Has anyone else had their iclears breaking? Mine break less than a week after buying them. The first thing to go is the tip which swells and gets soft at the bottom where is seals with the white rubber cap. After that the plastic tube breaks where it is attached to the metal. I just placed some epoxy around the joint where it breaks apart. I have just tried a solution but would like to hear others experiences with these. Has anyone else had them break so soon?
I keep most of my crazy experimental findings to myself as a lot of vapers I'm sure hate too much 'do it yourselfing' advice ... but this one created such amazing results , I thought some wacky home professors would also like to try it .... the picture is showing two things : The dollar stores and Walgreens (I'm sure many stores have these cheap ball point pens too ) have a pen with a rubber black finger grip tube that slides right off. The other piece is just an automotive socket .
When the socket is slipped onto the rubber tube, the eight sided depressions for nut gripping do not seal the air off and let air through .... in other words if you block the rubber tube with your finger you will still be getting easy draw from air rushing into the socket depressions even though it looks like the socket is sealed tightly onto the tube ... slide this whole thing right onto your current metal tip of any clearomizer tank and you can even leave a space to create the old filter depression that analogs like Parlement cigs used to have.
Cloud increase, even more 'roundness' to the flavor, and weirdly, the metal in the socket is cooler due to all of its mass and seems to react with the warmer cloud coming through ... call me crazy but it's fun to try and the difference should be as noticable to others as it is to me .
A buddy of mine is in his last week of methadone treatment and is a complete wreck. He has been using disposable cig-a-likes to help clam his nerves but I know that those things are not very satisfying. I let him try my Billow a top an IPV mini 2 and it blew him away. He asked me how much for a set up like that was because he thought it would help him out immensely. He is newly married with an eight week old baby so money is a little tight. I decided to let him borrow it to help a brother out, but man I miss that thing. It's like a child to me. Oh and just to make it clear, I let him use my Fogger v6 cause I don't care if he breaks that lol
Why are there endless threads about them breaking. Centerpost spinning, shoddy millwork, peeling metals, bad screws, bad threads, janky 510's, bad rubber, broken insulators. The list is endless. I think the one thing everyone agrees on is that they are CHEAP.
My Vape Connexx 150w mod finally died on me after countless chip errors and the buttons caving in on themselves. This is the third mod I've had break on me, so that's why I'm asking you all for suggestions. My max price is $90/USD (that's the refund I'll be getting for my mod). Now I usually vaped around 40-60 watts, builds about .2ohms-.9ohms and what have you. I like the looks of something hefty and bulky, sleek and modern/futuristic or wood mod. I'd prefer something that will fire down to .1ohms, interchangeable batteries (HATE fixed batteries), 50-260 watts and RELIABLE. I'm tired of them breaking on me, so I'd prefer y'all give further suggestion due to my bad luck with mods, but with the information given, what could y'all suggest? I'd appreciate anything.
Side note: I'd rather not order from Fasttech or something like that, making me wait a month until my mod gets here.

I just bought a litre of 100mg/ml unflavoured PG E juice.
I calculated that if it doesn't go off it should last me 10 years. It came in a sealed plastic bottle.
I bought a dark amber glass bottle (which I have sterilized) to put it in but I was wondering if it would be better to leave it in the original sealed plastic bottle rather than breaking the seal to put it in the glass bottle? I took the lid off and it has a proper seal over the rim of the bottle like a Gatorade.
Also the glass bottle I bought came with a plastic lid but I doubt it will be 100% airtight.

I have a Tank Crossing box mod and when i purchased it the guy in the vape shop said i had to put grease between the connector and the firing button or it could get to hot and fry the switch. He wasnt very specific on what kind of grease, he just said its in a tube at o reillys. All they had in a tube was break grease and my gut tells me thats not a very good idea. Any suggestions or reccomendations for what to actually purchase?
I know the Mini comes with a SS tip, that I switch out for a plastic tip from a clearo. As I drive down the road, even the plastic tip will smack my teeth. I know the obvious answer is to not vape and drive, but I smoked and drove....if ya know what I mean. Does anyone know of a soft drip tip that can be used on the Mini? I can't stick around to monitor this thread, but I'll check back tomorrow. Thanks in advance

Back in the day,not sure maybe 15 years ago or maybe more i had this semi-platonic relationship with a stewardess from Lufthansa...or Iberia,not sure it was so long ago.
Well anyway,she hated that i smoked so on one of her trips to china she brought me a weird vaping contraption.
Was shaped (almost same size,tad bigger perhaps) like a pack of cigarettes with stickers on it to make it look like a pack of cigarettes.,underneath you would flick a switch and a plug would pop out,you would then just attach the plastic pack of cigarettes to the wall so you could charge it.
Once charged you would unplug and open the top,there was half of a plastic cigarette shaped tube in there,you unscrewed it from the device then screwed in the tip,the tip was just a hollow plastic tube with cotton in it,you just added some drops of liquid in it.
Tried to find some pics of it using google but no luck,but anyway you get the idea.
And now look at where we at,huge advances in vaping tech in these years,so it made wonder how much would it improve and what would it look like in 20 years,15 perhaps.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

I've been through a great deal of SMOK's and Wismec's. Each seems to last me a year or less before the thing breaks. The buttons seem to just stop working on the Wismec's. If you've had a mod last you longer than a year, what kind was it? Where did you get it from?
I have considered making my own replacement "tube" for glass part of atomizers (like my old PockeX that the glass is thin and breaks so easily) Also (after next May) might be making several hardware projects... even attys. Is aluminum safe around e-juice? I know (in general... like for cooking) I avoid using anything acidic with aluminum... I assume most e-juice (besides citrus/sour that I don't like anyway) should be fairly neutral. It's easy to cut and work with.
