If I take softer but longer puffs will I consume less ejuice than I would if I take harder but shorter puffs? Also, how much of a difference does the amount of volts affect the amount of ejuice used?
I use an ego battery and have 4 air flow options, I like using 4.2V (my coil is 1.8Ohms) and the max airflow but this is not only tearing a hole in my wallet its practically making it disappear.
I only need enough volts required to vaporize the nicotine that I want (I'm not sure but I believe I'm using 46MG/10Ml nicotine ejuice, if I upgrade to higher level nicotine ejuice containers will the power and/or airflow requirements go down?
Finally, if I start using the 1.6Ohm coil (the only other coil the Nautilus is compatible with as far as I know.) will that make a difference in power consumption required to get the same effect?
More ejuice with less nicotine sub ohm,or less ejuice with more nicotine and using pod system?
I have been vaping on and off for over a year now. I have tried every strength, tons of different ejuice company's, making my own, have the best tanks and mods etc. and it just doesn't agree with me. I actually have 3mg nic right now and after two puffs it is all I can take. Everyone else I no or see puffs on them just like a smoke. I have read and heard that with analogue the nicotine is absorbed through your lungs and wuth vaping the nicotine is absorbed through your mouth and sinuses. I gave a very dry and raw miuth due to medications and have allergies so my sinuses are dry from nasal spray etc. I can smoke a pack of analogues a day no ptoblem but I JUST WANT TO VAPE!!!! PLEASE HELP
I've got a Nautilus with a 1.6ohm coil, and an iStick 50w. On the side of the coil it says 3.2v-5v, and I want to know if that's just a guideline or a limit for the coil.
I'm running it at 4.8 volts, but I get better flavor and vapor at 5.5 volts. There are no wicking issues or burnt taste at 5.5v, but I don't want to damage the battery or the coil. Any advise would be great thanks!
I'm sharing an online eJuice Recipe Calculator which I have developed to calculate recipes for mixing:
I've had good success with the outcomes of the formulas and besides being really easy to use and save/edit your recipes, the calculator has the following options:
- Create/Name eJuice Recipe with up to 7 Flavors predefined upon saving or manually named
- Set Amount to Create (ml), Nicotine Base (mg/ml), Target Nicotine Level (mg/ml)
- "Show Calculations?" feature which shows the math behind the mixing
- Save/Edit Recipe using password (with forgot password/password reset function)
- Optional - Ability to add Water & Alcohol as a percentage
- Optional - Set Drops/ml to override default (20drops/ml) in case you know your dropper size
- Optional - Add Recipe Instructions
I have put some work into this eJuice Recipe Calculator to try and make it as accurate as possible. Initially I was sparked to do this project as Tod Muller's calculator didn't quite meet my needs and I thought it would be really cool to have a calculator similar to his which could save the recipe and be accessible online. It does all of the calculations for you provided you are using the same PG/VG mix for your base and 0mg/ml thinner. All the calculations were programmed by me and can be modified if anything is off.
I've built the system in PHP and it connects to a MySQL database to save the recipes. The site is hosted off my dev/design portfolio domain; I do a lot of web development and I'm not advertising my services here. This was a personal project which I'm willing to share and I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks for checking it out and have fun!

The device goes up to 30 watts and I'm using the .6 coil with 9 mg of nicotine ejuice. Did I get the wrong type of coil? I don't know much about different coils, so I took my best guess, but I'm disappointed wit the lack of throat hit. If anyone can tell me what is going on, I'd rely appreciate it.
I have had nothing but a bad experience with using the new subtank nano.
I dont get why anyone would want to vape in this manner. My opinion is that it is to intense in flavor. It feels dreadful every lungfull. It feels like im just taking in raw ejuice every hit. The whole purpose for vaping is to deliver nicotine in a pleasant flavorful manner with just the right balance of flavor to make it interesting and enjoyable.
from my experience so far its been a really unhealthy nauseating experience and it annoys me greatly that this is the direction vaping is focusing.
It needs to be dialed down a notch and brought back into reality.
The aerotank mega and the nautilus mini I believe need just a little bit more tweaking but not by alot in my opinion. Its all about consistent wicking to be able handle say around 5 volts with no dry burn. Thats the sweet spot we should be aiming for. Just want a nice smooth punch not a revolting guzzling of ejuice effect. Your just making it way too complex In order to get a good vape.
again just my opinion.
I vaped initially at 12mg 50 50 and first drag I actually saw black spots and was dizzy. Then dialed down to 6mg to 70pg 30 still impossable to enjoy finaly 3mg 65pg 35vg and nope gave up its so wrong I just couldn't take it any more.
A real shame indeed. Dont believe all the hype.
I finally found a ejuice I love..... I go away for a day, come back, and now I can't taste any ejuice o.o so it's not from over vaping.... I'm a non smoker so I know that its not my taste recovering.... I'm concerned because I really enjoyed my vape. Help
I'm so damn excited to go to my 1st vape convention today. I bought my wife and myself VIP tickets to it. We get to judge on the Best Ejuice contest, so we get to try every ejuice entered. I get to see my 1st live pro and am cloud contests too. Every vendor will be giving each VIP a bottle of ejuice. It sounds like a great time and deal. It's the ArkLaTex Vape Convention in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Hello I really need some advice
I buy ejuice online but some juices are fine on my throat and others are too harsh and hurt my throat
I’m using a vapresso gen s with wotofo serpent ii mod
is there something I can add to store/online bought ejuice to soothe the throat hit ? I believe all the juices are 70vg/30pg. I know higher PG means stronger throat hit. Maybe i just need to buy max vg juices?
but really if there is some kind of thing I could add to the juice to fix it that would be better. The reason is I buy ejuice online and I don’t want to throw away and waste money just because of the throat hit.
Any suggestions ??
It appears that more and more studies are finding formaldehyde being released in ejuice when the voltage is 5 volts or higher. Anything lower than 5 volts and no trace of formaldehyde is being detected. Also, the formaldehyde detected is 15X stronger than that found in a normal cigarette.
Since formaldehyde is a carninogen, what does that mean for us vapers if we are chain vaping on sub-ohm devices and etc everyday? That's a lot of formaldehyde we are taking in each day...
I'm kind of scared at this point for my health...
Will we be seeing formaldehyde-free juice once the FDA steps in? How would that even work?
