I looked at the mouthpiece. Are you kidding me, looks like a tailpipe. Swapped to a favorite drip tip, turned the airflow to the lowest setting, and started vaping.
I've gone thru 2 tanks, and it's working great. Maybe better than my kayfuns. I'm going to try rebuilding the OCC coils for backups, and will likely get a couple more rba bases. The beauty may be how easy it will be to swap out the coil.
So this phrase is going around and I have literally no idea what people are talking about.
Can somebody please explain to me what the heck a tootie puffer is?
Not sure I like the name tootle puffer, but,I seem to fit the description.I will play with sub ohm at home.Does this make me a half breed or a closet subohmer? You may think I'm but I'm ok with that too.
I just got my new gear(spent 100$) to find out that I am a true tootie puffer. 10 watts at 2.5 seems to be my limit on my Sigelei mini. Now I know.
Is there any were I can go to treat this?
At least my juice will last for a while.
I'm going to try 1.8 ohms later in the week, maybe there is still hope.

how important is it to have temp control? I'm looking for my next mod and was wondering if it's a must have. I'm a tootle puffer btw. Also to you HAVE to use a tank w nickel or titanium coils?
Tx
I think it means taking small puff but chaining it.Like Puff time is less then 2 second but you vaped it quickly. That action sir/madam,it’s tootle puff
Ok, we don't NEED a moniker, but I want one.
I'm not a tootle puffer, I'm not a cloud chaser.
I vape anywhere from 15-25 watts, usually in the low 20's. I vape 6-18mg liquid, usually around 12mg. I only vape about 2-4ml a day.
I like flavor, but a decent sized cloud isn't bad either. My mod isn't always in my hand, but it is always nearby.
Anyone else out there like me? What do you call your "vape style?"
I am going to run up and hug them and tell them how happy I am they are vaping instead of smoking. I hope the cops don't get called. I know I can be harsh at times but I love all yous guys no matter what ya vape on!
I'm having a particularly great week and it's almost my birthday so I am going to ditch all this inter-vaper hate and promote kindness and understanding amongst us all. Will you join me in doing the same?
Unless you try to pwn me in one of the multiplayer games I'm playing then all bets are off!!!!! Have a great evening folks vape on, live long.
